Hello Phathoms!

The guild I represent might be a great place for you. We are a fairly large gaming community, and the GW2 section is primarily PvE focused. We have a lot of NA members, so this is our primary time slot – 6pm till 4am EST.

MadCast is a gaming community that is bigger than GW2, but we are working on growing our GW2 sector right now. You can check out our website at http://www.madcastgaming.com/ips/forums.
I especially suggest you read through the forums some to get a feel for what we are all about! Here are some points you may find attractive about MadCast:

  • We have a mature community. While MadCast has no specific age requirements we do have high expectations for maturity. You will find kind, patient people and no drama. The vast majority of our members are over 18 (especially in GW2). Most of our GW2 members are older with careers, and many have families and children.
  • We are a serious community with casual gameplay. In other words, the main expectations we have for members revolves around positive contribution to the community and not on a packed GW2 schedule attendance. If you are active in the forums and show up to a few events a week, that is good enough for us. Additionally, because we are casual our community is made out of all levels of players. We have many very new players, some new to gaming in general, and our environment is built on kindness and helpfulness. People will be happy to answer your questions and guide you through things no matter how basic or advanced.
  • We have a super awesome, active TeamSpeak group. We enforce strict rules of respectfulness and tolerance among our players, making it a safe friendly place for everyone. People of all types feel comfortable joining in the conversation and making new friends.
  • Our community is bigger than in-game. We have a website with a lot of activity and heavy forum use. This is a huge asset because we have people who play all kinds of games over at MadCast, and the forums really serve as the uniting factor among people.

If you check out our website, you will see information about becoming a Full Member of MadCast. This is not something you need to do right away. Our guild welcomes ‘Associate’ Members, meaning we will add you to the guild, you are free to use our TeamSpeak and join our Forums, but you do not have complete access rights for inviting people to the guild yourself, or accessing certain Full Member parts of our forum.

This is a good way to find out if MadCast is the right fit for you before applying. In the long run, to gain any ranking position, we require people to be an official MadCast Full Member.

If you want to, I’d love to invite you to join us and meet some of our members. I would encourage you to join us in our TeamSpeak (you can find information about that here: http://www.madcastgaming.com/ips/forum/4-new-to-madcast/). Alternatively, you can private message me in game, and I would be happy to add you in to one of our parties.

If you have any questions you can message me in game, post here, or join our forums and ask there. Good luck finding a place for you!

Hello Erratic!

Although you are on Fort Aspenwood, with the guest feature you can always do PvE and PvP with other servers, at any time! With this in mind, the guild I represent might be great for you, we are pretty casual, and focus primarily on PvE content. Majority of our members are in NA so we are very active between 6pm-4am EST. We do have members that play outside of these times though.

Hello Shadow!

It is fantastic to see returning players and I think the guild I represent would be a great fit for you. We are a NA guild based on Sanctum of Rall, primarily PvE focused but we do occasionally step into WvW and PvP. I realize you are Aussie, as am I and from my normal play time, there are always people online at our times … some of which might enjoy your long walks on the beach

Alternatively, you can private message me in game, and I would be happy to add you in to one of our parties.

http://www.madcastgaming.com/ – Gaming Together for the Better

Welcome:
MadCast Gaming will be conducting a full round of guild missions every Wednesday night at 10PM EST. Groups for these guild missions will start forming around 9:30PM so we can kick off at 10PM. We are welcoming all members of the community who are in need of guild commendations; we have at least 20 members that participate each week.

We also have a teamspeak 3 server which can be accessed by all members who join for guild missions and encourage you to join us there for some extra fun. If you want to join us for guild missions, you can reply here, or send an in game message to Daghet.8932.

About MadCast:
In 2007, MadCast was founded on two basic principles. It would be a gaming community that would be extend beyond a single game, and it would be a place that exemplifies what it means to be a community.

We choose games to support based on the interests of our community. MadCast puts time and effort into making your gaming experience all it can be. The community selects Admins that display great leadership qualities, we host our own servers for (other) officially supported games, and have niches for everyone from the casual to the competitive. Admins host events on a nightly basis and there’s always something to do and someone to play with. If you are after more information on MadCast Gaming, feel free to visit our website, or our recruitment page:

We focus mainly on PvE content, with guild missions scheduled at least once a week, we also keep up to date with the living story, and step into PvP and WvW on occasions. You would be able to do all the content with us apart form WvW, but as you didn’t specifically mention this in your post, it shouldn’t be a problem.

Hello McHiggles!

I hope you do decide to return to GW2, now is the perfect time, the new living story content is one of the best I’ve seen to date!

Although the guild I represent is not a ‘hardcore’ dungeon or fractal guild, we do run quite often, and have some higher fractal level runners. We are based on Sanctum of Rall, and are always open to new players, helping them wherever we can.
