Are you going to do something about the deflation of gold, a month ago 100 gems cost were about 9.50 golds, now it’s about 12.50 and keep rising without no fluctuation.
I don’t know if it’s gold sellers issue related, or a choice of yours, but prices of gold need to be controlled. Are you planning on letting new players be severly disavantaged, compared to older players, having benefited of really good gold prices ?
I’ve been knock back by a necro pet while in stealth, performing a finish on a warrior in pvp. The pet triggered is attack while I was stealth since it has to run to me to knock me back.
This is obviously a bug leading to exploit.
If you wouldn’t standing still at the mists entrance, maybe it would be harder for gold spammers to whisp you ^^
Not to mention there is absolutely no reason to do such a stupid thing but to offer gold spammers a good spot for farming clients, since you don’t actually need to be in the mists to pvp ^^
you can also use path of scars when your target is falling back, not seing what you do, it’s way more effective since it does full damage and knock back your target, leaving it without defense for a good melee combo. I usually use it when player is healing (usually standing still) fleeing, trying to hide in a group, being rooted (elite) or down (in my way for a good stomp) to maximize damage.
Then this skill is quite effective, it shouldn’t be used while in front of an agressive enemy, cause it has barely no chance to deal damage.

The title of this thread looks clear enough though, how can it be not understood by regular people ..?
Reading my post again I still don’t get what’s so wrong, are you actually suggesting regular pvp players are all pros thus play their classes perfectly ?
Since out of your mysty theorizing, what I’m actually experiencing in pvp as in wvw is thieves being very good at 1v1 in pvp, as 1vx in wvw.
Maybe you should try to actually play the game, instead of keep reading forums… you forum brawlers.
I fully support the op : the pvp as tpvp does need a deep rework, to make it more challenging, thus kick farmers, grinders, leechers, posers out. Those kind of people who have absolutely nothing to do in a true challenging pvp, which GW2 is not currently.
Btw you do know you can farm your dailies by doing pve, and it’s quicker : so why even come into pvp for that, except to have the obnoxious pleasure to kitten it for true pvp players ?
Having pve boys farming their rewards, titles, points in pvp is freaking boring, and I’m already quite annoyed to be forced to play with (or against) such people, who should be kicked as if they were bots, since they are actually more human bots than anything.
EDIT : having those changes implemented would do nothing but good, if farmers go in tpvp soloQ and argue (how hypocritical, you are so lame seriously) they’ll ruin it for tpvp players : I’d answer stop dreaming. Your personal stats will make you be matched with as bad players as you are, hence will not negatively influence any other players stats/scores but yours, since you’ll have no easy way/exploit to farm wins.

I’ll use this as a sig : it’s just a caricature of what the GW2 pvp truely is… terrible XD
Thief (DP) is a close second, but staying alive among all the mess of a fight is really hard and you can’t 1v1 no one unless you are WAY better than them. Definitely a class for more experienced players.
Oh yeah, this is so freaking hard thieves can own any class at 1 v 1 in pvp and they can easily do 1 v x in WvW. You bet this is a class for experienced players XD
You ninja lovers are so freaking pathetic : you can be proud to have killed the GW1 assassin, which was a good class, nothing to compare with this faceroll kills streak for noobs that the thief of GW2 is.
I’m asking myself if I ever seen a bad thief, which means any thief player is just a pro, considering the bulls you’ve wrote ^^
This would require a true dedicated PvP dev team indeed.
What I’m awaiting about the game which has an influence on sPvP, and WvW :
- frequent balance of classes (like every month at least)
- rework of the classes to offer more worthy builds for PvP and WvW.
What I’m more specifically awaiting about sPvP is :
- normal games should be used for testing builds, acquire automatisms, testing new maps.
- get ride of PvE rewards in tournament mode at least. Tournament mode should be dedicated to the most challenging games, being solo Q or team Q, in preparation for Esport.
Tournament mode should be reworked to close GW1 pvp mode like, in which players need to have wins streak to earn specific exclusive PvP rewards (titles and cosmetics mostly) and eventually unlock new maps as exclusive armor and weapons sets.
- being able to report AFKers (not possible at the moment) leavers (not possible at the moment) as cheaters (not possible at the moment) which means you’ll obviously have to investigate on that, as you’ll have to take solid decisions : punishments for AFKers, ban and permaban for cheaters. A game matching a team of 4 players versus a team of 5 players (random solo Q) should just be cancelled after 3 mn, time needed for anyone to come back from a crash, especially if leavings occur in the first 5 mn of the game.
- new maps
- new game modes (like the survivor mode of the sun reef or what about an escort caravan one)
- more pvp exclusive stats : total of kills, total of deaths, nemesis (classe who kill me the most) victim (class I kill the most) average kills and average deaths. The most used weapons as total kills with X weapon (pvp only stats to make difference with the pve achievements).
