Jump puzzles are fun to play with the right race.
My Asura who is the size of a pixel can hop from pretty much anywhere to anywhere without issue, while my charr, whose feet are bigger than an entire Asura can barely jump from stone to stone.
Really it would be nice if we could have a small bone as a bigger race as half the jump puzzles all I can see is a wooden shield on the back of my guardian as I cant zoom out anywhere due to terrain, and due to funny walks it is nigh on impossible to judge foot position to line up jumps even on open terrain.
Completed here too by luring Mazdak out of the cemetery and hoping nobody got feared back in to his Adds aggro range before we could take him down. Still a PITA storyline though.
Can I say beating him up in a back alley works wonders!
Vigil on my Charr Guardian since the main Charr leader was so cool. The Elementalist went Whispers as she is not overly combative, and the Necro will go Priory as she couldnt chop a potato if her life depended on it.
I was more sad when i killed my dad, but it was self defense!
Long story short:
Elementalist with sword – unable to change attunements for me ele signets etc and Treharne is powering up the lich according to mouse over of Defiant!
Lich summons minions as soon as he reaches 1/2 health which almost immediately kill npc’s and then I die shortly afterwards. When I move past fountain bad guys become invulnerable and run away briefly before turning and coming to hit me. In the mean time if I stay away from them to regen, I dont as apparently I am still in combat even though they aren’t!
Please say this one was fixed with the other Machuk one (dead of winter).
In the original GW there were places were you could dig for treasure and always get a nice unidentified gold item. Maybe this will eventually become one of those :P
A necromancer commoner who wished to run off and join the circus. Rather wish I had lost my sister now
Ultimately I think I will go and join the Priory.
The vigil did have a nice dialog sequence about treading on kitties tails which my Charr found interesting. As for humans being weak that is just a lie, they just need a little more meat on their bones.
Just wondering if anybody has a nice viable setup/ideas on how to do melee as a necro when you cannot kite due to being in a very enclosed space.
I am having issues in particular with the level 14 story mission where you have to get the two panthers which are set on you in the cage. I just cannot move enough to kite and avoid being munched on.
World: seafarers Rest
Guild Rustlers [RST]
Just joined the Vigil from my personal storyline and now the Guild promoter is saying I am not representing any guild. Only change I notice is that now I have lost my RST part of my guild tag.
Try resetting the personal story mission.
This is eventually what I did. Seems like maybe killing undead in the fort before killing stuff outside causes the bug.
Trying to complete the above story mission but am having difficulty with Sagum as he is invulnerable and surrounded by swarming insects but wont fight and we cant hurt him.
Was a cutscene supposed to trigger or am I missing something here? I cannot find anything to interact with and no other enemies are anywhere to be found.
Just kill humanoids to get Jute for tailoring.
Is the story designed so you really have to have other players in a group?

I have tried multiple times on different toons to do certain story missions and am hitting roadblocks all the time where it seems certain class/npc combinations just cannot complete a mission.
My worst at the moment comes for my Guardian as although i can tank the avatar of balthazar for a while I just have no way of killing it solo as all my npc’s were killed by the combined attacks of the avatar and thaumaturgist as soon as the cutscene finished. The camera angles are also a hinder as I can never see myself due to the abundance of tents and things which stop me even seeing what I am doing.
Rezzing them does no good as the marksman restart outside the mission and will not follow me back in and my warband member refuses to leave the avatar spawn point when i rez him. If we had NPC controls from GW1 so he didnt attack on sight and would go to a rally point we may have more luck.
So the question is how do other folks fair when they come across a mission which seems vaguely impossible?
