I wouldn’t mind scrapping the entire party, to be honest.
Except for Taimi, I continuously find myself not giving a single -meow- about any of them.
They’re bland, boring, and I roll my eyes at almost every line of dialogue. They just do not hold a candle to Destiny’s Edge from our Personal Stories in GW2.
-edit- To clarify, I mean that Destiny’s Edge actually felt like veteran war heroes. Their names carried weight. Right now, it feels I’m parading around the Maguuma Jungle with a band of teenagers on tethered backpacks playing babysitter

Way to kick all your fans in the nuts with this A.net
50?! Is that a pricing error?! How do you even justify this price?!
“but it includes the base game too!!”
So?
I’m fairly sure that 95% of the people who are getting HoT already have GW2.
How about you just do the reasonable thing and just drop the Base GW2 game (really, nobody cares about this) and have JUST HoT for 20 bucks.
“Master has given a sock! Master gave it to Dobby!”
Skimpy armor, or realistic armor, I don’t care, we just need MORE armor. I love my Norn Female Engineer, but all she gets to choose is Trenchcoat #1 through Trenchcoat #10 with a little bit of variation through Dungeon Armor.
MMOs should have a HUGE selection of widely different armor, and GW2’s armors feel extremely small. Skimpy or not, I don’t care, we just need more armors, and more choices.
Yup, ends July 1st..
I already got everything I needed from the festival, and was hoping something else would come out next week or so, but nope, 1 more month of nothing.
-_-
I really wish something would be done about hats in Guild Wars 2. I’m always OCD about my character’s looks, and always prefer to wear something that looks stylish, even if the stats are not all that great.
However, every headgear equipment I’ve had on my characters has always been hidden because the headgear is abysmal. There’s so many various head pieces I want to wear, but I can’t because my character suddenly goes from a full head of glorious auburn hair, to a skinhead when she dons a simple cap. I remember getting the Witches Hat from the Halloween Event, and being so excited to put it on, only to have it sit in my bank, never touched again.
I realize the process of trying to make hair fit with hats is not easy. Clipping issues are huge. But I honestly think that removing hair entirely is NOT the solution, and to be honest, quite lazy on A.net’s part. I feel like it would be better to just have the hair untouched, with the hat equipped. Yes, it would present a glaring clipping issue, but it’s much better than having no hair at all. Or at least have an option to toggle hair on and off.
I’m not asking for a huge makeover, where they should make EVERY headgear compatible with EVERY hairstyle. Just that, maybe when you equip a headgear item, you get a set of 3 or 4 default hairstyles that have some bangs, or a small tuft of hair from within a hood. Just… something. Anything. Please?
Hi all, this is my first post here, but I’ve been playing GW2 for 3 or so months. I’m loving my (currently lvl 65) warrior. I’ve mostly stuck with my Flaming Sword (From legacy) and Shield from level 1-65. But now that I have a lot of traits unlocked, I wanted to start looking up specific builds.
Well, I tried to, except there were so many different builds that I couldn’t make sense of any of it. I was looking for a DPS PVE build and saw many:
“Greatsword is the way to go”
“Not really, it got nerfed, axe + warhorn is better”
“are you kidding me, it’s axe + mace”
“Guys. Are you stupid? Axe + Axe”
Before looking up any sort of build, I had just been playing with stuff that I thought would be good, randomly assigning traits to what seemed best (like i said, I’m currently sword + shield) but I want to make something that can deal some awesome damage. I’m not looking for PVP. I never play it. All I ever do is PVE and a little bit of dungeons thrown here and there.
If anyone has any recommended builds, let me know. I’ll definitely try them out.
