Guild Wars 2 has been crashing a lot for me not just once a day but more like 3-5 times per session. Recently the game has been crashing while logging in. It’s very frustrating. Verifying doesn’t seem to do anything either. Is there anything else I can do? I’v tried reinstalling the client and that hasn’t helped.

HD 5770
4gigs RAM
Windows 7

It’s not amazing yea but I don’t play at demanding settings and I get 35fps most of the time so I don’t know if it’s hardware related or not.

If I use a higher level gathering tools such Iron Pickaxe to gather copper is there any benefit to doing so such as extra copper gained?

If I use a higher level gather tool on a lower level gathering mat do it use just as many charges?

So far I’m level 27 in Kessek Hills so I’ve been switching back and fourth between my Copper and Iron tools as to not waste them. It can be annoying so I’m curious if I should just use my Iron tools to gather the earlier nodes instead.

Easily. I like Guild Wars 2 but I love crafting more than anything and GW2 doesn’t amaze me there. I played Star Wars Galaxies for almost two years and I’ve never seen any MMO come close to the crafting system of that game. It’s amazing and the next MMO I see to create a crafting system like that would get my money for years to come.

You lost what little respect you had when you said The Beatles are overrated. Fyi I do think the soundtrack is lacking but I don’t know much about video game composers other than Inon Zur, Jeremy Soule, Jack Wall and my favorite Mark Morgan.

Man the best thing about Star Trek Online is the Foundry system would love to see something similar find it’s way to Guild Wars 2.

I bought a physical copy of the game today. I built a brand new PC for GW2 so I don’t have the game installed already and I keep getting thiskittenerror. I do NOT have any antivirus/malware running infact I uninstalled them to see if it would work. I turned off Windows firefall, I did go into my router settings for port forwarding, I tried downloading the client but that isn’t working either.

I’ve been at this for 3 hours trying any and every suggestion and nothing has helped. What the hell am I supposed to do?
