Guild Wars 2

I just logged back in, started 10 different fights with illusionary leap as my opening attack, and sometimes using it again before the fight ended, and it worked every time. So now I don’t know.

I noticed this problem earlier this morning. The first answer I got when I asked was that I probably wasn’t in range so I accepted that it was my own fault, but now I’ll have to look into it again.

I also had it happen with Phase Retreat.

Yes and yes. I can be standing still in front of an unmoving object (like the Grawl totems) not being attacked and I’ll be missing it with the flame jet.

I have pretty limited time to play (with some very off peak hours) and what time I get is often interrupted by kids, but I’d like to maximize the fun I have when I do get to play by being part of something great.

I’m usually on around 9-11 am and 12-2AM PST. Playing multiple characters on Ehmrey Bay because I like them all and can’t decide, but think I’m sticking with an engineer for now (lvl 21). Also have a 23 Guardian and 17 Mesmer (who I’ll probably just use for PvP).

Right now I’m focusing on PvE to get leveled up, but interested in WvW and dungeons when I get there.

I recently started a new Charr and am currently level 12 running around the plains of Ashford. I love the Charr lore and story, but it feels like no one is playing in this area when I’m on. My human always had events so packed that I could barely keep track of it, but when I find an event with my Charr it’s often me and maybe 1 or 2 others. It’s the first time I’ve actually failed an event at this low of a level.

Is there really this little Charr love that no one is playing them, or has everyone just leveled out of this area?

Been working on a Mesmer render for the past week and keep running into issues. I think I finally have it how I want and hopefully I’ll have it posted in the next few days.

Animation is a total pain in the kitten (yes, I wrote kitten because I know it would just change anything else) . But maybe I’ll give it a try with a simple scene and see what I can do.

If anyone else out there uses Daz or iClone maybe we can collaborate.

Thanks, not sure what to do next. If I had any modeling skills (trying to teach myself Sculptris) I’d try to make a Charr or Asura. Maybe I’ll see what I can dial up with the Genesis figure in Daz.

i5 2500K overclocked to 4.4 and HD 6950 2GB with flashed bios running at 6970 specs and I average in the 60’s with all settings maxed.

Tom’s was the place I went when I built my current machine (around $900 before rebates), and it has great info for gamers. Haven’t seen if they did a specific article on GW2 yet but they break down the best parts for some of the big name games sometimes.
