Please do not change the dreamer and or the quip! I love them as they are and i would suggest you add in a weapon sound slider in there instead.

An option to lower the volume, or disable weapon sounds entirely is a far better option then changing sounds to weapons that have been in the game since forever.

Yeah it is way way overpowered, and completely shuts down melee, my scrapper is pretty useless now which is a shame, please fix this poison trail because, there’s a difference between hard and utterly frustrating for no reason.

Fractals: Toxic Trails: Enemies leave a trail of toxic sludge behind them as they move around.

Please hit this with the nerf bat of hell, melee is useless really.

So far the rest feels pretty awesome.

I want to suggest that we have an option to turn of mastery progression for the tyria mastery track and the reason is, hero points. Right now i need 2.4 million xp on any of my lvl 80 characters to get a hero point from filling up the bar, this is holding back my progression into the specializations of those characters quite a bit, Yes i could go hunt for hero points out in the map but it is rather slow and combining that with not getting hero points untill a mastery level is filled is really slow. I made a second engi to go scrapper a week before hot launch, right now she is lvl 80 but lacking hero points, which is understandable but the progress to get more in a semi decent time is as stated, slow.

So could we have an option to turn it of and be regular lvl 80’s again?

This seems to be fixed now, but i didnt see it in the patch notes, in any case, i could invite people again while my tag was up, lets hope it stays fixed.

I would like to report the following bug.

When i have my tag up, i lose the option to rightclick on someone’s name and inviting them to my party, i can still invite people but only if i type in their character name manually, which is sometimes impossible if i dont have a certain letter type on my keyboard. The option to join a previous party is also gone and i really want this fixed as it is driving me nuts.

I am a fairly respected and known Tequatl commander for the daily reset in europe, i get multiple requests every day to taxi people in and in an effort to keep my followers playing with me i have to chore through many char names, some of which, being europeans are just not that easy to spell when you are in a hurry to get people in the map.

This issue has been going on for weeks, i know you are busy with all kinds of things, but i just want to report it and hope it gets fixed as soon as you can.

Yeah this event is just not worth the effort, i dont even know why this got released in this state, no loot, some skins and some items that im not even sure what they do.

This event is grindy as hell, and for what reason?

I remember arenanet saying “We just dont want people to grind”

This event just isnt right, scarletts invasion was utter madness with fun enemies and yeah people eventually went there to massive loot the events but, it was still fun and the chaos was great, this though, it is just an event that costs me money with the constant teleporting around for no reward. im not interested at what is available to get with the blooms.

Please have mobs drop loot from the whole loot table and let us atleast feel we make some money of the effort that feels practically useless.

Tequatl Timings

So since the update the timings for tequatl’s spawns and batteries seem way off.

At 14:00 minutes remaining the timings for spawns checks out, but then at 12:30 the mob spawns were off by a few seconds, and again at 11:00 minutes, they were 10 seconds later.

But then the battery defense came, that seemed odd as well, i noticed the timer remained on 0 seconds remaining for a bit longer, but we made the first pass, then the second timer jumped back a few seconds just as we were heading back, causing North to fail the charge and the map wiping, thankfully we had time enough to recover but on the 3rd defense stage the countdown timer literally stayed on 0 seconds for almost 5 seconds, if we pulled out to soon we would have failed the event. At first i thought it was my fault on failing the north defense, i was commanding the team there, but many others noticed the jump in time, and this needs to be looked at.

I plan to do the late night tequatl and i will inform people to watch out on the batteries, as it seems that some things are just not going well with the event chain and i would like to see this fixed.

I’d rather they just add a “mute minis” option for people who don’t like to hear the minis than change the sound effects for those particular minis specifically.

That would be a great option to have as well.

Okay clearly one of the audio designers thought it would be a good idea to make this mini pet annoying as hell with its repeated audio thingy it does and i would like to keep playing the game with sound, but at this rate with all the annoying sound things it is becoming less enjoyable for me to play guild wars.

Ive submitted earlier threads about annoying sounds but they ironically fell on deaf ears again, and now that section of the forum is just gone, so i will post it here.

These 2 minis are the worst though and i wish, really really wish the audio team would take note and try to imagine hearing those minis all day long.

Now, i know people would probably say, dont play with sound, well yeah maybe some do, but i cant play without sound, it just instantly becomes less of a game, but i just want sound and production designers to think about their creations and make things less annoying.

Bow string bug in first person mode

So it appears that the bow string on a ranger while in first person mode can litterally dance in front of you when you move around, and sometimes dissapears just after shooting the bow and having it return on the players back.

I recorded and edited 4 intances of Tequatl and put them nicely in one video, i did speed up some footage to line up with tequatl flying away the first time.

The sound is from the top left video, didnt want to make a big mess of it.

So as more and more players get this backpack, could we please have an option that would mute the thing from everyone, or that the player wearing his backpack only hears it and not everyone else. The quotes from it are clever but 10+ of the same voices speaking through eachother is quite frankly a bit rediculous, not to mention immersion breaking for me atleast.

Mute the Mini Spooky Ghost?

So this new mini makes a sound every 5 seconds it does its twirling animation and it is hugely repetitive and thus gets annoying really fast while in towns and waiting for big bosses like Tequatl. I dont know why the sound design team thought that was a good idea but i and many other players would really appreciate it if the mini was to be muted.

Suggestion: First Person Camera

The weird thing is that during the early beta stage first person camera worked and just like guild wars 1 holding shift while pressing print screen did hide the hud for the screenshot. as to why they got rid of both i will never understand.

Im having this issue as well, quite bizarre since i was selling stuff just a few hours ago, ive relogged in about 5 times, deleted the stuff in the temp folder and restarted my pc, to no avail, please sort this asap.
