Darkhaven Nation [DN] is a (very) new WvW / roaming guild on Darkhaven. There are no requirements to join. You can represent other guilds, we just ask you represent while we are in WvW. We have a commander, but will usually stay in smaller, stealthy groups. Whisper “Sitrus” if you are interested.

This is really not surprising. Deadmaumau scammed me for 50g (was buying mystic coins off of him for legendary). I am surprised that he has so many offenses and anet does not care. I got 30-50 members of my guild to report him also. I hope they do something about this :/

@Mucco The source is testing from myself and others. I did 5 tests of salvaging 1000 rares and got an average of around 900 on each batch. Other people had the same results. These tests were done with master’s salvage kits. Mystic salvage kits have the same % (although i found the results to be worse).

I dont suggest you add the ectos into the equation because you seem to have gotten lucky with the ectos. The chance of getting an ecto is 90%, not 112% like you got. You would still get around 28g (profit) just not quite as much as you thought. This is still a good idea though, just wanted to clear that part up

I was just wondering if there was any plans to add the ability to change the names of characters?

After salvaging 1000 rares, i got 904 ectos. Take this info however you like.

I did a test with 200 salvages and then one with 500 salvages. I got an ecto for about 90% of the rares. Im about to try a 1000 salvage test to see how the drops are. Chances are, you just had a bad streak.

I agree with diamondgirl. Instead of complaining on the forums, go farm the kitten lodestones yourself! If anything, a person like you who does not use the trading post benefits from this because you make more money farming.

This market is not DOMINATED by traders. Most people who trade for their money use speculation, which does no damage to the market. It just sounds to me like someones angry because they made a bad investment

I dont see anything wrong with making money in a way other than grinding. Arenanet even tried to get rid of grinding. Why do you think they would hire an economist if they didn’t want people to “play the market”?

I agree its stupid, but it is his money and if he wants to place an offer that might get filled eventually (happened with lemons) then good for him.

Its not a bug. People just order account bound items that can’t be sold to show off their money.

A lot of items are skyrocketing right now. Lotus roots are another item ive seen go way up. I wonder if they’re gonna get up to 3 silver like omnomberries.

I have been looking at different foods that might increase in price. I have a feeling that because more people are farming, items such as lotus roots and omnomberries will go up in price.
