Maybe it is a bug. When my account got suspended last night I saw the ip logs and the only ones there were mine. So I guess I hacked myself.

I have a theory that we wont be able to get our accounts out of suspension until the weekend is over. So, hopefully Monday we can play again.
All we can do is send in our support tickets and wait.

Yes, because that is how companies work. This is happening to thousands of people. They have a terrible system for handling this at the moment, and if they are 5 day backlogged, they need to hire employees with the millions they just made to help process this stuff. No one accessed my wife’s account, no suspcious activity occured. I do not know what they are concerned about on the account, but they have an obligation to communicate those concerns immediately upon suspending access and also an obligation to review and resolve the issue in a timely manner. 5 days is not timely. As I said, this is terrible service and a terrible way to start off our customer supplier relationship.
I 100% agree with all that you have said. But saying FIX MY ACCOUNT NOW just put a bad taste in my mouth. All I meant by it. Especially because many of us have been waiting longer.
I find DS boring as well and only use it to get away from enemies, when I am about to die, or to get into a keep that has 100 people smashing on the door. I don’t like the skills DS has, they just seem to plain and not like “OH, CRAP!, THAT NECRO JUST WENT DS” as to…“great he/she is going to live a little longer because he has DS”.
It seems silly to HAVE to spec that way to be able to to compete with other classes.
once people start mastering DS, I’m afraid of how strong Necro will be
I might be taking this out of context, but does that mean we have to be specced to DS basically to be able to hold our own weight?
I find blood and conditionmancer to be way more fun then just trying to get into DS. Guess it’s time to re roll.

Well, good news is…is that you don’t have to log into the account support to send in a ticket. You can simply do it by just putting in your email.
Other than that, I don’t know.
If you are talking about the automated message that they send you as soon as you send in a ticket saying that “Hacked”, it doesn’t work. I sent in a ticket saying suspended as well as hacked because it is unclear as to what it really is?
I followed the steps and did the account restoration process and I am still suspended too.
I could not log into my submit a ticket account either and reset the password there. Once I had that fixed, I could get in and continue on to submit my ticket.

Your right, it is best for EVERYONE who has the same problem to post a new thread what issue they are having. So maybe every thread will read HACKED HACKED HACKED, I haven’t received my gems it, etc.. The GM or Devs will just lock each thread that the issue has been addressed so its a waste. Obviously, if they see a large number of people on one thread they aren’t going to ignore it.
No problem, it sucks that this has messed up so many player’s weekend.
You should look at a couple forums, like one right next to this before posting a new thread. People are having the same problems as you.
Yes, don’t worry it does that for me as well. If you try to follow the link they sent you more than once, it will give you that message. Go into your account settings manually and change it there.

No problem, I am not happy as well. I have a guild to run and we had events planned this weekend. Guess I get to cancel.
What I did as soon as I read that it had been suspended, was change my password. If you can still log into the forums, your account has not been completely hacked to the extent that they have changed your password. So, I would first change your password and even email if you’re really concerned. But if you can log into the forums, it should be fine. The hacker is not able to log onto the account which is why they have this suspended mechanism. It’s to prevent the hacker to logging on, we just get the crappy part because we want to play and well….ITS OUR ACCOUNT.
Your characters and items will still be there when you log on. That’s why they put in this system. If they had not, possibly the hacker would have deleted your characters, items, maybe gotten banned for spam. If that happened your SoL because they have no way of recovering items, thus they suspend the account.
You guy’s havent been hacked. Someone attempted to hack it and since they dont have a account restore system in place they simply just suspend it until you send in your information. Problem is, we have to wait a long time to get our account back even if we have control of it. I received the same message 12 hours ago and still have not heard anything.
I was online, my screen went black and I was thinking “Oh, the game just crashed…time to reboot”. Nope. So it’s just an unfinished system and unfortunately we get the crappy part of it and A Net gets a longer time to figure out how to get accounts restored.
I just hope we aren’t waiting days to play just because someone TRIED to get on my account.

That would be nice, because I had a guild PvP event I was supposed to run and got kicked while playing and said someone tried to log onto my account. Hopefully, I wont have to wait 4 days like some people just to be able to play again.
