I for one would love to see the storage caps raised, as I’m sure anyone who has whole bags – or even whole alts – reserved for storing bloodstone dust and empyreal fragments can attest to. Why can we only store 250 items? Why not 500? or 999?

Just got off the phone with CenturyLink. They say that they have had several complaints regarding this issue but not how to fix this. Couldn’t understand the person and all the stories he was telling me and maybe a few bits of advise on how to fix this. Not a big help. Have to see if I can get someone who understands computers a little more than me to come and do what needs to get done so I can play.

Maybe we’ve all been banned and no one told us….
Has there been any response from ArenaNet on this issue yet?
Anet has been silent as far as I can tell from both this thread and the thread under Bugs.
Husband tried changing DNS server, with no luck.
I contacted CenturyLink and was told that they are showing everything is working properly and having no issues and that I need to contact Anet.
Another Colorado/CenturyLink player not able to get on. Currently 8:27 AM here. So is it Anet or CenturyLink that’s the problem?
CenturyLink has denied being the problem, saying to contact Anet.
P.S. Don’t uninstall/install the game as you won’t be able to reinstall it as long as this complication exists….unless you want to wait who knows how long for the game to completely re-install for no particular reason…..
FYI: Cannot even uninstall the game because of connection issues. So just having to wait it out.
I’m in Missouri, but I have CenturyLink and haven’t been able to connect to the game either. I can connect to Guild Wars 1, but not GW2.
I logged out at 2:30 CST and when I tried to log back in at 6:45 CST I got the same message, and as of 11:52 CST still cannot connect.
I was actually able to complete this yesterday. I just kept going back until I found it reset. It is a group event, however, and it would be in your best interest to announce it in map chat and in your guild chat for help.
I came here looking for help with Brisban Liberator, having exactly the same problem Dreamwolf has.
I didn’t have a problem with Hawke Liberator just now. Glad I didn’t have to deal with hilariously powerful level 81 mobs.
And, once again, I am 1 shot by lvl 80 harpies during a lvl 38 event.
Does Dune Soarer still show up once in a while? There were absolutely no bosses at all during the last sandstorm on my map. And it should have been Dune Soarer (at least, according to the wiki). Not everybody has the time (or patience) to play 6 hours in a row on the same map…
Those bosses in Dry Top are now on a timer/rotation, one will spawn every round. You’ll just have to catch the right round for Dune Soarer.

Lakoon’ta is up, and goes through the dialogue asking you to save her skritt friends, the skritt are in the cages, but the event isn’t spawning.
Hawke Liberator
Rescue the villagers and defeat harpy kidnappers (38) event is up, HOWEVER, the harpies are all lvl 81 and 1-shot anyone that attempts to mount a rescue.

Why not stop making new Black lion weapons for a while and bring back a few old BL weapon sets that we can’t anywhere but the trading post? It seems like that takes quite a bit of development to make. I mean, I could be wrong but I think that it’d be a win win for the community. There are quite a few weapons that I missed the first time around that I’d like to get a hold of and you could focus on Legendaries and your other content.
Its a win win! Not everyone will like my solution because in game greed. But this doesn’t make everyone happy either. And I think that rotating old BL weapons back in could be a good solution.
They cannot stop selling those BL skins because they have to pay for the PvP egame tournaments. Those $200,000 purses don’t come out of thin air.
So since legendary WEAPONS are now postponed, there is no sense in working on the 2 BACK PIECES or raids for ARMOR either? If you can’t deliver on the weapons I don’t see how those can be implemented any time soon.
I will be honest, right now the legendary journey is the only thing keeping me playing right now. The lack of content and the fact the the entire HoT story was dumped on us all at once was disappointing. Also, the focus on professional PvP has turned me off the little PvP I did do.
Now if there is a chance that the living story will contain some logical origins to the new specializations or, at least, some of Rytlock’s story in the mists, I might view this decision as acceptable, even commendable. However, if it’s some random story out of left field with no connection to the existing content, it will be yet another disapointment.
Lastly, having the short bow as the next legendary is laughable when only 2 classes can use it, and we were promised 3 at a time. I hope that this gets back on track very quickly regardless.
Kamohoali’i Kotaki III: Defeat Champion Captain Cork; event shows that it is active, but the mob is no where to be found.
QUIP III: Does anyone know if Skritt Trickery drop is bugged or if it just takes an insane amount of attempts or if it has to be from a certain Skritt Burglar? This is holding up my progress ATM. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I’m at the 3rd tier of collections and I need to craft a Confetti Pouch, but it requires Black Powder, which says is to be purchased from Thegren Topjaw at the Tela Range in Plains of Ashford. This NPC is the heart vendor and does NOT have Black Powder! So, until this Vendor’s offerings are updated I’m at a stand still. VERY disappointed when everything else seemed to be going so well. I HOPE this gets resolved soon.
So I have had no issues with the HoT release until yesterday’s patch. It was then that I started being booted from the game and not being able to reconnect. So, my suggestion would be this, since something is already critically broken, why not go ahead and make the Mad King’s Labyrinth give the xp towards Tyria masteries as it was intended? Either way, I hope this comes to a resolution soon since I have limited play time and it’s being eaten up by loading issues..

I love how everyone assumes I’m complaining about PvP only. I could care less about PvP, but since everyone is only addressing that…. MM Necros are OP right now, having 6 – 7 target bots following you around everywhere is insane, especially since Ranger spirits are no longer mobile and Engineer turrets have NEVER been mobile. And then there’s spirit weapon Guardians, again, follow around the player.
So, tell me again how AI builds aren’t viable???
As for winning or losing, Regardless of the build I play, I do pretty well 1v1 but since there is no 1v1 content, it’s, again, a moot point.

I would gladly forsake any new Elite Spec information if only you’d give us some of the upcoming new legendary weapons so I would know whether or not to keep waiting or go ahead and make what I want now. And I do hope that there are less class specific or race specific legendaries coming. And maybe even a more serious pistol legendary? PLEASE???
Let me clarify, I use p/s on my Engineer. I do NOT spam the 1 key on any class. I HAVE attempted to use all the other options on my Engineer. I’m a casual PvPer, so my skill level in PvP is not “high”. If Engineer is a class built around using kits exclusively, then they should have no weapons available (one of my original arguments). I realize there are many builds available, I’ve tried quite a few. As I mentioned before, Engineer is NOT MY MAIN. I used to be able to hold my own in PvP with my Engineer, now I’m just a cheap rug being ran over repeatedly. Even using kits and all the things that I’ve been FORCED to switch too.
I liked my turrets, I miss my turrets, I want my turrets back.
I don’t like kits, elixirs, and all the other things that take my weapon skills away.
You really can’t complain that ArenaNet is limiting your options when you’re really just limiting yourself.
I’m not limiting myself, I’m playing the way I want to play, which is how the game was advertised, which was the main draw for me. Now, unless I spam grenades or bombs or elixirs or flamethrower, I can’t play my engineer because I get destroyed by the OP kit/bundle set. I don’t see how playing with options that were made available is limiting myself. I’m supposed to be able to PLAY HOW I WANT, not how Anet dictates it.
Here is my thoughts/opinions: Anet is going to nerf Engineers into the ground until they finally remove them from the game.
I used to love my engineer, wasn’t my main, but I enjoyed playing it when the mood struck me. I ran turrets. Yes, I know, (insert rant against turrets here), but that was MY play style. I don’t like kits, elixirs, and all the other things that take my weapon skills away. With this last patch I can no longer “play the way I want to play”. Why bother giving Engineers weapons when they do NOTHING??? It feels to me that all engineers are being forced to use kit/bundle skills as opposed to weapon skills.
If they don’t want Engineers using weapons, remove weapons, why even give them a choice? Now we have an upcoming expansion and a potential new weapon. Really? WHAT’S THE POINT? Most engineers are spamming grenades, flamethrower or mortar kit now anyway so it’s just another weapon that won’t be used.
But, hey, I’m a minority in the Engineer world. Still, this is how I feel, in an abridged version.

I was able to get in earlier in the day, but only got 1 of the karka, and when I went back there was a mob at the door trying to get in. I know several people that have completed the achievement already. The 2 you linked I was able to get without issue.
The door to Lion’s Shadow Bead & Breakfast is bugged. No one is able to interact with it to give the password to enter to get the Karkas that are inside.

The Scarlet Holo fight begins 5 minutes after the first Knight’s death; originally, this was not an issue because a map divided into groups of three would take down the Knights within 5 minutes of each other. However, with recent player tactic changes, the first Knight is dying as much as 10 minutes before players get up to the Breachmaker, meaning that you will portal up into an active fight, possibly die before you load in, and you can lose time on the Scarlet Holo Fight timer. We are working on ways to make sure that players will have much less risk to portal up to an in progress fight.
For the time being, I encourage you to encourage your fellow players to wait to kill the first Knight until a time where the other two Knights are closer to death. If you can get the Prime attunement in under 5 minutes from the first Assault Knight’s death, you will portal up to a grace period and you will have some time to load in and prepare yourself before the Prime Hologram begins her onslaught. Again, it is an issue we are aware of and should improve with the Assault Knight fixes.
So, what you’re saying is, that the Holo fight starts regardless if anyone is in there to fight it so when/if people do go in, they insta-lose the achievement?
At least GW2 has, up until now, kept PvP & PvE separate.
As an avid PvEr, I dislike the unorganized riot mentality of WvW. How, to survive, MOST people have to join up with a zerg. I also dislike the egos and attitudes of the so-called “commanders”. I don’t mind PvP in a small scale, but when 4 or 5 or more players kill a solo running player it isn’t skill, it’s mob mentality.
As for LS in WvW, I despise it. Most of it is hard enough without the added threat of other players who are only looking to rank up. On the other hand, I’ve heard many WvWers complain LOUDLY about the upcoming LS content.
This game is becoming less and less about playing how you want and more and more about being forced into a certain play style. And if/when they introduce dueling in open PvE I will probably quit playing as that is what I hated about other MMOs. Obnoxious children following me around challenging me while I’m trying to lvl or do events is tedious.
Please do not nerf Vigor anymore! Vigor continues to get decreased in every class (and yes, I play EVERY class) but dodge dependent content is continuously added.
Also, can you please make it to where Thieves, specifically, cannot finish you while in stealth? Finishing someone should count as an attack, pulling them out of stealth. Also, taking damage should pull a thief out of stealth. If neither of these are an option, then give Rangers or Engineers an ability that allows them to detect creatures/players in stealth?
And why does it matter if people use all 6 of one rune? I thought this game was supposed to allow us to “Play the way we want?” If I want to have 2 each of 3 different runes, it shouldn’t matter to anyone but me.
Well, that WAS the case… Until July 23rd.
Stealth for 3s, that only lasts 3s half the time.
A blast finisher that, again, only goes off half the time.
I did just fine with my longbow the way it was.
But, hey, great changes. NOT.
Why not make the sPvP changes in sPvP only and leave the PvE stuff ALONE?
