sure but those skill are 10 sec cd or more
not really something you can spam, and you need a weapon switch
by swapping weapon you preclude yourself the other skill just to put a 1+1 sec immo..

A simple solution would be an internal cooldown of 5 second for each skill…
sword auto? 1 every 5 sec
bladetrail —> switch —> hammer shock | no internal cd
back to 5sec internal cooldown and back to be a useless major trait.
please rework it.

defy pain without a big heal (you can’t know if you have your shout up and still it’s only 6k for 3 shout) is useless.
use last stand instead, should work way better
1676 power is way too low.
ok it’s support build but then don’t mix offensive trait.go full support. it’s useless to take Unsuspecting foe with that power and 24% crit chance.
10 in discipline give you more adrenaline via Inspiring Shouts.
why shield? you are support go WH and take the improvement on it… huge cond clean boost for you and the party. and from the 15th oct you can get shout cd and warhorn improvement.
the food is wrong too… crit chance too low for that
if you want to go full support take the omnomberrycookie, otherwise anything that giv +100 power
impact on the hammer is the same… you hit for too little.. 10% more on earthshake is not important for this build.better go full support
and ofc healing signet instead of surge…
also not a big fan of defy pain… last stand all the time… you will need it BAD!

I think the real reason physical utilities are bad is because warriors lack a lot of utility in our weapon sets.
they are bad on they own. or at least very very very situational.
Anet put action skill in utility slot… but with utility CD.
-why stomp launch? and not stun? as a melee class it make no sense…. and not every aspect of the game in point holding…
-kick cd is ludicrous
-bolas are a jokes… even a distracted guy could evade those.
-bull’s charge a little more useful since is a gap closer and a CC, but still get smoked by any shadowstep,blink,form and so on.
removing stability with a trait is a bad idea… since 3 of 4 skill relay on launching/knockbacking (so the first would be wasted)… and only 1 is pbaoe and 1 as a tiny cone. to be effective you need to equip 2 or 3.. and that wouldn’t work.
my idea is to rework them completely…
make the warrior the real master of weapon…
transform them in engineer-like KIT (weapon).
each weapon could have a different range of damage and utility.
2 offensive 1 defensive 1 support
this way you add more depth and flavour to a straightforward class

first major in disc depends on your grp… i run with 2-3 war warhorn, so swiftness is not a problem but you may want to consider warrior sprint
very high dmg, earthshake is never below 5k… very common to do 7-9k maxxed out at 13k last night
blind is kinda broken right now…
it works on gtaoe and blast too, and make no sense at all.
earthshake nemesis is blind… but why? i target the ground not a character… how can i miss?
the same goes for shout and other blast (pbaoe) in the game…
atm blind is op and broken… luckly we have a lot of cond removal

Dude. Why do you keep saying I’m assuming no one else is bringing any source of regen? If you look at the video, theres a lot of regen ticking on my screen, it means its working regardless of whether other people are bringing regen.

first of all, regen don’t stack. this mean you can put 100 banner down and still heal a fix amount.
3 banner also doesn’t mean 15 people affected… you can affect the same 5.
also regen is a easy boon to get…. hell with warhorn trait you convert poison into regen… you have it all the time, and a lot of classes can share it.
that said… with 20 point in defence (200 hp, standard wvw warrior build) you have a nominal 155 regen tick (plus the wvw bonus, so 160-170), NOT 400… no warrior will ever go 2k hp… it’s useless…
the heal you make are mostly big number but pretty useless… try been hit 10-15k like it happens in wvw… what would you prefer 160/s from a banner or 3k from 2 shout per warrior (4k after patch)
on the other hand, more shout warrior more heal.
banner are good in pve. not in wvw
edit: after oct15 patch you banners will affects only your party. so only 5 people

would be enough for me if they add to Lung Capacity (-20% shout cd) the removal/conversion of 1 cond. So i can finally change the soldier rune.
It would be just like the warhorn trait which is in the same master major slot.
There isn’t a single racial skill worthy of being on your bar. So, as others have said, make your choice based on looks.
sadly for sPVP asura is the only choice (or maybe human).

simple add the ond removal effect to the cd reduction trait… and you have more freedom or more cond removal if you stick with the soldier
Last Chance trait is not so “random”.
no but 90 sec cd for 4 sec quickness it’s really not worth it
and still is not on activation, if you it a target @25% in the bombing and there is no one near o they are all downed it’s kinda wasted.
that trait is clearly for 1v1/2v2 in sPvP

we run a similar group, you don’t have to tell me about bombing…
and if you have a portal mesmer stealth is really not requested, time warp is better.
and since the quickness he put in the spec are complete random or on too high cd you got no real adv in a bombing situation.
the idea is not bad. high hp pool, enough mobility.
you compensate the lack of toughness and vitality from trait with the equip. there is just a couple of thing that (IMHO) doesn’t work…
-off hand axe? why? it’s really terrible… shield allow you a cc and 3 sec of life in case you are in deep kitten. cyclone axe deal less dmg then the autoattack from axe and doesn’t have stability and evade like the thief one. even mace is better in off hand…
- all that quickness… 1 complete random (sigil) 1 on a too long cd (trait) none of them are realible. sure axe autoattack with quickness is godlike BUT is you run with a good group you should have at least 1 or 2 mesmer. that mean time warp which is better than the 2 you have put togheter.

Superior Runes of Soldier: 6/6 bonus doesn’t apply if you’re underwater (design decision – breather needs to have a sigil in it?)
this is incorrect. every rune need to be put in the breather to have the 6th bonus working underwater.
for the rest… kudos. very well written!
- 2 Hand Axe. ofc.
- Large Shield. more group oriented, grant aoe protection or retaliation.
- Morning Star kind of weap. a weapon with 300-400 range and maybe a pull..
- DAoC Savage Hand to Hand Weap. single target high mobility high burst
No Real Reason to WvW
Right now, the reasons to WvW in GW2 are all focused around acquiring gear.

NO, that’s BS WoW put in everybody mind.
sure daoc have a deep rank system that allow to continue progress while pvping. BUT it also create a HUGE disparity between new player and old player.
Say you wanna start a 8man gang today on daoc… you simple can’t because 11l/12l gang will steamroll you no matter how good you are…
The same happened to WAR… i played 2 year there… from 2008 to 2010, i was pretty much top rank… then i come back this year… my char was useless i cannot enjoy the game because they added some more rank and some more item limited by the rank.
With GW2 you have a well balanced game (getting geared is very easy in this game) that anyway can enjoy if you are good….
TLDR
You play PvP because you like it. Not because they gave you a treat at the end of the trick like a circus animal…

Warhammer got this right.
All we need is a simple change.
Upgrade can be made only be made by the claiming guild.
Upgrade take money from the guild bank.
Guild should have an automatic tax. Every coin you make a X% goes to the guild bank.
no you simple delay the stomp. vengeance doesn’t come up in time to avoid a 1v1 stomp. even if you delay the knockdown at the last second of the first stomp animation.
you need a bad opponent to use vengeance
Vengeance gives you 5 seconds of invulnerability and stability, it is the reason why warrior can beat most classes 1v1. Because if you dont beat em w/ ur hp then when you get downed you can easily do 10-20% of their hp and if u down them as well its over for them. If a warrior doesnt get finished within 2 seconds after he got downed, he will use vengeance (provided that he knocks you down as well). It is the best downed skill and has saved me and even my team so many times in spvp
that’s BS. if you go down first in 1v1 you have no chance of using vengeance. even if you delay your knockdown at last possible second (risky because if you lag you die) before the first stomp, your enemy has time to do a full second stomp. You need team support to use it.
Vengeance is a very good skill but is on a too long cd. To fix it should have 4-5 sec cd after downed, so you can always use it in 1v1 (if you use the knockdown) but still unable if you are stomped by 2 player.
The DAoC “Lag-Free” discussion is just BS.
As explained before by Dosvidaniya the problem is how many request the server gets in that area..
A 3 faction inc in SM generate a server load comparable to a DAoC Relic Raid in prime time with just 2 faction involved… because if the third realm crashed the party you can simple go AFK because it was unplayble.
Tell me you ever played a smooth Relic Raid…. because i play DAoC a lot (both EU and US server) and i don’t remember a lag free Relic Raid or a simpler big-3 faction inc in old Emain.
WTH DAoC lagged in ToA PvE too…
And DAoC was a really lot slower game than GW2, so the input request sent to the server was quite lower…
GW2 allow a well setup 15-20 man team to do everything in WvW. Stop zerging your way trough Eternal BG.
The solution is simple atm. Less zerg = less lag and more fun gameplay.

for sure the most important is Fast Hand since is mandatory if you wanna go 20 disc and cause a 5 sec OUT of combat cd on weapon swap.

and maybe it was lag or whatever but yesterday (after the patch) in WvW a couple of time i cannot get free of immobilize with whirlwind and mobile strike (X from Discipline)
