Now here is a list of Anets official retailers that did sell keys at the release of GuildWars2 it’s not clear if they are officially allowed to sell HoT keys:

Now if you bought a key from anywhere else besides the official sites you most likely got scammed and its on you to get your money back If you can. Anet will not oner fraudulent keys, good luck

Man I don’t know why you keep posting without reading other peoples posts…. many people who have the problem bought the game from Anet store. Many others from official retailers…

It looks like to me, looking through all the related threads on this issue is with purchasing the game from a third party vendor or retailer. the one that stand out the most is G2Play.net so there you go that’s why I’m posting this info and yes I do read that’s why I posted this here because a few stated they didn’t buy from the official GuildWars2 site.

It wasn’t really G2Play fault though, there was one fraudulent seller there from which I bought, seems everyone else did too. They already banned him and everyone can get a refund. Not defending anyone, just to get clear.

I guess they are very busy now, think I simply got lucky, now its like a lottery. Maybe stating the problem directly and keeping message short might get their attention.

Ok, another update, after creating second ticket, they unblocked my account.

I’ve gone ahead and restored access to your account. Please be mindful that the account was banned because of the potential for payment fraud. We understand that this isn’t always the case, but for security purposes, we must act accordingly. After further investigation, we are happy to return you to the game. We recommend you secure your log-in info since many illegitimate 3rd party Serial Code sellers are capable of stealing this information. We are glad to hear that you were able to get a refund!

Everything is fine, I have access to the game now, even though expansion access was revoked(got refund from retailer for that). Good luck everyone still experiencing the issue and thanks for this thread, where I at least found out wth is happening.

May I ask you how/when you made the second ticket and what you wrote in it? Maybe I wasn’t polite enough to support to actually receive any support..

I submitted the second ticket about hour and a half ago, I simply asked once more to restore my access to the game, and informed them that I got refund and don’t care about HoT key anymore. I also included all my order info about core game I bought directly from them (serial code, order number and date, payment method)

A little update from me, G2play provided me with full refund. Apparently there was one fraudulent seller there and he was already banned. Don’t bother with offline support and go straight to kinguin live chat, they ll help you immediately.

However, its not so cheerful on anet side, my account is still suspended, and support only provided me with standard “Its not our problem, further replies might not receive a response” like everyone else here.. Now, forget about keys and expansion already, I just want to receive my account back, the one I bought directly from anet in the summer of 2012.
PS: Oh, and don’t worry if you haven’t paid for so called “g2play protection”, its just a money grab, they help you either way.

Same, support answered quite fast, asked for key and where i got it, but now almost a day passed and no reply. Nice way to ruin my weekend, anet…

Installed OSX Mavericks today and had no crashes since, played all the evening in WvW on max settings and everything was cool

Seems that OSX Mavericks removed crashing problem. Earlier, as an iMac owner, I crashed every time 10 or more people were around – only turning all settings on lowest helped a bit. Now game is running flawless on max graphics, no crashes in WvW during the evening. All in all, i am very happy

Getting crashes as well. It all started in the winter with karka events, after that i was unable to play for long time. Finally in the may I switched to best performance graphic settings and haven’t crashed until recent update. I ve done all steps above and it didn’t help. My error is always “dsTbits”, occurs about once in 20-25 minutes.

Do you understand that infusion slots are actually replacing upgrade slots, so in ascended gear there will be no slots for runes. So, there will be infusions instead of runes. What stats they have? +5 to power/vitality/and so on. Even if you assume, that its the lest powerful infusion and that infusions will have +20 stats, its anyway even less than stats that runes give. I don’t see any reason here to act as a child and whine or cry out loud. From what we have seen so far, ascended gear won’t be much better than exotic in stats, so just relax.

haven’t thought I d ever post in thread about plant nipples, but: what the hell? they are plants, not mammals, they don’t need nipples.. Even the fact that they have breasts is a bit confusing, but well, teens playing sylvari have to look at something to enjoy. By the way, I am more concerned that they have flowers growing out of their butt… still I guess that they just don’t use it.. naturally

The best halloween event ever. That was really the best halloween event in the history of MMO. I think you did awesome job, anet! Keep it up!
P.S.: really loved the mad king clock tower

This is the best jumping puzzle ever. Sure it was most challenging and I spent hours raging, failing and learning, BUT that was so awesome to complete it, I felt like super hero thank you anet, you did a great job! And please don’t nerf it, as nothing compares with completion of such challenge, that’s the real achievement
