I’ve reported the issue in game using /bug. Wasn’t really sure there was a suitable area and sub area to report under, so I’ve put it in UI and Art/Visual with the title 1080 card shadow issue.
Here’s a video at the start of sharkmaw and after entering, moving the camera round and changing some settings around to show that it doesn’t really seem to improve no matter what my settings are on unless I’ve missed one.

Yea that link shows it quite well, Vegeta’s video is exactly what I’m getting.

I’ve just upgraded from a 460 to a 1080 and I’m seeing this also. Very annoying as I’m just going through the Gloominator requirements for dusk so I really need light sources to show properly and I only get them working for a 20 degree view that’s not even forwards.
No in game settings fix this at all, been through all of them.

+1, managed to get in earlier but was a struggle, just tried again with another group and just cant get in
Managed to kill it but as Rednar says, projections walking backwards makes that part harder.
Still looking for more people to do living world/dungeons/fractals with.
Looking to stay as a fairly small/casual guild, whilst having enough people to get groups going on more nights of the week with different people’s schedule.
Still looking for more guildies for dungeon runs and working up towards guild bounties etc. Whisper Braetakk or Djekka in game
They “fixed” this in the last patch, but only for a few people, most still can’t. They’re aware of the issue as people have sent in tickets, but have no ETA on the fix.
I wouldn’t take the high price as indication of what you might get from selling it though unless you get lucky, I’d imagine once it becomes sellable, price may well plummet since the only reason it’s high is through lack of supply due to the bug
I’ve got a guildie in the same situation, desperate to get some gold from it.
Probably related, but I couldn’t invite someone into my group for a CoF run last night by right clicking on their name in chat. When I did it by /invite name it worked fine.
I assume the “i” was entered but not filtered, since he has some results showing up without any “i” in them. Or does this filter beyond the recipe name and look at the recipes components too?

I’d try deleting even if you don’t have 10. Have seen mail not come through when mailbox was at 8/10 and deleting worked then.

It improved over the days. 1st day was just awful, complete stand still due to lag, couldnt get enough hits counting to be able to loot much. 2nd day wasn’t much better.
3rd day seemed to improve lag wise, but maybe that was partially down to it not being in lions arch so can’t really compare. Lots more to do event chain wise.
Wasn’t disconnected myself, but the number of people that did, including people I knew was huge so rating it based on that. Trading post dying straight after the event wasn’t useful either.
These things need more testing for numbers in terms of lag and disconnection, and consequences of thousands of trying to sell stuff after a large event should be looked at too.
I’m fine with one-time events. In fact I’d like to see more of them. I know it sucks if you can’t make it, but that’s life…
For some reason I doubt you’d have the same opinion if the event started at 5am GMT on a Monday.
Only you don’t know my circumstances, and you’re wrong.
The reality is there is no perfect time for everyone to do this stuff… so the choice becomes NEVER do this stuff, or do this stuff and accept that not everyone will be able to take part.
One-time events are preferable to never seeing the world change.
It’s not like those are the only 2 options though. One time events are fine, but they can be ran at different times for different time zones. Yes this means America gets to see content first, but at least everyone gets a more reasonable chance to join in.
I’m GMT and I managed to participate in all 3 evenings, but I think anyone much further east of me really was hard done by.
These things should have been thought about and implemented in advance of being released, it’s not like this is the first MMO and this sort of thing hasn’t been seen before, other MMOs manage it better. Same in terms of being able to hand out items to players when they do rollbacks etc, been done for years in other MMO, vital to the game when you have so many rollbacks and people being cheated out of hours, but it’s all reactionary and coming soon but not soon enough.
Yep just been in and out of fractals a few times, letter each time.
Had this with some moas, 2 yellows and some blues around 78-80, nothing since.
Ah you lost more than the last set, troubling. I’ve put in a support ticket, can imagine they’ll be flooded with this now.
Only down about 200, but I’d not done much in terms of dailies so could well be that.
With the login issues that just happened before the patch rolled out, I had just completed CoF, and exited instance and it disconnected me. When I came back I no longer had the dungeon rewards to accept.
Any way of getting these back, spent time doing that for nothing otherwise.
+1
This is true of any enemy in the game. You don’t even need to die to see this happen, just run away and once he’s too far he’ll run back and health regen pretty quick too.
