Trillia Midwell Work-Around:
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Guild-Bounty-WORK-AROUND-for-Trillia-Midwell
While yes, it does require a little bit of luck and time, it is still a temporary fix for those looking to fulfill a guild bounty. It is better than nothing, yes? I can understand your frustration, being used to be able to simply send a lot of people out scouting for the boss and then everyone runs to the boss and kills it.
Imagine, if you will, the frustration of being a one-person-active guild and doing guild bounties… Having to find it all by yourself, beg people on the server to help you kill it, and beg people on the server to help you find it (which most are not willing to do). Add to it the desire to NOT be part of a large guild system like ArenaNet wants you to be… And then add to it having to use a workaround just to get the Guild Bounty completed while in that one-person-active guild.
Trust me when I say that you should have no trouble with this. TIME is a very large guild, last I checked. It just takes patience. You have plenty of people to spread along the road, watching for her and waiting to activate her as soon as you can. You will be fine! And, eventually, they’ll get her fixed!
ArenaNet has always been really awesome when it comes to bug fixing. What people need to keep in mind, though, is that sometimes it can take a while to track down the precise line (or lines) of coding that are messing things up. From a programmer’s perspective, I can tell you that sometimes it can be extremely frustrating and it isn’t always a super-fast fix. So please have a little faith in them, and a little patience, they do a wonderful job. It just might not be an immediate fix as much as we hope it will be. They are constantly reading these boards, as they’ve said in the past, though they can’t always respond to every single post. That’s a lot of work!!! So I’m confident that they hear you and will get things resolved as soon as they can.
It’s all the guild bounties at this time, from what I’m hearing. Trillia herself is running into rocks, only to reappear briefly and then disappear again. On the bright side, two of us found a workaround for the Trillia Midwell bounty (see the workaround post here: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Guild-Bounty-WORK-AROUND-for-Trillia-Midwell).
It seems to be all bounties as well. You can find a work-around for the Trillia Midwell bounty here:

Hello everyone! So, we just figured out how to get Trillia Midwell activated if you happen to have that guild bounty. It’s a little bit of a pain, but it still gets you Trillia Midwell.
Trillia Midwell will appear at Vulture’s Waypoint, which is just north of the Stronghold of Ebonhawke. She will proceed to walk into some rocks there, disappearing from view for a while.
1. What you need to do is run down the road leading south, to about halfway towards the Stronghold. Stay there.
2. Keep renewing your bounties, cancelling if it isn’t Trillia.
3. She should reappear right about where you are. You must act quickly to trigger her. The reason for this is that she will disappear back into the rocks shortly after.
4. If for some reason you miss her there, move a little further south, to near the bottom of the ramp into Stronghold. She will reappear there, but it will not last long. So trigger her as soon as you can.
5. Once you trigger her, there is no problem with completing the bounty.
Good luck everyone!
its best if they would reply with an ETA at least a minimum time to get people off their backs. be it 1 hour or 1 day ETA.
people are trying to get ingame thinking that its gonna be fixed anytime now but its not.
lack of information is driving this madness of questions and posts imo. no information which is driving up anxiety and confusion.
They will give us an ETA when they actually have one, don’t worry. First, though, they have to locate where the problem lies. Then they have to figure out why it’s doing as it’s doing. Only then than they even begin to estimate an ETA.
On the bright side, at least the forums are working now!
Maybe I’m just making a stupid suggestion…but why not revert the changes made in the latest patch? At least we will be able to play and the devs won’t get more grief from us about a broken patch.
Simple… Because it isn’t quite the last patch that caused the problem. These errors that everyone have been getting have been going on for at least a full week before HOT released. While the latest patch might have caused it to worsen, it very likely did not cause the problem.

Here’s one of the Bug report threads: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Unable-to-connect-a-character/first#post5681187
Update! I finally was able to get in after a good while of trying…but then I tried to change maps. The game attempted to load the new map for five minutes and then told me,
The game client lost its connection to the server. Please wait a few minutes before restarting the client and trying again. (Code 7:0:0:990:101).
I have actually been getting that exact error since a week before the launch of HOT off and on. Only, it has never done it after taking 5 minutes to try to load a map before.
Likewise, I can select a character after waiting for a long time for it to load… But when it tries to load a map, I get..
Network Error
Please check your Internet connection and try again. (Code 1083:5:7:1595:101).
I am surfing the web right now and my firewall isn’t blocking the game.
System specs are:
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1
Processor: AMD FX-8350 Eight-Core Processor
Memory: 16 GB Ram
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980
I do have it set to PVE preference. Unless they’ve made Bounties easier, though, I’m likely still screwed. I’m not exactly the best at those things but I will attempt it again. That doesn’t answer my question about the PVE lock, though. Only ArenaNet can answer that, and I’m really hoping for an answer.
First and foremost, I want to say that I am really loving Heart of Thorns. I love the fact that you, ArenaNet, have placed Guild Halls into the game, and I would love to get one. But, you see, there’s a problem…
I recall you saying something about how smaller guilds would be able to gain favor just as easily as larger guilds, and with that statement I cheered. Oh boy, did I cheer. My guild consists of six people, though only two of us ever show up online anymore. I am not interested in expanding the number of people in my guild. Neither I nor the other active person has the time to do that (often we are working while we are playing). Additionally, he and I are often not online at the same time — it is rare that this happens anymore due to work schedules. But I want a guild hall because, eventually, my significant other will get the money for his computer and I’d like to be able to play with people I already know and like…and not have to join another guild just to get access to a guild hall.
The problem with obtaining a guild hall for us (and I have talked to others with this same problem) lies with Guild Favor and how to obtain it. I don’t PVP. I don’t WVW. I am sorry, but I absolutely dislike doing them both to the point that I cannot force myself to do it just for guild favor. I won’t. I am a PVE person, and I always have been. The other person in my guild, when he is even up to it, only does PVP/WVW with other guilds because he prefers to give that guild the credit since they are the ones he worked with to gain the goals. I do not hold this against him, nor do I expect him to represent my guild just to gain Favor. So that leaves PVE.
But…well… It seems that just plain ol’ PVE is not an option unless you “unlock it” (which i find absolutely ridiculous). And thus far, it looks like the only PVE option you -can- do to earn favor is a Bounty Hunt.
I think that you, ArenaNet, might have forgotten that not everyone has a large enough guild to do group content. I think that you might have forgotten that not everyone is willing to invite random strangers into their private guilds just to participate in Guild Bounties/Puzzles/etc. I think that you might have also forgotten that not everyone is a PvP-er or WvW-er (things that you -can- do without your guild support). I do understand that you are trying to encourage guilds to work together, and I do commend that. But…well… what about the rest of us?
So I have a question for you, ArenaNet. Why is it that you decided that a guild has to “unlock” PVE with Favor just to use it to gain favor? It’s frustrating, really. You have to find a way to earn favor so that you can unlock the only option you have to gain favor. You made a statement that little guilds would not be left out. And yet, I feel like we are left out. Please know that I am not whining. I just would like an answer, and to be heard, to let you know how I and some of the other guilds feel.
Thank you for your time.

So, I absolutely love the look of the Revenant, and I really like the system you put into place for the special, elite skill usage.
Forced Engagement though, didn’t appear to have any affect. I could be wrong… but I found myself ignoring the use of the skill as a result. Maybe that’s just me… I wasn’t a fan of the starting weapons given, though I did end up going dual wield because I found I liked the skills a little better than the two-hander. I’d definitely use a different weapon in-game if I had a choice.
I really, really, really dislike how much of a maze the map is, though. I’m sorry, but it’s absolutely terrible. I can’t stand going to Dry Top because of its layout… The layout on this map is much worse. While I absolutely love the scenery, I found myself constantly confused about where I was supposed to go for an event, and sometimes even where the next step took place (especially that quest where you’re shooting endless mortars and killing endless mordrem in an effort to kill some vine or other; I don’t know the name of the quest though). Before anyone asks, the answer is NO: I didn’t try hang gliding to get around easier. By the time it trained up and I gained the level required for it, it decided to not work despite doing everything I should be doing to make it work. And then the beta ended.
Despite the frustration, I still had fun doing events, and I still love the look of the Revenant. Please keep the look and change the maps!
