Hi All! I have this guardian build here which I’d like to get some feedback on^^.
I wanted to create a tank with sufficient damage to solo pve and roam.
It’s a GS/Staff build.
I was thinking about switching my staff for a mace and shield, but am not sure if it’s better than staff.
I’m also unsure of my runes. I want to get leadership runes for overall stats and 30% boon increase, but I’d be happy to listen to other/better suggestions:p.

This is my D/D cantrip build. It’s centered mostly around dealing a lot of damage and making the most use of cantrips and boons.

Is this for SPvP? If that’s the case, this is probably the best build for GS/Hammer in PvP:

It’s more or less Hambow with a handful of changes to make it more bursty. It has it’s obvious counters but it’s a lot of fun to use.
In general:
Greatsword is all about burst. You want a Berserker’s Trinket and Hoelbrak runes which give you a good mix of damage and incoming condition duration reduction.
Thanks! All my trinkets are berserk and I was having trouble figuring them runes out. Hoelbrak and Strength are a lot a like xD 1 is extra dmg while the other is better for sustain.
It’s not good, no fast hands, if u still wanna play the build, at least use warrior runes.
What do you mean fast hands?
Its for pve/wvw roam/zergie style. Not really for pvp.

I’ve been playing Warrior for a long time now and I’ve tried many things, but I was wondering if you could give some advice on my current build? I used to play HAMBOW, but I was looking for more DPS and found a juggernaut build on the meta. I want to be able to have a nice dps and still have control. These are my specs as they are now:
20/20/30/0/0
Ascended soldier armor + Dolyak
Exotic GS/Hammer + Force/Accuracy
Ascended trinkets with infusion
I’m still using Dolyak, but I might wanna change to a different runeset and different skills, but I can’t figure out what to do with it precisely.
Runes of Strenght(like in the editor), scholar, hoelbrak and brawler all seem nice options.
If you have any pointers or anything on my build(if it’s good, I’d like to know too of course:p) please reply or pm me ingame (Gunnar Beastslayer).
