We are Weekend Warriors seeking to recruit active Weekend participants for epic fights and fun filled nights! [Vale] is a 5yr+ active gaming community seeking to build a larger roster bringing newcomers and veterans together for organized, smooth, enjoyable, and drama-free gameplay.

All we ask from our members are two simple things:
1. Use Discord.
2. Represent and Attend our WvW runs Saturday and Sunday at 7:30p PST/PDT.

For players who prefer a more ‘elite’ setup, we also have a ‘dedication team’ filled with members who submit themselves to our cause. Built up of some of the strongest builds, experience, teamwork and loyalty; they help create the solid foundation we stand on.

Our morale cannot be broken. The strength of our resolve is infinite. None shall stand between us and what we aim to achieve. Victory is in our grasp. From the roots of Mother Nature herself have we emerged; Oakvale..

Jade Quarry has traveled a long road up to this point in GW2. JQ has a veteran core of players that have fought in multiple tiers since launch. We’ve had many changes over this past year and these changes have molded us in becoming an even better community. JQ is in the midst of rebuilding; seeking like-minded guilds and players that have a strong passion for WvW. We’ve found a new resolve— stronger and bolder than ever before. New experiences for both new & returning faces lie ahead!

We will not bore you to tears with the minutia – instead, we shall show you our resolve and focus.

We have embraced the idea that WvW is supposed to be enjoyable, not just a second occupation. Long gone are the days of needing to stay on for another two hours because you’re behind on PPT and you have that coverage gap. Now come the days when you spend another few hours in WvW just because it was actually good fun. We have embraced those which other “communinty-focused” worlds pushed to the side – milita. Jade Quarry’s core is the miitia. We have created an accepting and friendly community for any and all players. Even players from our ‘linked’ servers are welcome to run with Jade Quarry. It is because of this community’s foundation that we are doing quite well in T2. It is because of this foundation we are rebuilding to return to T1.

RECRUITMENT

We’d like to be competitive to ensure an enjoyable fight between the worlds when we return to T1. We would like to field more active WvWers across all prime-times (NA, SEA, EU, OCX); ideally bringing in guilds who enjoy all aspects of GW2 and are happy to support the server community. Jade Quarry players like to enjoy WvW no matter what time you log-in. We are also in no particular rush. We would prefer that interested players and guilds take the time to get to know the server and be sure that we’re the right world for them to call home.

We are currently focusing on filling in some of our gaps:

• 1 EU Guild
• 1 EU Commander
• 1 OCX Guild
• 2 NA Guilds

Before you read further, we are a WvW focused Guild. We have specific raiding days, but these WvW Raids do not apply to our PvE players! We enjoy PvE during our off times. But overall, this is a very respectful, mature, and fun community. I hope that you will give us a shot! PvP players are also welcome!

Overview
We aren’t a group of elitists. We’re just here to have fun and get through the raid. Currently we’re looking to fill up the missing slots in our comp then get back into doing the raids! We have builds we’ve created that we encourage players to run for a higher chance of success during the raid. All PvE players are welcome! We have weekly farming events that members are required to attend if online. We are simply recruiting players to build an active community in which players can gather together and play together.

Requirements

• You only have to represent during the raid or event if you’re with us. Other than that, representing our Guild is entirely up to you, but we encourage representing!

• You must have TeamSpeak. If you can’t use it, sorry~!

• Attend the scheduled farming event for the week. We farm as a Guild once a week. The day is scheduled every week, usually sometime between Wed-Sat.

• You have to be signed up on our website. We kick those who are not signed up at the end of each week, and we remove players who have been inactive for a week without notice.

• No Drama. Respect fellow Guild mates.

We have a Guild Hall Jumping Puzzle and other fun things our members can try for fun. We also have weekly activities, be it Guild Lottery, Hide and Seek, PvP Tournaments, etc.

We’re looking for players who are looking for organized PvE raids. Raiding days will be announced to players early in the week. Typically raids will be held somewhere between Wednesday and Saturday.

The only requirements you’ll need to meet is this:

- Represent during the raid.

– Use the provided PvE build for your class, or something very similar to it.

Basically this is just a post specifically for those who want successful raids. We’ve been looking for the ‘perfect comp’ and we believe we have something close to it.

OBJECTIVE

If I am aiming to just get a legendary, doesn’t matter which one… Would it be best to put in Greatswords into the forge since there are 2 Greatsword Legendaries? Would that be a higher chance of getting a precursor?

Summary
Vale is a semi-hardcore WvW community recruiting active members looking for a home. We put a strong focus on open field combat. Being a part of our Guild means you are a part of a family. We stand strong; united… as one.

Requirements

• All members are expected to represent and attend if online during raiding prime hours. (Prime hours are 6:00p – 9:00p PST)

Experiences
Vale has been through it all. We’ve fought on Tier 1 servers during our time in Jade Quarry, we’ve seen rock bottom servers when we played in Anvil Rock, and we have experience being on an above average server while rocking out in Crystal Desert.

We have a long history being around for over a year. We’ve fallen and we have rebuilt. We are still standing strong and vigilant. From running as high as 35 members daily, then falling down to running only 5. We’ve pulled ourselves through extremely rough times and survived. In fact, we are even stronger than ever.

1. Why does whispers bug so much now? It lags and doesn’t actually select the player to whisper while playing..

2. Why does the Guild “represent” icon not keep up with players? It shows they aren’t representing when they are.

Is there any notice of a bug fix for these two thing? Is it just my game? What’s the issue with this?

Yesterday I applied to your guild but I still haven’t been accepted.

Sorry about that, check the main post again if you’re still interested. Recently we’ve reformed under a new name and purged the community. We’ve slimmed down numbers and are selectively recruiting people. All new members will go through a trial period with our community and they will go through an Evaluation by our Council. We’ve gone from a mass recruitment Guild, down to a pinpoint selective recruitment skill Guild.

I also apologize for the late reply, I haven’t been attending this forum due to the changes and updating we’ve been doing with our community. We’ve been doing quite a few changes so there’s been a strong focus on setting everything up.

So far everything is now set, so we should be back on the ground ready to find some players!

When you have a damage bonus from an item or trait e.g. Sigil of Force, Sigil of Night, do they add up?

So If I run both sigils does that mean I have 15% more damage? Or how does this work?

And what if I have a trait in addition to the damage: For example If I am running Executioner on a Thief, that adds 20% damage below a certain threshold. Will that mean that if I have the Sigil of Force and Sigil of Night I total out to an additional 35% more damage?

We come from Crystal Desert. We run about 10-15 per night, and we also run 20-25 on really active nights. We’re looking for a group who is interested in merging forces to increase numbers to 25 minimum per raiding night.

We raid every night and during off-times do activities such as commendation runs, dungeons, pvp, etc. We are trying to get more for WvW and more for GvG as well..

We are a NA group that runs 6p PST to 9p PST every day. We need another driver and also more people to run with!

Just a refresher, our server is strong for being a low tier server. We just lack the coverage.

Any OCX guilds looking for a new home, this will be a good fit for you. Field 10-15 per night and you can make a huge difference for this server.
