Well technically speaking an algorithm is a step by step process to solve a problem. There are many types of algorithms categories on the general way you go about solving a problem.

What you have here is actually an equation. I guess it’s pre-cal because I don’t see any integration or derivatives.

First GvGvG ever!!!!!!!!!!!! was so much fun.

I’ll take standing in a line and shooting another group of exactly equal size (also in a line) with muskets any day, over that boring, unpredictable and dynamic way.

This is happening for me too. I get lag, everything freezes and then everyone runs around in super speed for a second.

Usually win in about 10 mins I get DC’d when i get lag and everything freezes again.

I think most of this can be fixed by just making arrow carts not able to damage most siege. Then if they are trebbing you, you can get catapults inside the min treb shot range.

There should be a counter to anything that the enemy does or can do

Commander’s options for small detailed tactics (i.e. build this here to counter that), are even smaller then they were. Arrow carts for semi-close range, Trebs for farther away. There is nothing that is a rock-paper-scissor counter to this and it makes taking a keep boring, removes more skill from defending and assualting.

They need to reward smaller groups more, and big zergs less. One way is to have a set amount of xp per objective. If 5 people take a keep by themselves they should get a crazy amount of xp. If 80 people take a keep they should get just barely more than nothing.

They should buff server points/world xp/etc to being in the open field, protecting/attacking supply lines. Buff the guards and the dolyak health. Make it fun and a challenge to take it and/or defend it.

Make supply in keeps (maybe towers) to not allow players to pick it up. Instead make it something you can ‘buy’ or activate via an npc for the workers to do. So that there is a max amount supply that can go into rebuilding walls gates. Or make them un-repairable when the camp is under attack/enemy in the vacinity.

Expand the siege cap to limit the number of arrow carts that can be placed in any 2000 yd range.

Expand the siege cap to limit the number of siege that can be built in any 30/60 or 120 min interval in a BL/Keep/Tower/etc.

These things may or may not be fun for people but what do i know, I’m just a programmer.

Thanks kind sir. It was a great night. The Agg/DIS/BT fight at the south camp was my favorite of the night. Going to make a single video for that, and a couple other videos from other times.

Although I played aweful in several of the fights, it was such an amazing night.

Really excited about a several month match up with these servers.

I think if a group of 5 can wipe 50 or 60 without an aoe cap, then they deserved to get wiped. I don’t see how a good group of 30 with good composition can ever wipe to a group with 5 with no aoe cap.

Please put the emphasis on skill rather then numbers.

This would of course make Guardians and Warriors obsolete, unless the skills were reworked to include at least some aoe.

Another option is to damage cap it. For instance it will hit every person in the aoe, 5 ppl will take 1000 dmg each, 10 ppl will take 500 dmg each… etc

Some amazing fights in just 2 nights. The fight that stands out for me is the one at the North Supply Camp, was a great and very long fight. Good strats and coordination on both sides.

I have been a part of unlimited since shortly after BWE #3. I have never had such a great time playing any video game with any group. I usually just read the forums, but I wanted to explain what happened at the Bay.

There was a sizeable force (from FA) already attacking the south gate. So we went to the North East gate and started attacking it. We broke in just before a 20ish group of TC destroyed our cata’s and rams. We tried to fight them off once we were inside the outer wall but we got wiped, with the exception of our Mesmer. Our mesmer was able to avoid detection and get a portal up at the south gate, which we used to clear siege of the walls to help the other FA group break through the south gate. After that the north inner gate was seiged and destroyed.

No exploit was used, we had 2 rams and a 1 cata break through another outer gate to get the mesmer inside.
