Do you think the Druid (as a healer) won’t be good enough/will be replaces after the PoF for raids and t4 fractal?

Maybe make a huge update, chane the name.. making it “World of Tyria” or “The Guild Wars”, change the system..

The answer is no, also to answer on your questions:

1. Yes, the only issue i ever had was party group portraits flickering, that is already fixed.
2. No, unless your graphics card were much older model such as 5000 or 6000 series.

If you plan to play other graphically intensive games that is your choice to make if its worth it or not.

But that’s 2012. Now is 2016. From what I do know is, this game benefits more from CPU performance more than GPU performance. This is true when considering my desktop versus my laptop. My desktop has the following stats:

Intel Core i7 4790K @4.5 GHz
Nvidia MSI GTX 980 Ti Lightning @1516 / 8002 (x4) MHz (core / memory clock)

My laptop has:

Intel Core i7 4510U @2.8 GHz boost during GW2.
Nvidia 840M

Looking at the difference between the 980 Ti versus the 840M, huge difference. And yet the game runs fine on both setups. Well I would say fine, until a Windows update killed the game on my laptop. :U

GPU performance helps in boss battles, otherwise you’re better off shopping for a more powerful CPU. Then again you did mention i5-6600K @4.4~4.6 GHz.

If you still want to do it, consider if it’s better to get a more powerful card later, or invest now in a second card. There are problems with having a second card, so just weigh that up. Youtube the pros and cons of Crossfire and SLI.

Before getting the R9 270, I had the intel’s gpu. The intel’s gave me Low~Med FHD gaming on 30 FPS+-, while the R9 270 gives me on High FHD 30 FPS…
More powerful card will be Geforce X 80 TI, but for now I stick with it.

1.Will the game support 2 gpus (Crossfire) without any bugs\problems?
my current one is R9 270, playing of FHD.

its been like this since 6 months ago, no trading post and no gem store, on three different computers, I get the same error.

So from what I understand, more hz for this game specific won’t change anything serious. I do want to know if that’s right to buy a IPS 60Hz panel with FreeSync support for the game, because right now I have an old Samsung’s TV 720p instead of a monitor and my eyes “get burned” (eyes become ‘dry’) even with low brightness. The addition reason for buying a new monitor is for “eyecare” features which are offered with some panels (or that’s a gimmick)

Any more opinions? someone had the same situation and gained experience in this matter?

For now I have a big problem with choosing a monitor… there are so many different times like TN, IPS, LCD, LED, 60HZ, 120HZ, 144HZ, FreeSync, Gsynce and etc…

For this game, what should I go for/focus on?
an IPS screen, or 144Hz? (FHD, 22~24 inches)

I found out my computer can’t hold the new maps of ‘Magumma’ (so as Dry Top),
so I decided to build a new computer. My main question is:
Should I go for i5-6600K or pay more money for i7-6700K? is there a big different between those two? I mean, of course the i7 will increase the FPS, the question is, will it be worth it? (even with OC)

My pc (tablet) comes with 2GB ram. Using 64bit system will take 25% more usage of the ram. Not worth it

I had to format the pc, after many tries and guides about fixing the launcher bug (Was stuck on 0kb/s download…)

Anyway, I installed windows 10 32bit with all the drivers, and after I downloaded the launcher, when I try to log in, nothing happens (only the circle symbol) and that’s it. Checked firewall, anti virus, UAC, Internet, Storage and so on…

Ferocity major doesn’t exist yet.

WvW and PvE have extremely different requirements, so you should think carefully about what WvW gear you want.

So if I focus on wvw, which gear do I need?

Of course you dont carry a longbow as your first and second setup. You carry a second one in your inventory to swap to once bloodlust stacks are full. (Remember to have the bloodlust sigil on your second weaponset aswell in order to keep those stacks)
Second weapon is a GS for blocks, leaps or burst.

I recommend trying the cripple on crit sigil instead of Air to keep the enemy in range in case they run.

Fights end within 10 seconds at most. Make sure the enemy NEVER sees you comming.
If its not a complete beginner, a prepared enemy leads to your death mostly. If he is not prepared he dies in a second. 7-9k+ AA opener hit, 4k consitent AA crits. 15-20k RF within 1-2 seconds.

Your job is to circle around zergs in a big radius and snipe unaware people. Roaming is a no-go. Melee zerging, too.

Edit: Dont be one of those burster ranger that open up with RF. You loose huge burst potential. Only use RF as your first skill if the enemy has aegis on him.
Otherwise pop your 2 damage signets -> 1 AA then RF

Which set of gear should I go for, full Power stats as possible or Precision as possible for PVE/WVW?

So after thinking for a long time to choose a character, I chose a ranger. I realized they were great for PVP (if you play like pro) and PVE.
I wanted to know what build is best to make(for pvp and pve), which skills should I go for, and whether there is a problem of joining groups(party) in the game as ranger.

Lets say it in a different way…
Which one the best for pvp, that every party will try to add them, that people with think twice before getting close to that class.

Unless you have a different school/work schedule compared to the average person, it’s likely that the EU servers will have more activity during the time you play compared to NA servers where people will get on later. When I play during NA afternoon (EU evening/night), there aren’t nearly as many people on compared to NA evening/night. I think that’s definitely something you want to keep in mind. Might as well pick EU server for more people and less lag.

If you happen to play very late at night, then NA will be a good choice.

I’m from the UK and since release I played on an NA server until about a month ago when I just got fed up with the lag (I was getting around 300 ping at times) and moved to an EU server, On the EU server my ping stays below 50 which is really good, No lag whatsoever, The only big difference between the NA and EU apart from lag is american’s tend to be slightly more chatty, To me it feels like NA players play gw2 more for the social experience first and the game itself second and EU players seem to be the opposite and tend to focus more on the game itself first and the social aspect second. But of course that’s not set in stone there are exceptions to this on both sides. This is just what I have noticed the most since switching to the EU server. A great thing I have seen on the european server are the music instrument performers who are really good and play for sometimes up to an hour with crowds gathered around, I very rarely seen things like that on the NA servers. Also dungeons groups on the NA server tend to be a bit more elitist and kick you if you are not very good. I’m yet to see that on the EU server. But overall people on both servers seem to be really nice.

1) I’m gonna assume you mean sPvP on this one and unfortunately I don’t know the answer. There is an International Tournament coming up. Whoever wins that should answer your question.
2) I’ve played a bit on an NA server. Wasn’t too bad to be honest so you should be fine.
3) Nope. WvW is restricted to the servers in your region http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/World_versus_World
4) It will be in whatever you set your region to when you bought the game (so most likely euros)
5) There have been a few issues recently but they come from a third party and aren’t really to do with Anets servers.
6) Your choice really. In PvE it won’t really matter too much due to the megaserver system. In WvW Very High may mean slightly longer queues to get to the map you want.
7) You can only change for free if you have no characters on your account. Otherwise you will be charged the cost in gems to transfer to that server.

Anyway, after I have logged in the game for the first time, I found out there are several servers that you can choose: eu or na, high or very high or full. I want the server with the highest population and the top pro players.

I am from europe by the way.

I have a few questions before I choose a server:
1)Which region has the best players(PVP)?
2)I used to play World of Warcraft – NA version, and I barely had lags, so it was cool.
Will I get many lags if I play in NA servers from europe?
3)Is wvw – eu vs na servers?
4)If I play in na server, the charge for buying gems and etc, would be in $ or euro?
5)I saw some posts of players(from eu) who claim that in eu servers have the same
laggy problem, like in na servers, is that true?
6)As a new player, should I go to the very high population or the high/medium one?
7)If I have chosen a na server already, will I be able to change to eu server without any charge?
