Woot for SBI tonight and better fights in North American primetime for Sanctum! Sadly I don’t think Blackgate will last very long in T1 but here’s hoping.
The number of people that can take the portal either needs to be reduced or the rendering needs to be improved so people appear without a lagbomb. It’s just not fun to die before the enemies that killed you even load on your screen.

Portal lag bombs are not fun and make players fight rendering rather than other players. Please stop abusing them as your “defense.”

Uncontested on Sanctum again but doubt it does you much good since I think the server is still full.

Not sure where you think these “fair weather” players are coming from since SoR has been “Full” pretty much this entire match-up, preventing any new transfers.
So has Tarnished Coast for that matter. The difference is the vast majority of TC gave up and aren’t fighting despite having the players to do so.
Eredon on the otherhand is a ghost town. Sadly they will continue to ruin brackets as they fall down the tiers. Kaineg has more fight in them than Eredon.
Send a few Platinum Doubloons our way and we might be convinced to pull off and let you visit your old camp for a bit…

SoR has passed SoS in rating and if the match ended currently would jump to T2 fighting HoD & Blackgate. Likely the more balanced match would be the T3 bracket with (SoS/SoR)-Eredon-TC. Perhaps we should let the wookie win…
Wow, go Nine Dragons, Kiwi, and the SoR “night crew!” SoR took the lead back when SoS certainly has a strong presence.
And yeah Ghedoriah, you have fun with Blackgate. Their match-up’s score this week against HoD & Eredon is rather depressing.
Hrmm, SoR getting second this week actually wouldn’t be so bad… SoS would go to T2 with their round the clock zergball and Crystal Desert with their lack of a sustained population would fall to T4. That’d make way for an SoR-Eredon-Tarnished Coast match-up that looks promising to me!

Most of this weekend the most fearsome adversary was whether the zergball of “Professionals” rendered or not.

Yaks was beat the prior week without any transfers or “bandwagoners.” This week they just folded like a house of cards and didn’t bother to organize a fight back after Sanctum took the lead.
And it has nothing to do with 24-hour coverage. Yaks didn’t show up most nights even in primetime. The reason Yaks is “outnumbered” is because they didn’t bother to show up.
Vigilance has been on Sanctum since Day 1.
A few of the Guilds from JQ that recently joined Sanctum used to be our staunchest advesaries in other games. So it’s just as weird for us to see a Commander name in teamchat that previously was a person to kill on sight… :p~
Wasn’t DRGN a Yak’s Guild? Last night on Sanctum I saw recruitment spam from them.
Guilds leaving JQ for Sanctum is one thing, but Guilds leaving Yaks for Sanctum makes no sense, especially during a week that they’re fighting each other.

Stonemist defenses are impossible after the latest patch. Last night an army of invisible attackers waltzed right past our defensive siege unseen. Please make this a priority to fix as large scale wvw is unplayable after the recent patch.

That depends largely on Northern Shiverpeaks and I’m sure plenty of ZoS have a soft spot for Yaks Bend. :p~
Northern Shiverpeaks jumping a tier? And yeah, how do you have SoR falling a tier when they’re in first place by a huge margin? There’s a chance even that SoR and Ehmry could switch tiers.
Locking server transfers can’t happen soon enough! I’m sure there are plenty of SoF that are just deciding to avoid wvw with the score and maps as they are. But some bandwagoners have clearly transferred to “winning” servers where they can complete jumping puzzles and map exploration. Last week there was an army of SoF out everywhere you turned and last night they had the outmanned buff on two of their maps in primetime. :-(
A proper guesting system and paid transfers need to be implemented quickitteno keep servers relatively balanced. Last night an entire guild hopped off Stormbluff to join Sanctum and as much as I’m happy for more players in wvw, bandwagoners making larger queues for a server doing well aint cool.
Yes yes, that’s all very nice and well but inquiring minds want to know what’s the current score!
The other instances in Black Citadel all loaded fine for me while trying to get map completion for the zone. However the Ash Tribune Quarters repeatedly got stuck at the loading screen and despite waiting never actually created the instance.

Darkhaven’s nightzergers still have a considerable lead this week despite being generally terrible and having the lowest point tally to add to their score during primetime when they actually face players instead of NPCs.
I wouldn’t hold your breath for a new matchup next week. Darkhaven currently has the lowest overall score of the three servers. Even if their nightcapping carries them to victory this week, it likely won’t change the overall point standings enough for new opponents in the bracket.
Unless Northern Shiverpeaks gets a crazy high score or Ehmry Bay gets smoked I’d expect to see more of the same for this group next match-up.
Ashanor: Sanctum’s queues largely depend on the map. Sometimes they’re instant even in primetime and sometimes the queue can be over 30 minutes (usually when one of the large Guilds is gathering on a certain map). I’ve never waited over an hour in a queue though. That’s just craziness and no server is worth such a long wait to play.
That said if you’re looking for a “competitive” server none of these 3 servers are probably for you since they’re all fairly lowly ranked by the silly scoring system. SoR is neither a ‘zergserver’ nor a ‘24-hour nightcapper,’ so the majority of our points come from doing well in primetime and on the weekends. Darkhaven is generally terrible in primetime, but get plenty of points zerging undefended resources in the middle of the night. SF has solid numbers in primetime but also lacks a round the clock presence and frequently seem totally disorganized despite having plenty of people on the maps.
Bugged chain on Sanctum also. The better question might if there are any servers where the chain isn’t stuck?
I’ll generously provide some Ambien to the half-naked Norn zergleader so he can get on a normal sleep cycle. :p
Those pesky Darkhaven nightowls. The scores and rankings are close enough that they’ll likely be paired with Sanctum again next match, with maybe Sorrows and Ehmry Bay switching spots? Either way here’s hoping for some more great primetime action regardless of the scores from other time brackets.
There’s an awesome Mesmer named ‘Jumping Puzzle’ that plops a portal down at the base of the cliff and teleports people up to the very top, bypassing the vast majority of the puzzle.
This seems like a perfectly legitimate and clever use of a profession’s skill rather than ‘exploitive’ to me.
This is so feline fracking frusterating! We just sieged Garrison, had it completely cleared out of enemies (no orb or altar issues) and the Lord is totally invulnerable to damage.

Er, no. We refer to Fort Aspenwood as the “Zombie Army.” They’re an endless fountain of badges and keep coming back after repeatedly being wiped. FA should move up a bracket but I imagine they won’t do very well against another “24-hour server” with equivalent queue times.
Building balistas and arrowcarts at your own portal and shooting people loading into the jumping puzzle is just poor form. Burn the Witch (BTW) on Fort Aspenwood has set up balistas, a trebuchet, and superior arrowcarts on their own platform basically annihilating anyone zoning in to the middle platform.
And once siege is established, its fairly difficult to zone in and build countering siege before its destroyed. This area needs siege deployment blocked to prevent unsporting players like this.

7 of the 8 matchups currently have the leader with more points than their two opponents combined, so it would seem that they are quite successfully beating down two servers simultaneously.
Not true. For our pairing, the team that has the big lead is frequently in third place, having the fewest points to add to their tally during primetime hours. A big lead doesn’t mean anything more than you’re successful at taking the entire map in off-peak hours and keeping it until lesser populated servers are active again.
The dungeon team is just bad. Most boss encounters simply entail beating on a mob with more life than the trash mobs leading up to it. There are very few novel or fun mechanics in the vast majority of fights, regardless of the dungeon.
There’s also very little incentive or reason to run them. Unless you need tokens required for the Legendary process, or want a particular piece for the look, there’s little reason to gather a group and run through a path once you’ve already experienced it.

Card approval failure prevents buying gems. Please remove the ridiculous fraud prevention block so I can buy more gems. It should not be this incredibly aggravating for players to give your more money.
This is absurd. The card worked fine for a few transactions and then the card approval errors started and have been ongoing for over a week. Even if I use another card, it gives the same error. The cards aren’t declined (as my bank doesn’t even see the attempted transaction and work with every other merchant) it just fails to complete. I’ve never had a company make it so extremely difficult to try to give them more money.
What a huge disappointment. A level 19 Blue? Really? This can’t possibly be itemized correctly or the intended reward in exotic loot bags for finishing a Storyline.
Update: The buy orders I had finally posted (almost 24 hours later) and cancelling them returned the gold I was missing. The issue was causes by trying to place multiple orders that didn’t appear to go through when submitted but actually did. So for those missing Gold hopefully your error will be the same and you can get your buy orders back or else end up with several items of whatever you were buying.
The Trading Post is back up and over 5 gold is gone. I have no buy orders. I have nothing to pick up. And yet the gold just vanished. This needs to be restored. It’s entirely not fair for ArenaNet to charge people real money to buy gold or have them spend time earning it only to have to disappear to poor bugging.
