Just so you know, there are 2 types of zerging, mindless and strategic. Staff eles happen to be good in both. Zerging does get boring after a while which is why people like to roam.

It’s was not that one spec was too powerful, it was just that the other specs were not powerful enough. Anet did not understand so they nerfed one of the only decent specs.

I think FA is the only server I could think of that truly needs RE, with BT gone I think they could use more NA players. SoR while they have room don’t seem to be hurting for NA, but they’d know better than I how their queues look at those times. I wouldn’t touch DB for 30k gold, and since you’re from the kaineng bandwagon I doubt you’re looking for Kain 2.0 anyways.

Being currently on DB I can agree in a way, but DB has always been pretty stable and not rising up from a low tier. I doubt DB will suddenly drop down. Skill lag in t2 is pretty annoying. If you can’t handle massive skill lag on raid nights, I do not suggest t2, I would go anywhere from t3-t5.

I prefer to dodge using [shift] and sometimes i click my utility skills, so while I am in combat I link a skill into the chat and i cant move because it has me typing instead of moving and casting. I looked in the controls menu and could not find the link function. It would be really great if we could change this.

How can he/she learn if you refuse to offer assistance? Or is there no assistance because stealth is indeed a broken mechanic without a true counter and you just tell others ‘L2P’ because you wouldn’t know how to counter it either?

To be honest I find Blind is a better ability to use on a downed person pre-finisher as you can still be hit in stealth, knockdown ect but you cannot be if they’re blind and miss their downed abilities though when you think about it Ele’s have the best ability to down you without you being able to fight back by using Mist Form to become Invulnerable.

eles can’t finish in mist form anymore....

They do care about WvW. Proof being that they have been making a lot of positive changes lately.

Aparently 1 update with most of the changes (“positive” is an opinionated view) equals “a lot” in your book.

The only real “positive” change in my opinion was removing the culling. They did add the rank system in ONE recent patch, after MONTHS of nothing at all. And many would debate the rank system being positive or negative.

Reasons why I believe they dont really put much effort or care about WvW:

1. The length of time it takes for them to change or add anything (months and months)
2. The extremely limited testing they do with any new changes or additions to WvW. I bet a common thing heard in the anet offices is “Oh… wow… we didnt think about that happening” when it comes to the WvW changes they add.
3. Commander pins costing gold
4. Huge imbalance of item based rewards between WvW and PvE
5. Skill/Server Lag getting worse as time goes on.
6. Focus on zerg gameplay over anything else (even if unintentional – which points to #2)
7. Inability for guilds to be in groups larger than 5 people (in a game called GUILD wars.)
8. Map design and ZERO attemp to change or improve it (Too small, objectives are too close together)
9. Queue system is broke. Its more like a lotto than a queue, and sure as heck doesnt keep the number of players on each side balanced by actual numbers. All too often is 100+ from one server vs barely 30 on the other.
10. Complete lack of server wide and personal incentive to win each week, aside from bragging rights. (something as simple as awarding WXP buff to the winning side for the next week could help with.)

These are things that have existed since BETA. Over half a year later, nothing has really changed. The biggest and only real change, is the removal of culling, which isnt an addition, but rather a FIX to a broken system that shouldnt have existed in the first place. The Ranking system is the only real NEW thing they have added in MONTHS and it seems to have been thrown together by 2 people who didnt have to test it or run it past quality assurance before pushing it live. Its like the people responsible for WvW changes and additions were given the task as a punishment, or like its that side job that only gets worked on when everything else is done, and there is extra time.

Skill lag, as many here have pointed out, is a server side issue. Your PC’s components will not have any impact on it.

So when is Anet going to give their servers an upgrade? (If they are of course)

I am experimenting with builds, so I buy a Superior Sigil of Fire for 5 Gold mind you, When I put it on my dagger which is a Mystic Spike and I crashed. When I logged on the Sigil was gone and there was a Sigil of Hydromancy on my mystic spike. Wondering if it could be restored somehow because i just dumped 5g on it and now its gone. Thanks, I don’t want this to happen to anyone else.

Make squads function like large parties with extra features, and add a /who “zone” command to bring up who is in the zone. very useful. Thanks for reading.

It is not immune to fall damage and condition damage, it’s description is VERY misleading.

Some servers have teamspeak servers, or join a guild that has one. I would suggest Crystal Desert, especialy if you want wvw.

Meh last week was okay, but when ya get the same match up 2 weeks in a row….it just kittening sucks.

Now if Anet would allow us to find out the names of the people we are fighting….that would make longer match ups better since you could develop rivalries.

I wanted to let everyone know that I actually found 1 decent player on CD for the first time

Well, let’s be fair… if anyone were about to take you down on ele you’d hit your mist form run then go air attunement and hit 4 as fast as you can. But I’ve taken down lots of eles from CD so far anyways, mainly because their opening combo is so predictable… air > 4 > 5 earth > 4 > 5… well, that’s what those normal dumb d/d ele I see from CD try all the time anyways.

Dunno bout you guys but I use s/d on my ele. I like to think i’m pretty good.

They seem underwhelming to me, especially if compared to say twilight or most other legendaries. I may be the only one who feels this way. I think things could be done to look better. (Graphics wise)

for many MMO i play , i like being a pt leader and start my own pt , but for GW 2 most of the time i dont feel like it . this is because the spamm filter is very unreasonable . i get lock for only like saying in /map 3-4 time. i really dont feel like shouting and getting lock because i trying to start a pt. they really need a more intelligent spamm filter

OR what they good do is implement a better looking for party function, I forget where I read this but I’m pretty sure they recognized that the looking for party system does not work very well.

I suggest getting a desktop, but if I had to choose one I would choose the second one.
Also Alienware is VERY overpriced, but they are good computers, if you have the money, sure go ahead but don;t stress about it.

I was suspended for no reason, I re-read the Rules of Conduct (twice). I sent in a ticket and I’m getting impatient, I have a wvwvw night with my guild… …
