Legion of Doom is a PvE guild on the NA servers. We are looking for active members that want to go for raids but also enjoy a friendly, social and casually hardcore gaming environment. Primary timezones are for NA.
Our guild hall is lvl 65 with all upgrades built.
We are the only guild to be in the first 5 guild clears for all three raid wings.
Applicants must have a minimum of 2 classes of separate weight classes geared with the following minimum requirements:
-Ascended Armor
-Ascended Trinkets
-Ascended weapons
-Have completed all of Forsaken Thicket Raid at least once.
Guild Repping Policy:
You’re expected to be repping us while doing any activities with guild mates. Outside of that, repping doesn’t matter. We do expect to be your primary raid guild.
Voice Communications:
TeamSpeak 3 is a requirement and an integral part of becoming an active member of the guild.

How are raiders toxic by wanting a challenge? This game was created for casual players, ANet released content that’s “hardcore” and all these casual players are all up in arms over raids being inaccessible.

Well, the open world content represents about 95% of GW2. At least this was the argument the raiders used when the casuals complained about raids.
And you just stated that you are not interested in the 95% of the GW2. But you have the guts to demand a lot of things :-))

I’m not interested in being a casual…
I’m a raider and I want more raids. I want harder mechanics and longer boss fights.
Open world content requires a mindless zerg. I don’t want to spend my time running in a circle auto attacking, I want a challenge. If I wanted a casual game, I would be playing farmville.
All I want is:
Harder boss fights
Harder mechanics
More exclusivity
More raid gated equipment
More tears

Did I ever say that? All I said was the current raids are too easy. Learn the mechanics and that’s it (assuming you’re running optimal builds and doing the optimal rotation.

So was the harpy feather event/npc removed? Forager hitkiti is still there but, the event never starts now. We can still buy other stealth consumables so I assume this is a bug?
That was one of the fights where anet claims it can be done in exotic gear. I hope you realize, the guilds that have all posted videos of beating it have players that are better than uncoordinated groups.
I do hope they make it harder so my team can have more fun figuring the most optimized group comp.
Now forgive me if this has been suggested before (not going to read 5 pages). Make engis stationary when casting turrets to prevent mid-air turrets. Or have them self-destruct after 1500 range.
I don’t get why people are complaining about Leon skill clicking. If you feel that he isn’t being as effecient as he can be, feel free to beat their time because clearly he’s not efficient and another efficient ele should make the run faster.

This sounds like an amazing idea! Let us devalue a title that was intended to be given to players who created two of the same legendary (like two incinerators on a thief) by polluting the title with one of the most commonly obtained legendary in the game!
Did you not read my post? I made an eternity and then a sunrise. I created 2 of the same greatswords, just one of them is combined with twilight.
So some people like me made eternity then made a sunrise or twilight afterwards. Why can’t we get the title from Historian Dozza? It doesn’t make sense, eternity is essentially both of the greatswords combined and eternity itself should grant the title.
Just don’t make a forum post about people AC zoom hacking your treb down or if people get into your spawn to kill repair agents/troll after getting that treb down.
You would actually be amazed by what you see from DR guild. They tend to emote spam also.
But I really can’t wait till all the bandwagons leave sbi for dragon brand or some other server yet again. Man sbi will whine about zergs so much.

It’s hard to ask for respect when you emote spam after zerging us down. You can also whisper me who sent you that whisper and I will take care of it. I personally didn’t take part of it but, I wouldn’t want Dr doing it.
DR, TE and BAEST, all tho you’re giving us exciting fights, i’m sort of disappointed that all 3 of you need to group just to take us and WFD when you outnumber us like crazy.. >< Keep em coming tho
After the kitteny crap at SoR hills I was getting ready to give up on all of SBI. ( seriously DR, you went out of your way to save SoR hills, are going to xfer there tomorrow?)
But then Abys charged the tower as quaggans and restored my faith that there is some awesome people on SBI.
there should be a rule of thumb – when dealing with trolls in game, always contact someone on that server whom you know and trust. in this example, you could have tried to talk to Choo commanders or whoever you were organizing it with. and have them try to deal with the trolls. i know, we all have bad apples.
it’s mentioned the “troll” ran back into the crowd, and we all know how cleave and AoE works in the game.. to go after that one troll in a crowd, who were simply spectating, could hardly be the best solution to the situation, no? not saying talking to Choo or better yet, the commadners from HIRE, would have magically fixed the problem.. but at least, you wouldn’t “accidentally” kitten off other people there who only expected good fights and a good show.

I’ve spoked to Choo and they spoke to them but they continued doing what they were doing. I had no way of contacting anyone on SoR outside of who I was talking to set up the GvG rounds.
Please understand I am referring to the 2 guilds that repeatedly ran us over for just watching. Not wanting to get an infraction I used SBI instead of those specific guild names, we’re not so petty as to hold you all responsible for the actions of those 2.
Some of your server mates were trolling(even spike building ballistas during matches) the GvG and quickly returning to the crowd. Our intention was to wipe the trolls. If you got caught in the crossfire then it was an accident. Sorry.
We were the ones that spike built the ballista after you wiped us 3 times for no reason. Only HIRE had interfered with your spectators (not the match) prior to that point and they did for so the same reason we did, you wiped them for no reason as well.
There were no trolls from SoR there, you guys were the ones being disrespectful. I hope in the future you can take losing a little more gracefully and not point fingers at innocent players just wanting to watch what was otherwise a good GvG.
Someone from HIRE were throwing nades on us midfight, someone built a treb at the south camp and then a HIRE ran in to put half of us in combat. You tell me who’s the trolls. I was the one that said lets kill them. We’re in no way saying that we lost cause of you guys but, when we’re GvG’ing we expect respect from everyone on the field. You can ask Choo, we accepted every loss we got handed to us. I’m sorry you got caught, I sincerely apologize to anyone that we killed for no reason. I hate people trolling GvGs.
I don’t know why anyone is against this. What harm can this do to you, if anet gave us a race change? I don’t want to make a new character because of soulbound skins, commander tag and the fractal back. Even if I made a new character, I would refuse to help anyone in low level zones so, getting us to play old content again is a worthless argument. A lot of us only WvW so, leveling a new char is a hassle. In other words, we don’t care about the lore/story if it bugs out. We just want a race change and reset the story if it’s needed (which no one will probably complete).
Anet should consider resetting everyone’s abilities whenever a new one is added or give us a way to reset it already! It’s a real tease when you keep throwing in new abilities which we can’t add unless you don’t add any ability.
I made 60+ badges off of that moment from DB and JQ. I was one of the guys on the AC just raining hell. It was crazy.
I’m sure you enjoyed it. We were just trying to claw our way through JQ to get to our tower before you guys could cap it. We failed. >.<

It was a crazy turn of events. You’d think that JQ would back off but then we just saw a sea of red attacking each other so we took advantage. You guys came back strong when you recapped the tower though. Anyway time to sleep. GL everyone!
