Okay I’ll be a bit clearer. Imagine you are wearing a T-shirt and jeans and before leaving the house, you realize that you’ll freeze unless you put on a long-sleeved thick piece of clothing. So it will cover most of the torso including the neck area.

Call it what ever you want, but that’s the piece of clothing that I want for my character and potentially other characters.

Well, it’s not really rocket science.
Something like this

I would love to have a jumper skin (not an outfit). It would complete my characters’s look. Maybe the color pallets can be like the scarf, where it would be a striped jumper if you used 2 different colors, and a plain jumper if you used the same color for both pallets. I know this is a fantasy mmo RPG, but there are silly skins like aviator glasses, reading glasses, monocles, scarves, so why not add a jumper?

I was patient with my 20 ascended weapon/armor boxes and anet made a good change, so there’s no harm in holding them in since I have a lot of free space :P

I left my character auto attacking the indestructible golem in the mists. Reached 6 hours of fury using the GM trait No Quarter. It’s supposed to give you 2s of fury, instead, it gives like 15-18 seconds on a 2s ICD LOL.

Anet should fix this bug though :p

Disagree. Any rune, sigil, or trait which is powerful enough to warrant one should be toned down to not be so game-changing.

No man, it should definitely tell, its pretty unfair if you think about it, someone trying to set up a burst but not knowing that his vamp (6) is on CD, then he suddenly gets bursted and dies. If he knew that his rune was on CD, he wouldn’t foolishly engage.

Please add something to the UI that shows CDs for Runes, Sigils, and Traits.

I play 26006 d/p thief and looking for team.

The reason I don’t play panic strike is cause condi cleanse is becoming overused in this current meta with all the shout warriors blowing their horns.

I can (ALMOST) 1v1 everything (except turret engis and other cheese builds like condi mesmer)

My list of threats to me from biggest to smallest goes like this:

Biggest Threat——————————————————

-Turret engi
-Condi P/S engi
-Cele Rifle engi
(and everything else engi except power static discharge, unless they land analyze)

-Thief S/D (easy if I manage to find him before he finds me)
-Thief D/P panic and excecutioner, ^ Same as above
(But landing the immob on me wouldn’t be a problem cause I can just withdraw away, negating his GM trait, I honestly would use Hide in Shadows if the enemy team didn’t have a Panic D/P thief)

-Shoutbow warrior(fight becomes easy if I manage to land steal and reflect while in hes in LB)

-Cele ele (kinda easy to fight if I manage to steal after he uses armor of earth and land the stolen skill after he swaps to water)

-Medi GS guard
-Medi Hammer guard
(The reason I think GS is harder than hammer for me to fight is cause skill 2 is just silly PBAoE but that can be easily avoidable, then you have skill 5 which lands even while I’m in stealth, and I can be pulled even through mid dodge roll. Hammer has a stronger burst, but one dodge roll can negate it completely, and if I get caught in a Ring of Warding, it depends on the situation of whether I should port out or not)

If you are 1v1ing the medi hammer guard and you get caught in a ring, stay in the ring, don’t waste a port, cause the guardian will most likely have used his burst already, and will be left with nothing but a slooooooooow auto attack, and if he hasn’t used his burst yet, then he’ll definitely use it as soon as you get caught in the ring, you can just dodge that while in the ring. If you were in a team fight (2v2, 3v3, 3v2… etc etc), THAT’S the time to port out.

There are nothing wrong with pets, in PvP atleast, the wolf knockdown is waaaaaay too silly, like, I dont mind the wolf fear since the ranger can control it, but they also have a second CC skill which I believe is a 2 second knockdown and also deals a lot of damage, (I play a glass cannon thief, hits be for like 2.5k – 3k) . It just REALLY bothers me when I get chain CC’ed by an AI

If I wanted to fight AIs, I would’ve went to PvE ages ago, petting zoos suck IMO, MM necromancers and spirit rangers kitten me off.

I just recent;y upgraded my computer from windows 8 to 8.1, and suddenly, my performance dropped like BOMBS!

I’m not sure whether it’s because I upgraded to 8.1, or maybe it’s because the latest patch did something. I’m not sure

It’s just a suggestion. I love running around hot join with prototype builds. I feel like no one can tell me a thing cause in my experience of spectating hot joins, I have seen:

-a thief using D/D and a short bow with a pistol trait
- a warrior using rifle gs with hammer trait
-people running 10/10/10/10/10
- the list goes on…

I would love to know what other engineers are planning :P

This is what I will most likely be testing, are bunker eles really back? With the new diamond skin trait, this will obviously give eles more sustain towards condi users. I may have put too much healing power in this build, but the whole point of this build is to always be above 90% health. Some feedback would be nice

If you’re wondering why I used V on explosives in the master tier, it’s cause that’s where inc power will be if anet decides to make that change.

You might can make some tweaks and remove grenade kit for flamethrower, and deal more burns

Why a large force? I’m pretty sure you’ll have very low numbers of spectators, say 20 max

To be fair, that would be an amazing idea, but you shouldn’t be able to spectate your server’s match. Say you have 6 servers (A B C D E F) and the current Match ups are AvBvC and DvEvF, you are from server B and you’re waiting in a queue, you shouldn’t be able to spectate AvBvC but you can spectate DvEvF since it would have almost no effect on your server or the opposing server

I didn’t bother changing the gear because I thought you used PvP mode, in PvE you pretty much want full berserker and nothing else.

I run 2 builds on engi in spvp, 1 is a condi spam P/S and the other once is a glass cannon rifle.

For the glass cannon rifle
0/30/0/10/30
On fire arms: hair trigger, rifle mod, and the GM trait 2% more damage on a foe for each condition he has
On alchemy: the vigor trait
On tools: Speedy kits, Static discharge, and tool kit skills recharge 20% faster

Heal skill: Healing turret
Utilities: Tool kit, utility goggles, rifle turret
Elite: Supply crate

And a berserker amulet.

The idea of this build is to spam F2 F3 and F4 on your foe as it will do a lot of damage, make sure you use analyze first as it gives the 10 stacks of vuln and you’ll do more damage with throw wrench and surprise shot.

You can engage by using magnet-then; F2F3F4-then; pry bar-then;over charged shot -then; net shot -then; jump shot.

There are many other ways to engage with this build and this is just one of them.
When you’re in trouble, you drop the supply crate and use gear shield and start collecting the med kits (only when healing turret doesn’t heal enough)

A good way to get the most of healing turret is: Deploy turret-then; overcharge it(make sure you spam that skill)-then; detonate healing turret-then; deploy rifle turret then detonate it ASAP because it’s a blast finisher and you’ll heal yourself more

(Rifle turret is mostly for the blast finisher and surprise shot, you will almost never deploy it for the damage, because rifle turret damage is lol)

It will take you a few games to get used to this build, you can also try naughty things in spirit watch and skyhammer with the magnet.

In Skyhammer: you can magnet someone on the breakable platform then net shot them, it’s pretty much an insta kill.

In spirit watch: you can pull the orb carrier from 1200 range, run to the other side and over charge shot him off the hills and delay a lot of time.

I use this build only in these maps in tpvp, but I use it for all maps in hot joins, as for the other maps in tpvp, I use my condi spamming build.

I have a Sylvari warrior that I wanna switch to a human warrior, but what’s stopping me is that I have a personal fractal reward level of 35 and rank 75 in wvw, which I don’t want to start over all again, I’m completely ok with manually leveling him up to 80 but I don’t want to go through fractals all over again and wipe my wvw ranks. Maybe I’ll reroll when anet decides to make wvw ranks and fractal reward level account wide.

I’ll make this short, I can’t speak in the guild and I can’t see what others are saying.
Every time I type something in guild chat, it says “You are not in a guild” I tried everything such as standing down and re-representing, creating a new guild, and the guild option is ticked in the chat, can someone help me please?

I think I’m the only one with this problem, because everyone else can see guild chat just fine

Celestial is a horrible stat, why would you even want it?
