Hey i am new to dungeons kind of and i have a level 80 guardian and thief that i want to learn to speed run with and get dungeons done. I play on NA. I am very interested in becoming a student. I am only level 7 in fractals also.
That’s up to you. You likely don’t have time to make one (unless you have a lot of gold) between now and HoT anyway. What you might want to do is gather the components that are universal to all the legendaries and sit on those until you know what the initial three HoT legendaries will be, in case one of them catches your fancy in a big way. Plus in HoT you’ll have a guaranteed way of getting your desired precursor.
Me, I’ve never bothered making even one legendary and I’ve played since early-access launch. It’s been more long term concentrated effort and resource dedication than I really wanted. So I’m quite comfortable with advising people to wait
for sure thanks for the advice
Hey guys im not sure if i should go for a legendary before HoT. Some people are telling me no but i really want other opinions also. Thank you
I cannot tell if that build comes with that Keyboard+Mouse+LCD screen or if its just a Tower…
But if its just the tower – That PC is not worth $733 bucks. Not with AMD and certainly not with a FX4350
However THIS -> http://pcpartpicker.com/user/sirsquishy/saved/#view=gtbzK8 Is worth $618.34
Is it easy to build a pc myself? i wouldnt know how to put those parts on it.
Yeah, I’d recommend just staying away from CyberPower & iBuyPower altogether (they’re the same company). Cyberpower lost a class action lawsuit several years ago for fraud, when they got caught putting used and old OEM parts in people’s PC’s, but charging them for new parts without ever telling them. They are also notorious for having some of the worst customer service in the industry, and it’s considered an incredible feat if you can actually get them to honor any part of their warranty. Check their Consumer Affairs ratings sometime, they’re the lowest you can find in custom PC’s: http://www.consumeraffairs.com/computers/cyberpower_pc.html
There are several, MUCH better PC builders out there, if you’re not interested in building one for yourself (you’d be shocked how easy it is). I’d recommend checking out Digital Storm Online, they have a great reputation, and have a $799 option that would be much better for GW2 than the $740 computer you linked above: https://www.digitalstorm.com/configurator.asp?id=1165716
Yeah i think i am liking that pc better to. I am so happy you told me about this thanks dude.
you’re getting your moneys worth, but it is slightly dated.
Not by any means a weak machine, but if you want gw2 to run smoothly on ultra and for future games as well… I’d look for something abit more powerfull.
8gb of ram isnt exactly ideal, I’d aim for 16, but this you can just purchase on your own.
The graphics card is tested and solid, but again I’d opt for something abit higher, it will do the job, no question, but in a few years games will start to tax it.
All in all, the computer is worth the price they’re asking, at least as far as my country is concerned, and it’s a deffinite upgrade over a laptop xD
that does make sense. Thanks for the advice !
Hey guys i just need some help if this pc would be able to run gw2 on ultra settings. i been playing on this laptop getting no more than 35 and i am annoyed with it aha

I am wanting to get into a speed running guild soon but i want to get better at the dungeons but im looking for a guild that will help me out with that. I got teamspeak and a Mic.
thanks for all the feedback . lol still not sure what to do . thinking about just saving for a new desktop anyway
What laptop do you have?
You might be able to upgrade it to an i7 if you dont mind spending 230~ for the Motherboard + CPU (you could do an i5 in all reality). And doing the hardware swap.
I did this for my HP DV6, and I now get 20% more performance then I was getting when I had to overclock my AMD’s APU+HD7690M.
Referr to screenshot :-)
Though, if I dont limit the Game down to 30FPS, My laptop now runs at 80c’s for both the CPU and the GPU. At the 30FPS limit high temps are 68-70c’s
I have the hp Envy dv7 im down to upgrade if you can tell me what to get
thanks for all the feedback . lol still not sure what to do . thinking about just saving for a new desktop anyway
