I am Salty aka Cyanide tar from Desolation who founded and upheld IRON for sometime.

After a break due to certain circumstance myself and some IRON members have reformed and moved to White Side Ridge for a real WvW Challenge.

We aim to bring WSR up to a much more respectable rank and we can not do it alone. We are looking for diplomats and individuals who can provide skill and style to WvW and other aspects of the game and the willingness to train the next generation of players arriving with the expansion!

We aim to run daily events along with population to provide any run via dungeons or other at anytime due to the number of active we aim to achieve.

I am going to set up a Desolation forum – Through IRON/ There will be little to no moderating, Clincher is you need to register and be accepted, You will contact myself or an officer of IRON and you will be given full access…, keeps out those spies.

I am setting up the DNS now and sub domain this can take up to 24 hours as we use a dedicated host then i will set up the forum.

I would like to say an OFFICIAL Thanks from IRON. We have been here from the start fighting and the steady increase in activity has been tremendous.

I would also like to point out can we please stop singling out RUIN. These guys are apart of Desolation they are Desolation and they ARE here to stay.

To RUIN. We could not have asked for better brothers to fight with. Your constant Dedication is a constant reminder to IRON that if we keep swinging eventually we will prevail.

To Desolation. Thanks again. I can sleep every night knowing in the morning we are in for some bloody good times.

Other than that Keep SWINGING always punch always saying NO. We are here and WE ARE here to STAY!

Scryar, I completely understand but all i have to say to reply is, Why complain about something you have no power over. Yes night capping is a problem to those server but Anet made WvW 24/7 so this would always be a problem.

For me Desolation had this problem, We got lucky with RUIN and now the RUIN guys and the IRON guys and now our new friends yet to be revealed are going to tear everyone a new one

Desolation is not winning by nightcapping,
I agree it is helping us,

Though to stomp out that we suck in the day please cross reference the time of the day with the PPT. It is a constant.

I have up most respect for Blacktide, Good sportman ship, Don’t give up with be a great match up.

Hi lin, Hope you from BT are well, I am looking forward to seeing BT next week had good fights with you last week, Although after all the whining from Far shiver i know IRON will continue to aim them.

I am sure we will see Far shiver in Tier 3 at the end of next week.

I have up to 6 Ts’s As i diplo among a few guilds and i have them all open at once, There is a tab system for TS3.

IRON is primarily Daytime. We just have enough for night shift as well. + Desolation is better in weekdays then weekends i don’t know why but that is how it is.

I have yet to see RUIN tell people to stop qq. Personally though both IRON and Ruin open there teamspeaks to all Pugs So why not use it i would prefer a full 166 use a ts for ultimate coordination.

Personally as for bad for the community i have yet to see an impact on this.

I have a better idea as we know Kodash And Far shiver has some agreement or just mutual distaste for Desolation, Either way its not working for holding on to First and we will win sooo….

Kodash Aim for Farshiver! Lets knock them down to Tier 3 its going to happen anyway.

Personally i think Far Shiver’s need to stop complaining about night capping, We had that problem we solved it, That simple.

Besides if your so against it then why do you have a thread looking for NA team, Not to mention i heard you have a night cap guild and they turned out to be weak as RUIN swept them a side.

Other than the kittening and moaning i am pleased with Far Shiver so far the fights have been close and have been great fun. Although when we fight again next week and BlackTide come up i think Far Shivers may drop to Tier 3

There is a distinct absence of Daytime Hardcore WvW Guilds that dedicate as much time as IRON does. (Note I am not comparing any other guilds some people just cant give WvW that much time)

We are looking for EU Daytime guilds to work with us to take and hold anything we come up against in the day as IRON can only do so much.

I like to make the point that i make to everyone. Why are we fighting among each other when there are Frenchies and Germans to be killed?

We are one server in fight against other servers, This bickering and comparing guilds does not help anyone.

Yes i agree some IRON members are elitist and i allow it because most of us pull 20 hour shifts, I also tend to be when i am nearing the end of the 20 hours and i become grumpy.

I personally think this is not helpful.

Although on the other hand i would like to say a Huge thanks to my friends in other guilds that has given time to IRON and worked with us so well.

So a big thanks to : AA,SHC,LoR,YuM,JuG I am truly sorry if i missed you out but needless to say if you feel i did miss you out, Thank you for working with us.

I do not support this, I see sense and reasoning to it but i suspect there are hidden agendas here.

I speak from what i have seen on Desolation, Transfers do hurt the server but whining and getting Anet to fix your problem is the easy way out.

Maybe sack it up and fix it yourselves which Desolation has done and now people are transferring back.

Not to mention if you are butt hurt about the one week matches, You are certainly going to hate the two week rotations that will be heading our way soon.

Just my two cents.

Hi i am the commander that has been blamed here for the hacking.

Here is a small statement.

When hitting garrison some random named Cycalo or something similar.

Used a portal in front of the zerg, PuGs used the portal and we we’re in. Simple

It has been confirmed from Thudda that these hackers are the same from Seafarers that moved to Kodash Yesterday.

Also let me drop another fact and believe me when i say this if i was a hacker you would all be dead as your accounts would all belong to me and Desolation would be winning.

This does not apply to those who have enjoyed Conflicts with IRON and it allies it has been fun.

My suggestion is pretty simple and people would say unfair but here me out.

There is not a problem with night capping, Players who cannot play in the day shouldn’t be penalized, Though on the same hand neither should the players on PEAK times.

All players want to contribute and in my eyes, The advantage is not points gained at night though it is a problem, The main advantage is resetting upgrades on keeps.

So my suggestion is simple.

In my eyes as long as everyone feels they are contributing at whatever time people should not have a problem so…,

Peak time points remain at 15 minutes.

At Dead times 12am-6am GMT+0 for Eastern EU servers, Should either be every 30 minutes or every 60 minutes.

Thus allows all players to contribute but the majority can suck it up as they feel something has been done to remedy the situation and in my eyes everyone walks away with something.

Hello, I am one of the leaders of IRON, Some of my members and friends here and voiced some good points and people have tried to hammer them and vise versa, Also seeing a lot of hate towards IRON atm which proves we are doing our job well.

I am here though to say Well done to GH and AR you both played well i have enjoyed this week’s WvW and next week we switch to Casual play as we alternate every week so our guildies can get some farming done.

I look forward to fighting against you all in the future it has been a royally good rumble.

I hope when the French log on and find everything GONE. They realize that we can also night cap everything as it is not hard.
