Honestly this match up went from exhilarating to exhausting in 2 weeks. How can we fix this?

Send us your puppies as a peace offering and we’ll let you keep a fortified tower on your home borderlands. We’ll even keep the graffiti to a minimum.

One thing I’ve noticed is that most of JQs killer guilds peel off of a zerg that gets too big and starts steam rolling and go else where to hunt. My respect to you guys. After all good guilds go out to prove themselves not just to win. Well done guys I love you for it. Being from a good sized guild I know how boring it can be to lacking in a decent brawl. Hats off to ya!

I actually enjoy being greatly outnumbered by jq and pushing them back. Feels more epic. Last night we held onto wood haven forever with 15 ppl in our bl against 30 and then another jq zerg joined in. We where like “how many people do you need!?” It was so much fun pushing them away and pulling back. I’m just glad they can be disorganized outside eb otherwise it would have ended real fast! Just wish Anet would reward holding on vs overwhelming odds in the future.

Hmm before you reply to my post, try reading it, very constructive.

Wish arena would tell us what they had in mind for the changes. Can’t imagine their team of testers is as big as 3 tier 1 servers. We might have some good input if the let us in their testing cult.

I wish instead of everyone throwing mud we would get it together and try to come up with solutions to balancing it out so we can suggest it to arena net. I cant imagine jq is having fun steam rolling everyone either. I know completely stomping TC and SBI in tier 2 due to our population advantage was pretty boring to SoR. We need to come up with ideas to make it competitive when there is a pop mismatch. Otherwise wvw is gonna get old for everyone really soon.

To any SoR or BG that come to T1 and complains about JQ’s coverage:

I have a second acct on TC because I have another set of friends there that I play with.
Lets be honest, its not like T2 has equal coverage all the time. When you rotate into 4th place, I dont see you going to T2 and saying “oh we feel super bad about them waking up every morning with a 10 tick, lets not play from midnight to 6am.” TC gets up every morning, starts taking thier stuff back and fighting, and puts up a good fight all day long. With great fun attitudes on top of that. Maybe you should all take a lesson from them. And if your “night crew” that propelled you into T1 isnt good enough for T1 do something about it. Did you really think T1 wasnt gonna be harder than T2? Your tears here make me laugh because I also know what goes on in T2.

Everyone else – amazing fights all around. Its been great watching SoR grow and become the strong server they are now. To our sisters and brothers over there from JQ, I am proud of you all!

If they made the out manned buff actually worth something no one would complain at all. Heck if you got out manned and suddenly the waypoints in you keeps opened for free that would be a start! And would make things competitive a wee bit.

Get real guys, you can’t be effective 2v1 as well as be effective in wvw. If you got time to read what server is running red you can’t communicate it fast enough. If you don’t have the red=dead mentality you won’t have the reflexes to play wvw.

I hope they give engineers love soon. Compared to my other 80s they are very sad. Too bad too its my favorite class…

Unrelated but some perspective in regards to pre-emptive tears in this thread.
6 hours before this screenshot JQ was at 100 PPT. Yesterday ( weekend ) like any other day there were instances of undermanned. Winning T1 has always been about having the coverage or artificially creating it throughout the weak aka shifts.
True. I am glad for the good match up and unfortunately it will only last a week. Who knows how many people in the tier 1 will lose interest all together in the coming months after the big shake up. Man what a pity we won’t have such gracious and smart opponents for much longer. Being outnumbered occasionally will keep all tier 1 servers sharp.

Just out from a battle for bay on SoR BL. As I go to sleep you guys might be capping it back, unless FOO stops you of course :P

We can’t complain about lack of coverage. It will make us no better then those who complained about us in tier 2. We prob have better coverage then JQ for 1/3rd the time. If we are out manned we need to suck it up and fight like hell gorilla style and wait till we are at full strength. I’m an off peak guy I love the challenge!

Underestimating SoR would be a huge error for t1. They benefited as much as jq from stacking before the end of free transfers and have a real desire to win this tier this week because its their opportunity to stick in t1 for a long time if they do. Their server loyal guilds (TW/CHOO/FEAR) are all equally capable of dominating other guilds on any map and work together noticeably well. There one weakness is probably the very thing that got them there, the influx of softer transfers but they are still a force to be reckoned with. Don’t expect their enthusiasm or presence to wane during the week.

PINK you have always been a classy act as well as a pain in the butt to play against. Miss you guys..sort of.

I understand what you are saying. We had no heads up about free transfers closing trust me. The reason we tried to recruit so hard was in reaction to BG swarming us so much. As it turns out when people found out about the transfers closing we already had contacted a lot of guilds and they decided it was now or never and came over.

Hey when we where getting stomped by BG for months what kept me going was
“Hey at least I’m not paying $15 bucks a month to play with Pandas”

Can’t wait finally to beat FA next week after losing to them while I was on CD last week, and losing to them 3 times in a row while on Yaks Bend. If there were 4 way matchups it would be TC, CD, YB vs FA, because FA hates all 3 of those servers. Fort Aspenwood were best buddies with Crystal Desert till they ruined the event, so sad, now a river of lava is between them, and I don’t think they get on good with TC either.

Back on topic, good playing sanctum of rall, apart from your mindless zergs of 50 people, i went around ganking in vista island today SoR BL, you guys are good as, you took out my 2500 power, 1900 vitallity 1700 toughness Mesmer in single 1 vs 1 matches! I was shocked when I lost to a warrior and a ranger. I wish all the people on your server that aren’t in a guild, or talking, and just mindlessly following the zergs would leave, so you guys were back where you were, almost equal to us, and with quality

To PINK and there hit and run tactics in SoR BL last night. Well done. Seemed like you where EVERYWHERE. Great gorilla warfare. My group was getting dizzy chasing and recapping after you!

Ya TC turned it up a notch last night. That was fun, painful,expensive fun!

Wish we would stop using “zerg” so much. It sorta belittles us a bit. We are in T2 for Pete’s sake. The “zergs” in T2 are usually led by a commander on TSpeak or such. When is see a big group from TC with PINK guild tags scattered in it I don’t say "oh well another mindless “zerg” I say “holy crap that an army!”
