Hey Everyone,
I have an interesting theory that may catch your eye. Maybe you have thought of this before maybe not.

One of my most loved professions from the original guild wars was the ritualist, and I was super bummed, like many, when the ritualist didn’t make an appearance until I started doing some research and realized that the ritualist is actually in the game and was introduced in HOT.

Yes, that’s right, I’m talking about the revenant!

My theory is that the revenant is walking down the same path that the ritualist did from their very beginning. If you look at the lore for the ritualist it states “Before magic, the Ritualists focused on channeling spirits from the Mists. They relied upon the strength and wisdom granted to them by their powerful ancestors whom maintained a connection to their descendants. Through their spirits, the Ritualists were able to practice magic, or something close to it. When magic was granted by the gods, many of the original abilities were strengthened and merged into their modern form. Though still relying on the power of the dead, their original skills are no longer a visible part of the profession”.
The revenant when it first started was only able to channel spirits of their ancestors and use their strength and wisdom to use “something close to magic”. It didn’t have magical utility skills of its own. Now, with the latest new elite specialization we see that the revenant is making actual physical spirits. The same kind of path that the ritualist went down from the very beginning, and now it is starting to manifest itself into what the ritualist we once knew and loved were. It isn’t there yet but I feel that the revenant will eventually become the ritualist.

Every time I try opening the application, I put in my password and username. Then when i select a character it keep refreshing itself. Then when it finally loads into the game it gives me the error that the game can not log into the “log in server” then it kicks me out the game. Please help me fix this problem.

Hey Devs and GW2 Community,

I was wondering if there was some kind of pin or something I could wear on my uniform at work with the Guild Wars 2 guardian or some kind of healing symbol on it. Even the “Light of Deliverance” skill symbol would work. I am an Emergency Medical Tech at a hospital and another Tech has the Star Trek healing symbol on his uniform in the form of a pin. I was wondering if anyone has come up with one from Guild Wars 2 .

Ever since the new update and such the gem store is not working at all I tried deleting the support file and it still doesn’t work at all.

Once I log in and click the character I want it gives me the error c0000094 and shuts the application down. please help me fix this right away so I can work on my Well/Mark Necro

The title is the line that appears when I open up guild wars and select a character to play.

ever since the last update the gems are not working again…. is something wrong? i updated the wrapper before the last update.. do i have to do it again?

I have been having this problem as well. The page is completely blank and the redeem button does not work for the redeem codes.

I tried deleting the app support for gw2 and opening the game back up. That didn’t work. Every time I open the game now it says it is updating or downloading tg update… Is that suppose to happen. it takes a few seconds then goes to the game. I have been away for about two months so I figure I have missed a lot.. I hope this problem can get fixed though.

EDIT: The TG update fixed the problem.

Well that is dumb. What if I do build ram please, then at another tower I do build ram please… Now I am suppressed and can’t command…. That doesn’t make any sense….

So what ticks the suppression off? I’m curious to know how exactly how it works

So it sounds like this is an on going problem with multiple situations. I hope we can get the attention of the designers to fix this problem. I purchase gems every month because I love this game. If I didn’t I wouldn’t do so. I’m not complaining on something small either. This seems to be a big problem with a lot of people and I hope we can get it resolved.

1 hour a part?? How is that spam then? That doesn’t make sense at all…. If that is spam good thing we don’t have a spam filter on tv ads… Lol all of them would be suppressed. Not to mention NPCs spam your say chat all the time. Take LA for example each time you past the herald when you are going between the trading post and crafting stations it says " Heare ye Hear ye herald beckons insert character name here_" that never gets suppressed.

If by spamming you mean “build acs in the lords room please” twice then yea…. That was what I said before getting suppressed. I was also suppressed once when control clicking the siege I had to a commander who asked for it… There are definitely some major flaws in the suppression system.

Yea it is a big pain in the rear because after talking to fellow commanders and such they all have the same problem. It sucks to see spam all the time but it sucks even more to be commanding or doing something that requires map or say chat to coordinate things and you get suppressed…. I don’t think it is right.

Dear Guild Wars 2 Designers,

Please explain to me why messages get suppressed in WVW when people use the say and map chat for commanding and tactics? I was commanding without a tag yesterday in the Eternal Battlegrounds through our map chat and when I was trying to rally my people in the tower Lord’s room my messages were suppressed. I had 15 people following me and this suppression caused us to loose a tower in our lands and caused mass chaos instead of order and coordination. I understand GW2 wants to try and cut on spam but there is a place and time to do it but WVW and other places where people may be commanding is not the place to do it in my opinion..

Please get this fixed.

Lets have some fun! Since we all play GW2 and maybe you were like me and played GW as well. I’m sure we have thought of jokes or funny things about the game from time to time. Here you can post jokes or funny comments geared towards the game. Nothing posted here should be against the creators of the game or anything nor should they be demeaning towards the game as well. This is just a place for light hearted fun. Also feel free to comment on anything you thought was funny and like the joke as well.

I’ll start.

Q: What do you call it when a necromancer goes into a shadow refuge?
A: Going Incognecro

Q: In GW1 every dead body was an opportunity for a necromancer. So what do you call a Bone Minion with out a death nova?
A: A wasted opportunity.

I think Necromancers should be able to have more of a minion army than they do. This could help a lot because generally casters are squishy and necros could have more minions for croud control…. Or at least make the minions stronger.

Hello Guild Wars 2 Universe,

First off, I played GW1, all of them, and loved it and I am loving GW2 so far except for the Tier 8 situation in WVW… I’m in the Ferguson’s Crossing server. (Explains for itself) The point of this forum is to discuss Life Siphoning in the Necromancer Class.

First, Does Life Siphoning count as healing? If not is there a way to increase Life Siphon other than the trait Bloodthirst and if not what would the point of having healing on a Minion Master with Life Siponing Minions?

Second, I’m running D/D with secondary as staff. I’m thinking of running d/d with secondary if s/d. Which do you think is better?

Third, any other advice for a Minion Master in GW2? I had a MM in GW1 and I miss the amount if minions I had in GW1, but I am glad to be able to have a minion master in GW2.
