Welcome to our weekly recruitment thread! This is where we say things and stuff about the guild and junk, and then you suddenly decide we’re the best ever. (It’s true. We’re the best ever. Even better than your grandma. And she’s pretty darn cool if you ask me.)

Let me see.. What are we supposed to talk about here? I guess we’ll tell you what we do. PvE mostly. PvP is pretty frequent too. One of the driving features of our guild is that one guy who never represents, and spends all day RPing in Divinity’s Reach. He’s pretty cool. Trust me on this.

Do you like talking to people? Do you like being social? We love talking in chat. Also, we use VoIP. Discord is what we use, and it’s pretty neat. You don’t even need to download it if you don’t want to. Although you get cool features, like the game lowering the volume when someone speaks. Also there’s a phone app for when you wanna chat but aren’t at your computer!

Do you like not talking to people? Do you like not being social? That’s cool too I guess. We don’t judge. On that note.. Feel free not to rep. We just want cool people to hang out with, who will help each other with stuff and sometimes donate stuff for the guild hall (NOT REQUIRED)

Also, there’s no interview or super strict restrictions, as long as you’re not a buttface. (That’s right, if you’re mean and racist and homophobic, you have a butt for a face. Deal with it.)

Yo! Welcome to Subject to Change [STC]!

Now centered out of Lost Precipice, North of Verdant Brink, we are proud to announce that we are recruiting (Again! (Still!)) Now bolstering slightly more members than before, and a brand new guild hall, we’re excited to welcome all players to the guild — New or Experienced. We don’t care who you are, as long as you’re a cool person.

We do so much PvE it hurts. Also, we are very much mediocre PvPers (rek dem n00bs). As far as WvW goes, our current members don’t play very often, but we do still love it!

We like to use VoIP (Discord) and we do our absolute bestest to keep the chat mature, fun, respectful, exciting, buzzword, active, responsive, etc., etc. Of course, VoIP is absolutely not required, though it is encouraged (Luckily Discord can be used through browser, but you get extra features if you download — not to mention smart phone apps for offline chat)

No repping required! Just participate in our super cool missions and junk!

Anyway.. There’s no interview either! Our guild is better than your current/last/grandmother’s guild! I promise. Trust me on this. Join us today!

Oh, also— I’ll ask you fill out this quick survey.. I know I said no interviews, but it’s just so our guild recruiters can all see who has applied. Right, right. I’m not quite hoping for many of these, just more variety would be nice. I agree with you completely. Also THANK YOU. I completely forgot about Tengu, they’re one of my favourite races.

New playable races

I don’t know about everyone else, but I would love to see some new playable races. Some of these could include:

• Hylek
• Skritt
• Quaggan
• Kodan
• Tengu

Obviously, this wouldn’t include any enemy-only races, but just races who may be seen as friendly NPC’s throughout the world. However, if “unfriendly” races were to be introduced as playable, it could be done so with a system similar to the Alliance/Horde system in WoW and could include races such as:

• Troll
• Dredge
• Grawl
• Ettin
• Minotaur
• Risen/Branded (of any specific race)
• Jotun (Maybe… They’re quite large)

Quaggan would love to play as itself

How many people on this thread have submitted support tickets? I feel like ANet might respond a bit faster if we did that, too

I agree. Jumping seems to either happen late, or not at all

I would love the idea of having more variety in legendary weapons! As far as I know right now, there is only one for each type of weapon and they all have pretty much the same stat allocation. A long bow with precision would be nice :P
