It’s a shame more of the deso and VS guilds aren’t playing. I know the score is lopsided but I enjoyed my battles against you last week. kitten the score, come out and fight for the fun of it.

If you are implying that our points at night are coming from ruin you are incorrect.

It is every BT’s responsibility to dissuade trash talk on the forms. So even if ruin come here, and god I hope the don’t, it will be our responsibility as a server to let them know that type of action is not approved by or condoned by the rest of us. The few times I have seen trash talk by BT members was either in defense of themselves or when there was already a prior history, although I don’t even care to see that go on.

It is a shame to see such large turtle groups but until Anet chooses t omake it an invalid tactic it is a valid and smart one.

Portaling is fine and if you/your guild doesn’t know how to counter it look into it, it’s not a hard tactic.

Agreed guys Keep the thread clean! Yes we have picked up a few guilds but that is because we have a desire to compete in T1 and in order to do that we needed more coverage as we rarely had a que for our BL’s.

Elona and River Side giving the same great battles as the past couple of weeks. This should be a fun matchup, please just keep the thread classy.

Because the guilds that moved still pail in comparison to one super guild. It’s easier to coordinate 4 smaller transfers.

DeathCard we have a lot of PVE players on the server but I promise you can get in.

I agree with Steb death card. I recently moved for the same reasons and had some of the same reservations as you. Plus there are tons of guilds that would love to have more WVW players.

It is quiet amusing is it not? In fact I see they are still up to their same old tactics but against a different server this week.

I have enjoyed fighting everyone here this week as I’ve picked up some good tactics and maneuvers from both sides.

Now we just need to get some of my fellow Mericans in the server to join all these great EU guilds.
Last night The EU guys were going to bed and I was left mostly alone, as it was still my “primetime”, there were still a ton of great battles going on but BT was having a hard time mustering enough people to compete.

Some people are afraid that if they come over here that there will be no one to play against and it will end up only being PvD, I can tell you in these higher tiers there are enough people on from other countries that you will still have great fights.

This thread epitomizes what WVW is about. Screw the score it’s about great fights and friendly banter.

Yup I must say I face a lot of the tail end of the EU servers and the fights are pretty spectacular.

at 5pm we had no que, que didnt start till around 8pm your time then it was a max of 15min on 2 of the BL

Those were some awesome and tough fights last night. I am looking forward to the rest of the week, especially if the score stays this tight.

RG I have mad respect for your guild. Every time we came in contact with you your first wave hit and everyone died, heck I died before I could get any of my healing off.

I agree that resources should not be used unnecessarily it’s just sad to see such a low turnout, but we are competing with the facts of the halloween events going on and leading by a ton provides little motivation for people to come into wvw.

This is a mod that I would be happy to pay gems for.
In the Hero screen add a second tab for a second armor setup that we could have all our armor, trinkets and weapons already in place so if we wanted to switch gear it was easily done with one button click, instead of having to swap everything out of our bags. I think others would probably pay for this as well.

The only time I do it is when the corpse has been laying on the ground for an excessive amount of time, it either means they are spying or went AFK.

The thing I don’t understand is they keep saying we will be surprised in T2, no we wont. We expect it to be a hard uphill fight that slogs on and may even mean we come in 3rd. But if we do come in 3rd it will be only after we put in a good effort, and so what if we lose hopefully we will pick up a few new tactics and get to learn something.

It was painful to log in yesterday and see that BT had the unmanned buff on and we were only pulling a mere 150 pts per tick. The time frame during our “primetime” our guild never had more than 10 people on and our zerg was never more than 15. Seems everyone took the night off instead of working on tactics and communications as our guild did. We managed to hold our own against some overwhelming numbers quite a few times.

Funny how they keep bragging about beating BT before people moved here. Maybe they don’t realize people moved here because there was not a huge WVW presence before, if there is little to no que now I can only imagine what it was before this “huge” influx.

And even if we do crash and burn at least we will have done so with a fight and hopefully without all the crying of cheating and then off hour capping.

Genev about sums it up for me. I do have mad respect for riverside and they have thus far given us some great battles. SFR only manages to whine and obviously think themselves gods of WVW.

And Gronk if you are asking if our server goes to bed at 11pm GMT then quite a few of us do. I know when I signed off around 10 GMT last night a lot of my guild had already gone to bed. So I guess now you are the night cappers by your definition.

Highlet send over some prospects to the server and just check out the action for yourselves. As snort said some of the other major servers are going to 24/7, you can read the forums to see that, so we are trying to position ourselves for that as well. I was originally on a US server but made the transfer as the EU competition is a lot better. Unfortunately you still get the whiners and people that try to highjack your thread..

Probably because there were accusations of cheating and hacking being flung around which is against anets user agreement. Especially with blanket statements aimed at specific guilds. I have noticed a lot of threads like that get locked as they serve no purpose.

I am a US player and recently transferred, I can not say enough good things about running on this server.
Almost all of the text is in english (98%) and the WVW chat is all in english. The organization in WVW is second to none and the alliance cooperation is outstanding, even PUG groups are organized (even without a commander online), and manage to get a lot of things accomplished in an efficient manner. Que times as an American are very low as most of the time I am queuing up at EU non peak times.

I would like to highly suggest other organized American or latin american groups come over and join us. Be willing to work as an alliance and give it your best effort and you will see the returns.

I originally transferred to this server because the server I was on was just not WVW orientated and was always getting blown out of the water. When I transferred I looked at the rankings and saw that BT might not always win but the battles are always close and hard fought. As a player this is the only thing I ever wanted out of WVW but instead I have gotten to team up with and learn from some fantastic people.

As others have said send over some reps, hit me up and I would be happy to show you around.

What would be interestign is if the combined the EU and NA servers to make 1 team vs. 2 other teams. Say SOS EU & NA VS. MAG EU & na VS. DB EU & NA, that would be fun, but they would have to really raise the pop cap which I don’t think they can.

I agree, the LT could also organize raiding parties. Our guild isn’t that large but when we get together for WVW we are too large for a standard party.

Happens all the time now seems more frequent at high density times, I play in the GMT-5 time zone

For me it seemed like this all started happening after the asuran patch on 10-11-12 no settings on my side have changed and I did not have this issue thursday evening but I did when I played on Friday 10-12-12

Game is essentially unplayable now as it boots me about every 5 minutes. I played since a week after launch almost every day for 4 hours or so a day with no issues.

I have been getting code 7’s now as well seems to have started when they updated last thursday I had never had it before than and nothing on my side changed. I woudl occasionally get a code 58 before but now I get booted from the game every 5 minutes or so basically making the game unplayable. I had played since near launch with no issues until I tried playing this past saturday, after the asuran patch.
