I don’t know how active it is during the day cause I work M-F til 5pm eastern but each weeknight is usually pretty active. Most people seem to play during all times on weekends and we will do dungeons/fractals at server reset.

Glad I managed to get my tormented longbow skin for Dragonhunter spec last night. Figured it won’t be as popular as all the other DH running around with Azureflame

Triple Velocity of Blackgate is recruiting new and experienced players that focus primarily on PvE.

TVB was created before the megaserver patch that allowed members to participate in guild missions without having to guest to BG. Since that patch, TVB now recruits players no matter what server you play on.

REP policy in TVB is 100% while doing PvE. We do no require you to rep if you are participating in PvP or WvW with your guild affiliated to that style of play.

We have TS3 for voice comms and also a guild website. The guild currently has just over 100 members and is fully upgraded.

What we focus on in TVB:

• Fractals – All levels!
• Dungeons – Whether you want to learn speed groups or casual, we will teach you any path you want to learn
• Guild missions – Sunday’s at 9pm Eastern
• Gear & Builds – We have multiple players with great knowledge of all the classes. We can help you pick the right build and gear for your playstyle whether it’s casual or elite.
• World Boss – We have the timers on our guild website. At this current moment, we do not have any officer or leaders dedicated to running a boss train. As my schedule settles during the summer, I may take this up. See below for more details.
• Guild raffle – We try to have a fun guild raffle after missions. Items can value anywhere from 5g to 500g. Guildies will often donate and all donations go towards the raffle. 0% of the donations go towards the pockets of any players in the guild. On large turn outs – I will show the numbers rolled live on my twitch channel.

What we are looking for:
Any and all mature players are welcome to join TVB. If you’re rude and don’t care to be helpful than this guild is probably not for you. Also, most players are 21-35 in age.

Positions needing filled:
Right now we have 2 active leaders. 1 on hiatus. A handful of officers and a few senior members with a bunch of regular members. That said, we are looking for people with in-depth knowledge of the game that would like to fill these roles. You will start off as a member and by participating with the guild and displaying to the leaders that you know what you’re doing in the game, you will move up in the ranking system.

Dragonhunter is definitely an ugly name (although I’m French, and the name sounds cool in French)
But the worst part is that it doesn’t make ANY sense !

It just seems to be coming out of nowhere.
What’s the actual link between the theme of this character, his abilities, and his name ? Any explanation I can find seems totally far-fetched.
It seems like they wanted to put a “dragonhunter” somewhere, so they randomly gave the name to the guardian spec, because (HOPEFULLY) they already had better names for the others…
And of course it doesn’t fit into the lore… I’m curious to hear what WoodenPotatoes will say about that.
Combine that with the fact that we are ALL dragonhunters to some extent, and then you have the perfectly failed spec name.

And if you feel like it’s not a bad name for this spec , just do the thing in reverse and try to imagine how you would design a Dragonhunter (without being a Guardian spec). You will certainly think about something that has nothing to do with this character, aside from the heavy armor.

It feels like a placeholder name they kept because they think it sounds cool, although it makes no sense.

I feel the same way. As a player that mains and loves guardian above all classes, I woke up excited to hear about the specialization. The changes are cool and exciting, but when I read the name.. All I thought was WTF??

I’m pretty excited about the changes personally.

But, I have never been so let down by a name. Mesmer to chronomancer sounds bad kitten . But dragonhunter isn’t even slightly cool. I wouldn’t even wear it as a title.

Are the new boons exclusive to revenant or will other classes have them worked into current skills? Maybe classes will get them in their spec?

If you read the interview carefully, it says other professions will have access to the new boons and conditions but only through Specialization(the wording used is unclear, but seems to mean vanilla version of classes do not gain access to said boons and conditions).

I feel bad for the Charr constantly working on the same part of one of the bridges. He’s even turned to using the side of his hammer out of sheer boredom.

I’m not sure if it’s the best fit but our guild is looking for players of your caliber. We currently have 150+ members and are 100% rep PvE. We do not require rep if you are in WvW or PvP with a guild that is focused in those areas. Only require rep in PvE.

We have a strong small core of players that are leaders/officers in the guild with great knowledge of everything PvE. We can do lvl 50 fractals, speed run dungeons, world bosses, you name it in PvE and we can do it. The core people are 25+ years old. We run dungeons nightly and use TS3 for voice comms. Our guild missions are friday nights at 9pm eastern.

One of our officers came to us in a similar situation as you – mainly WvW and knows it all really well. He has been a great addition to the guild and he enjoys what we’ve been able to show him PvE wise as well. If you have any questions feel free to message me on the forums or in game after 6pm eastern on weekdays and anytime on weekends.

Hi Forsaken!

I believe my guild is the perfect fit for what you’re looking for. We are 100% rep PvE. While we do have many players that PvP for fun, it is not required to rep if they are PvPing or WvWing with a guild focused in that area of the game. We have 100+ members with many being very casual but we are looking to increase the core of the guild with serious players that can play hardcore and do dungeon speed runs and high level fractals. We enjoy partying up and conquering all the dungeon paths in a timely manner in 1 sitting. The “core” or leaders of the guild are 25+ years old and are very chill.

We do guild missions every friday night at 9 eastern. Make ups on sunday if needed.

I also like to stream my game play. However, I run a virtual audio cable program so TS3 chat isn’t going to stream. I know our guys won’t really care, it’s up to you if you want chat being streamed.

Hey Everyone!

I’m one of the guild leaders for TVB and we are currently looking for more players. As of right now we have about 50 members who actively play and about another 50-80 that are real casual and play whenever.

I’ll start first with who we are. TVB is a guild designed to help any player in the PVE Realm of the game. Whether you are brand new to the game or been around for a while, we can help you improve. Between the 3 leaders and the multiple officers in the guild, 99% of your questions can be answered effectively.

What we are looking for:
Currently, we are looking for both new and experienced players. We have about 7 “core” players who can effectively speed run every dungeon and has extensive knowledge of all dungeons and fractals. We are looking for more experienced players to increase this number so that we always have a full guild party when going on dungeon tours/fractals etc etc..

We are always looking for new players as well that are looking to develop and gain knowledge of the game. I am a previous dungeon mentor in the Dungeon Mentoring [noob] guild and am very willing to teach anyone who wants to learn how to do any dungeon path.

TVB is 100% rep PvE. We have members who are knowledgeable in PvP and WvW but since we are a megaserver guild, we do not have nights that we WvW as a guild. However, any questions you have regarding PvP or WvW can be answered. Since we are 100% rep PvE and do not provide WvW, we do not require you to rep if you are in WvW or PvP with a guild that is focused in those areas.

TVB is fully upgraded and does missions on friday nights. A very generous raffle follows the missions. To participate in raffle, you have to attend the missions.

I flew thru the story and got all the achievements much much faster this story.. maybe same for you but it wasn’t for me. Felt really short.

Yes Khani – you get a key per alt you run it on.

This story is incredibly short compared to the last one so I’m sure they removed that option to get the glove this time to help keep SW area active.

I used 50 MF stones doing 50 flushes with 3 rares + 1 stone..

ended up with Rodgort’s flame and the Bard. Not the precursors I was going for but hey, not bad for 50 flushes right?

I believe support will help you out. Hopefully they do

I had a guild mate transmutate his Bard which removed it’s ability to become a legendary. He filed a ticket and they gave him his Bard back.

This started happening to me yesterday as well.

Approx 8 AM eastern I bought 140 rares no problem to throw in the forge. After great success (2 precursors!!), I decided around noon to buy more and keep on chugging along with the toilet. However, I was getting partial success when trying to buy stacks. Did something get changed? It was very aggravating.
