Just wait a few weeks and anet will increase endure pain to 10 seconds.
From what I’ve seen at June 25th, they buffed warrior so much, that it is clear to me that anet are warrior fanboys, possibly guardian fanboys as well. Berserker Stance is just ridiculous against Necromancers and Engineers. And when the Bazaar update showed up, Berserker Stance increased from 4s to 8s.

Legendaries shod stay as they are, if anet adds that extra skill that only legendaries can have, then dungeon groups will search for people with twilight sunrise etc. it’s already bad enough that there are preceded professions where rangers can’t do a single dungeon.

I like the idea of a special emote that can be used to show off your legendary while afking or something. For example the predator will have an emote where the character lies down on his/her belly like a sniper and aim down the scope, and shoots once every 5 seconds or something, the emote would be an emote where you only have to type in once just like /dance

Anet did try to bring life to Southsun Cove by adding both a guild rush and a guild challenge, but I don’t think that was enough. The idea of a mega boss in Southsun is nice, but I’m afraid if it gets too crowded, and a guild won’t be able to do their guild mission.
I can’t tell you how much I love the idea of adding a dungeon in Southsun, it would be cool if it worked like the 8 main dungeons, and they would add a new dungeon vendor for that specific dungeon. It would probably have no story mode since you can’t link destiny’s edge to Southsun, however, you can still have 3 dungeon paths to complete.

It’s funny to see everyone here complain about their legendary and say the others are better. Why did you make that legendary if the effects are bad?

Very good point. I fell in love with the predator even before anet updated the effects on most legendaries, because the sound effect was just too sexy, and it didn’t have any footprints at that time. Now the predator got a new fiery look with footprints that don’t even last 1 second. They are hardly noticeable. But I still don’t care because the sound effect is what keeps me loving the predator

FYI, The predator’s sound effect can barely be heard from other players, you have to literally be inside the predator user to hear it, where as the dreamers monster sized unicorns can be noticed from a mile away.

I use the tool kit normally with my build and I realized that all melee weapons can hit up to 3 people at the same time, where as in the tool kit’s chain (smack whack thwack) smack and whack hits up to 3 people but thwack (the final and hardest hit) is single targeted. Please arena net, let it hit up to 3 people, doesn’t make sense if ALL melee weapons hit 3 but the engineer tool kit, I also read in one of the patch notes that Mesmer’s mind stab in their sword auto attack chain can now hit up to 3 people. Please fix this for tool kit engineers

The title says it all. It’s not dark enough to consider it “night time.” The sky is also too bright at night, I wish you made it much darker like skyrim… Not saying skyrim is better than Gw2, just saying that night time in that game is much nicer than in this one, and don’t tell me to lower the brightness, I like the day cycle in this game, it’s very nice and bright

My suggestion is that you add a slider to the graphics options labelled, “Night cycle brightness” it will make this game’s scenery much more beautiful, and well definitely make some races (sylvari lol) look more magnificent and majestic

I don’t know about you guys, but I once ran Arah exp with a staff ele, zerk war, and here’s the best part, engi(me), ranger and necro. It was a piece of cake, had no problems at all.
I don’t believe in profession priority, guild wars 2 depends more on skill rather than on gear and profession.
Another day, I decided to roll the same path of Arah, this time, I rolled my zerk warrior. We had the same guardian, the same necro, but instead of the staff ele and the zerk warrior, we had a thief and a guardian. They were both well geared with exotics, but kitten kitten they were useless. I could not remember the amount of times we wiped at lupi. They couldn’t dodge the AoE, they complained that they can only dodge twice because they’re too stupid to realise that they can walk out of the AoE if they can.
I’m just saying that doing dungeons mostly depends on player skill and experience.
My engineer is full berserker geared and uses a static discharge rifle crit build. I feel much more useful than condition damage or support tank. Wouldn’t you guys think a 3.5k crit hip shot(auto attack) is great?

When dual-wielding different Legendaries with footfalls (such as a Necromancer with Frostfang and Rodgort), have the side of the Legendary leave a footfall from that foot. So the right foot would leave the frozen footfall and the left foot would leave the fire

Necromancers can’t use torches (Rodgort). Just sayin’

On the other hand, I really like the right foot frozen footfall and the left foot firefall idea. Or even if they stack on top of each other, it wold look weird but still nice.

Not a bad suggestion. What I usually do is just keep my alternate weapons in the last slots of my bag. This way, I am able to equip them by opening my inventory rather than the hero panel. If you’re not used to it, then I hope ANet adds an option to favorite weapons :P

Engineer elites are seriously stupid, especially the mortar. Elixir X is fun for leveling, but it is pathetically useless at 80. The only decent elite is supply crate, and that skill is only useful for PvP for the stun and health packs, turrets are also useful in PvP. But in PvE, the turrets die in 2 seconds, and stuns are not that important, unless the mob is channelling a powerful attack.
Come on arena net, have you even looked at engineer’s elites? There are utilities from other classes that are 10 times better than engineer elites.
My solution: replace the stupid mortar with an actual useful elite that could seriously help out in dungeons. I’m a glass cannon rifle crit engi, so I’d prefer something like a bazooka which deals massive damage that has a 3 second channelling attack as the auto which is also ground targeted, range would be around 1000, radius would be a little bit smaller than the supply crate. The bazooka would obviously be a bundle which would have a 30s-60s duration. Since it is a bundle, it should also have skills 2,3,4,5, too, and I’d prefer having skill 5 to be like the charrzooka barrage. The other skills would probably be CC skills.
What I was also considering was to have the bazooka as a weapon kit, and it would have no cool down upon using it, although its attacks would have really long cool downs, maybe skill #2 has a 30 second cool down, the barrage would have a 120s cool down. Toolkit and utilities would still be available when the bazooka is equipped
Please make it happen arena net, I love my engineer too much to change my main

I don’t even care if it is a bazooka or not, please just make one of them useful for PvE.
Maybe something similar to the battle standard. I’m craving for fury.

These gold sinks are just ridiculous, why are they almost everywhere? I still haven’t tried my luck on throwing rares into the mystic forge to get The Hunter due to hearing many people complaining about wasting 500g trying to get a precursor. I’m just trying to save as much money as I can so I can just simply buy the hunter, and a perfect salvage kit can help.

What is a perfect salvage kit?
- A perfect salvage kit is a salvage kit used to remove upgrades from armor and weapons without breaking the armor or weapon into crafting materials.

They were available in gw1, I don’t see a reason why they shouldn’t exist in gw2, and I have already thought of methods of getting a hold the perfect salvage kit.
- Throw 4 master salvage kits into the MF
- Bought from a vendor for 60s-1g
- 1 Master salvage kit 1 ecto 1 Elonian wine 1 mystic coin

In the original Guild Wars, there were only 5 available uses, but crafting with the methods which I just mentioned should give you at least 25-30 uses.

The reason I wanted perfect salvage kits into this game is because I have 2 armor sets on my engineer (Berserker and Knight) and I have tanky runes on my Berserker gear and glass cannon runes on my Knight gear (Superior runes) I don’t want to just delete these runes by simply adding new ones on the armor and overwrite the current ones, these runes are like 1g each and I just want to switch them with each other. I know that it was stupid of me to put these kinds of runes on these kinds of armor, but I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one who wants perfect salvage kits. I’m definitely sure somebody lost over 10g because he/she wanted to completely switch builds (traits, armor, runes) and were forced to overwrite a gold worth of runes x6

More "hair" styles for sylvari

How about the same bulb that bulbasaur has in its back has a hair style, and as an extra feature, it’s would open up in day time and close at night.

I also would love the idea of vines as if they were long dreadlocks on a human or norn, only sylvari style, And its length would reach up to your character’s shoulders.

Another style would be like the leaves of a palm tree, I would love to choose that one.

You can still make more hair styles based on bark and leaves, and I feel as if they are too little. My idea would be that they would just make even more hairstyles just a little different.

This final suggestion could also count for all races. A slider which varies hair length. And I don’t mean a few centimeters, I would want it to vary for inches, say 6 inches would be longest. I understand that not all hairstyles can use hair length such has the mushroom sylvari and bald characters,

I agree 100%. It is the best way to get the attention of every single member in your guild, especially if you have 200+ active members. I’d say it should have a rank limit just like only certain ranks have the authority to do something like give out guild buffs or claim WvW points.

I agree that rejecting guild mates is very a very painful thing to do, especially if it’s done over TeamSpeak.

My suggestion is to boost up the maximum party size. I wouldn’t mind if party size reached 20 spaces, as long as it is for simple PvE such as exploring, doing events such as temple events and dragon events, but I also would want to make a suggestion for dungeon parties.

I’d say dungeon parties should be able to hold a maximum of 10 players. Now before you start raging and hating on this post, please keep on reading this reply.
Yes, dungeons would have a 10-man party, but that doesn’t mean you cannot run 5-man dungeon parties anymore. Usually, everyday I’d ask around in my guild’s TeamSpeak server if somebody wants to do a dungeon run with me. I always get around 5-7 people asking for an invite, and I always invite the first 4 members who called out. The other 2 or 3 members always feel left out and bored while the five people do the dungeon.
It has also happened to me a bunch of times and it is pretty annoying.

Here’s the solution.
-Increase party size so that it can hold 20 or more party members, (10 for dungeons).
-It is still recommended for dungeon parties is for them to have at least 5 party members. They can still be run by 1,2,3, or 4 members, but it would be highly recommended for a party to have at least 5 members.

Conclusion: if somebody starts a dungeon group and more than 4 people asked for an invite, the dungeon will be doable with 6 or 7 people, and the maximum size would be 10. Since Guild Wars 2 is all about scaling, making it fair for other players, as more people do the dungeon, the stronger the mobs and bosses become, depending on the amount of players doing the dungeon. It is basically the exact same mechanic used in events, only applied to dungeons.

I would love this to happen, and there will be much less broken hearts in both Guild chat and TeamSpeak.
