Thanks Arenanet! for the response, kinda wish it had been a few hours earlier tho. Three hours wasted, repair bills and consumables only to receive nothing from the final boss. This doesn’t inspire people to try new content when its released, for at least several days after releasing. I do hope you find a way to set right those who were inconvenienced by this tho.

Had this happen to me earlier today, got pulled under to the watery grave at the end(i got the sunken treasure achievement) and killed by a shark resulting in having to WP and run back, only to find that i didn’t receive a dragon chest.

I did receive the 3 small chests for 25, 50 and 75%, but also i didnt have the daily update for participating in the Tequatl fight or the “Slaughter in the Swamp” achievement. So apparently i didnt attend the fight?

I agree!, picked mine up a day ago from a buy order(had the order down for about 3 weeks), I thought it would be perfect for when I ran fotm with my friends and guild. Instead of being useful when I pull it out I find it only works for me, I end up feeling like a right prat.

Personally I wont be using it any more in dungeons, as it doesn’t help the party and makes the owner look selfish(could use several other words here). for the cost and scarcity of the item it would be great if they got changed so everyone can use them.

Just tested, it doesn’t appear on the list of items to place in the forge.

Has anyone tested to see if the “Versatile Simple Infusion” will go into an item with a Utility Infusion slot?

I don’t see how anyone could afford an amulet to perform this test, unless there’s another way to get the amulet that I am not aware of yet.

Yes it is possible, just tested with my ascended Triforge Pendant.

Yup, had mine die before it could even activate on 10 today…dont want to think about 26 and 30 runs. Worst thing is they still have the 60 second cool down.

Had this happen with a multiserver(gw2lfg) pug group for AC exp. We had just got to howler when the party leader leaves the group kicking us all out. It would be nice for a fail-safe or at least a log of who you have been in a party with recently, so we can make a note not to party with them if they are are trolling.

I find the return on the mystic forge assuming you don’t get a precursor(quite a safe bet for most), is around 60-70% of the value of the items that you put in(also assuming you don’t reforge the exotics).

My last attempt(on the 10/1/13) consisted of 320 rare gs which cost 97.8g in mats to craft, I ended up with 2 rare gs and 21 exotics left over(exotics prices ranged from 2.1g-4.8g) and returned roughly 67g(before sales tax), so its not free but if you are lucky you don’t loose everything just think of it as downgrading your current gold by X% :P.

This actually happened to one of the officers in my guild, took him about a week to get his account unbanned. It kinda makes you a bit scared to send anything to anyone using the mail system including mats to a friend for them to craft you something, or just to help them out a bit.

I agree this feature should be in-game(why did it launch with out it?).

I would prefer to pay with gold rather than gems, Star trek Online (Cryptic/PWE) which is also cash shop orientated, has a tailor system implemented that allows changing of anything except race and name for in-game currency(equivalent of gold).

If they where a gem store option, i think i would want a larger selection of options available for customisation, than is currently available. As well as the option to save costumes(appearance settings) for later use (perhaps pay gems for additional slots instead of per change?) .

Good news that something has been done to the rabbit population, unfortunately it does seem like a small drop in the ocean but keep up the good work! Although if we loose the bots we also loose the games of “Kill the bot” leaving even less variety in Orr :P.

It would also be interesting to hear how/when(/if?) Anet plans on tackling issues such as players using programs(not mentioning any names here) to exploit.

Firstly I would like to thank ANet for a second chance at obtaining a skin and listening to the feed back(in whatever for it may have come).

In total I started out with 60 keys after opening the chests, I ended up with 2 skins, one pauldron and the rifle along with a load of tonics (finally completed my stack of them :P ). I have to admit I was a bit disappointed as none of my characters(that i have levelled past intro) can use a rifle.

As its a holiday event I believe this could have been handled in a far better manner(its not Halloween every day). I would have preferred to have received a token from the chests, instead of the skins to exchange for a account bound skin of my choice or similar.

after opening 35 mad king chests, I do feel that the tonics used to make them (didn’t use magic find, exp or kama) would have been more useful than the contents of the chests (it may have been a better idea to have a value(or amount of tokens) assigned to each booster or item so they could have been saved up and traded for a skin.). Also I still have pre mystery tonic tonics cluttering up my bank space it would have been nice to use these up.
