Fractal legendary backpiece or PvP legendary backpiece?
I only have 1 gift of fortune so I won’t be able to make both at the same time… If I make the fractal one first, will I have the opportunity to make the PvP one, say 6 months later? (Because it will probably take me forever to gather everything for another gift of fortune again) I guess what I’m asking is will the PvP backpiece ever retire so that you can’t make it anymore?

In my opinion, you can never go wrong with Human I think they have great armor skins for both female and male. I only have female characters though because I am a female player and would feel weird playing a male character lol. But here are a couple pictures of them.
In regards to class, elementalists are a lot of fun. I love how there are many different combo of skills you can use since there are 4 different attunements. I am a bit biased since I main an ele, but I do have a necro and I have fun with it as well. It’s really your choice!

I’ve also attached a screenie of the only Sylvari I have. If you have any questions about what armor skin I’m wearing, feel free to mail me in game! I hope my post helped.

Azizul, it is true that you can attune old rings. I also was able to attune both my zerker rings which I’ve had since before HoT

How do you attune ascended rings to add more agony resistance?

Hi, I don’t know why but I seem to lag only when I’m doing PvE. In PvP and WvW, everything runs fine and smooth but as soon as I get in a PvE map my fps goes down to like 10. This happens in every map in PvE. Anyone know how to fix this??

Hey everyone, I know nothing about computers so I hope someone can help me with this!
I’ve had my laptop for about a year now and at first it ran GW2 very smoothly and I even had the graphics at fairly high settings. But recently, my laptop has been acting weird every time I run GW. It gets really hot and makes whirring noises and I lag for about 2 seconds every 5 seconds. (hope that made sense lol) I lowered the graphic settings but that didn’t seem to have helped at all :/ I just want to be able to play my game with pretty graphics again without lag! What should I do about it?

Also I’m not sure if this will be useful but here’s information about my laptop. :
Intel 4th Gen. Core i5-4200M Processor, 2.5GHz/2 Cores/4 Threads/Max Turbo 3.1GHz

8GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM

Mesmer is my main in PvP. You just have to practice finding the right target and sticking to it. Get that down, and you should be golden.

I normally have a main for each play style. For PvE, I have my staff elementalist. For PvP, I seem to be best at mesmer so that is what I play. But of course, it’s not set in stone. Some days I will play one of my other 9 characters when I get bored. It’s all about how I feel that day lol

I had the same problem but I fixed it by running GW2 as an administrator. I hope this helps anyone else
