Excuses much? I’m sorry, but we’ve already established that when a server starts losing all of a sudden, that means they are throwing the match deliberately. There can be no other possible explanation. Following that line of reasoning, the inevitable conclusion is that Tankara is aiming for bronze next season.

What, excuses? What, tanking? Oh my. I was just trying to refute the argument that Gandara is a gold leaguer cause we kept up with the coverage until Tuesday, which is wrong. We only kept up til Monday (where Deso shortened the score gap, even taking the lead) and we could only scrape some of it back during primetime. But come Tuesday morning, another shortfall in coverage means Deso gaining ~10k more points which could not be covered in 1 primetime.
If you’re bringing up your “line of reasoning leading to the inevitable conclusion”, I will simply give up my futile attempt in explaining..

The post by NonToxic in another thread seems like a quick, possible fix. It can be found here https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/tech/Code-7-11-3-191-101-2

If that still doesn’t fix your issues, try opening command prompt in Windows, navigate to the GW2 folder in there and type “gw2 -repair”
The client will then launch and start verifying your game files. I had problems logging in and weird lag loading game + lag doing anything even if you manage to get in, but this method fixed all those (for me at least).

4.5 hours in, no matchup thread yet. Is it too uneventful or is everyone perhaps just too busy fighting it out?

I think tonight was just a case of ‘everybody in the same place, at the same time’.
From MS, we had Mya, NXM and NO; from Gand, we had TFV, YARR, INT and IC; and I’m sure there were others I’ve missed.
All of them on our tiny little map, and we were not equally committed to the same place and at the same time

I don’t think there was any intention to blob, and in fact, I don’t think blobbing was done; It was all very separate, organized stuff… But from our side of the hill, there were a LOT of red names

Regardless, we still had decent fighting going on, and there remains a different, friendlier, vibe in this matchup. I hope the rest of the week goes as well as it started

Were you that necro from [ODDY] stalking/bumping into us several times tonight? I don’t think us pirates really participated in any of the big fights. We did check out the orange swords between bay and garrison once (was a 26-way fight involving INT, CNTK, IC, ONS, Mya, TUP, and tons of AG PUGs) and then we just went running rampant around the BL cause the lag was quite bad during the massive fight.

Thanks for all the warm welcome from Gandara and hostile reception from BB+AG. So far we’ve enjoyed our stay in Gandara and showed our appreciation by painting EB green. It’s a different style of playing compared to T8 WvW, with more challenges to be tackled in Gandara. We hope we can contribute more to the server, not just a 1-hit wonder. YOLO!

I’m from Singapore as well, and have been experiencing the same thing as the majority of posters above. The lack of official reply or a quick response is quite disheartening.

There’s already a thread regarding this, with a lot of players from SEA and Japan experiencing the same thing. No official reply yet, sadly =(

After the last maintenance on February 13, the counters on some achievement are reduced by 1. I noticed this because I had some achievements in Slayer section completed (1,000/1,000) and they all turned to 999/1,000 after I logged back on when maintenance is done. Here is the list:
Centaur, Spider, Indiscriminate, Bandit, Dredge, Elemental, Ghost Buster, Grawl, Flame Legion’s Bane, Fish, Inquest’s Bane, Krait, Skritt, Son of Svanir’s Bane, Zhaitan’s Bane

Weapon Master achievements were also impacted: Master of Overkill, Axe, Short Bow, Greatsword. The same issue also affects Lifetime Survivor achievement which I have completed (500,000 exp without death) where the counter diminished by 1 to become 499,999.

While most of the glitched achievements can easily be recouped, Lifetime Survivor is a little harder to regain, hence I humbly wish that the support team can look into this and work out a fix promptly.
