It would be great if you could tell us what merchs could we expect there. I can’t be there but my friends will be and I could ask them to check your booth and get me some souvenir. Unfortunately they don’t play GW2 so they won’t know what to look at
I’m not an anet employee but they threw out t-shirts in 2010/2011 i believe, and in 2012 they gave out item cards for a in-game T-shirt before their lounge/bar got swamped.
So i’d say expect T-shirts in some way shape or form!
I also just finished it (2 mesmers team
), and in stash 4 i got a packet of salt

I felt pretty nostalgic seeing how the setting,area effects, bosses, mechanics and music were similiar/exactly the same as the gw1 version.
I really enjoyed the instance in general.
I was pretty happy with the new achievement system,
people who don’t often WvW and want the rewards can get them without taking up slots and doing useless stuff, and then simply leave.
In my opinion the current system creates a better environment for people who want to wvw/ win at the tournament

Also for some money, identify/salvage blue rarity salvageable armor. This can give runes wich are worth up to 5platinum.
Well the city they protect is trashed, they lost friends, comrades and the lionguard sustained losses. Some of them had to fight in pretty dire situations as quoted from the arch or nothing short story

I dont like the downed status in pvp, the reasons for this is that it just prolongs the fight, and it’s to easy to zerg resurrect the downed player.
My suggestion to this would be to make this procces harder (risk for reward) as in gw1 with the ressurection skill wich took time, could easily be interupted and made you a target.
Pure deathmath
No capture nodes, just a battlefied.
Remove the downed status, 0 hp= death. The winner moves up a round as in the gw1 random arena system and gains more points/rewards.
Return of Heroes’ Ascent, this was such a challenging thing. Fighting your way up to the hall of heroes and keeping control. I would love to see something like this in the game.
1) High skill content, (without being forced in a zerg who don’t know the mechanic).
2) medium armor that isn’t a trench coat
3) charr tail clipping fix.

Make world3 normal even harder, world2 is the most fun I have had in this game.
4)Phase 1, she cannot auto attack.
you can easily dodge these if you strafe a bit, a few steps to the right and then to the left and she will lose her aim
Did it with engi, 17tries

used med kit,grenades, elixir C and mango pie
It was pretty easy once you realise that the aoe is always in the same hourglass pattern.

Unknown number of promotional codes were also planned to be given out at Guild Wars 2 booth in gamescom 2012, but were instead distributed to European fan sites to give away.
I’d like to add that they did hand out codes for a while at gamescom 2012, but stopped doing it becouse of the booth getting overcrowded/safety concerns.
You indeed need the hall of monuments portal stone to teleport and claim the rewards. If you haven’t received it you can obtain one for free from scornheart(merchant) at hooligan’s route(lion’s arch).
