You spend 400 bucks on a game you can almost play for free and you complain you cant play it now on your 3 computer screens, dude maybe you need to get a life.
I have seen those before. Its probably what Talloc said; misplaced or dropped item.
I agree with the OP. Kudos for Anet for the amazing graphics and level design and all, but the cities are just too huge and therefore have a huge impact on processor and GPU load. In LA it usually takes over 5 minutes before I see any players or NPC’s (culling), and the framerate is just awfull. I think if LA, or BC etc. would be half the size they are now it would solve a lot of peoples framerate and culling issues.
…And if my demands are not met… well, fine then, nothing happens.
Hehehe lol, that cracked me up
Here’s my level 45 Guardian. I like chainmail armor and it fits the character so I transmute a lot of stuff to keep it looking like the cheap stuff you can buy from the vendor, lol.
Guys, how do you get such clean looking screenshots?
I dont remember where it was, but in a small town I ran into a building, up the stairs and walked into a bedroom and there is a Priestess in the room and a guy and a girl standing on the bed wearing bandages. I’m like: Ok…
Hope you dont mind if I give you the advice to search this forum. On the first page alone are a ton of builds and suggestions.
This whole dye discussion is stupid and pointless. Having to buy colors in the shop is lame. Dyes not being account-wide is lame. In WvW your armor is red green or blue anyway, so thats lame. In PVE nobody even looks at you anyway, except you looking at yourself. Anet should just make the whole colorpallet available for everyone, for free and be done with it.
What is annoying is that after everytime you gather, chop or mine something you automatically draw your weapon. Doesnt make sense.
- it’s making me throw my keyboard through the window. The regular jumping puzzles are already a tedious excerise in frustration, if youre going to design a whole new dungeon based on platform jumping then for god’s sake first improve or fix the awfull jumping mechanic. Change the physics. Change the timing. Change the response. Make my character lighter or heavier, hell if I know. Make the feet stickier. Change whatever, but the way it is now is just crap.

Dim,
They will let you in after you complete the campaign or you can wait till the event is over.
Ah ok that makes sense!
.. because the npc’s are blocking the Command Core POI.
Cant do Black Citadel map completion because the npc’s are blocking the Command Core POI.
I totally agree. I had a lvl 80 Hunter which is fun too because you sort of have a companion, but other players hate your guts. Tried a Warrior but got bored with him (press 1,2,3 repeat), tried an Elementalist but could not remember the bazillion combos and always got killed. So I rolled a Guardian… wow… easily tank mobs 2 or 3 levels higher and 2 or 3 at a time, much better chances in boss fights, great healing abilities, good support for allies, so yeah definately a keeper. :-)
I think the whole loot drop alltogether in this game is abismal. Because of the bad weather this week (in Europe) I played all weekend and leveled my Guardian to level 20. I did not get ONE item that was actually usefull to me. I think I got 2 or three greens, which werent worth anything on the TP, the rest was salvage and a few white and blue items. My weapon and armor upgrades I bought myself on the TP with maybe one or two items from the heart vendors. The Veterans I killed didnt even drop ANYTHING. This game has some real serious flaws.
I recently dropped my level 40 Ele to reroll a Guardian. Couldnt fight more than 1 enemy at a time, always had to stick with my level range or lower and still got killed over and over. But the biggest reason was that I just could not remember the huge number of spells and all the different weapon combos. Ive also played an Engineer, Warrior and Hunter. It just all depends on your playstyle and how good you are with twitchy fingers. Some may like the difficulty of a spellcaster, others rather play this game like Diablo; in that case a warrior or guardian is a better choice. So I dont think the Ele should be the standard template.
Not sure if this has beem mentioned before and if it should go in the bug-report forum.
My warrior yells: Adrenaline Rising! or So much power! or something to that effect when the adrenaline bar is dropping or empty.
Ok thanks :-) .
Hero panel: character stays small after height increase with make-over kit.
I had a Male Norn warrior with a somewhat odd name. Because there is no name-change in the game yet I decided to just change it to a female to fit the name better. I bought the make-over kit and made the changes. Initially I had made the male the smallest size, but I made the female almost full size. But in the Hero panel the character is still the small size as the male was.
Wow, no wonder people complain about grind… you people (lol) have turned this game into a job.
Anyone playing GW2 and complaining about “grind” obviously never played EverQuest or Asheron’s Call… talk about needing millions of XP just to raise 1 skill point and grinding for days just to get that 0.001% drop rate ingredient you need for your composite bow… so go cry somewhere else, there is no grind in GW2.
