Who cares what it breaks as long as the person who plays it feels good about his own character? U think ppl will actually spam-change races if it cost 1600 gems/change?
U said it yourself. There is already a way to make another race……by deleting…remaking..releveling…loosing bag slots and so on…so why not make it easier for a price?
It’s like going into a huge path link on your computer to get to an .exe instead of just using a shortcut.
People are already complaining that there are things that need to be fixed/modified in game. You want A.net to spend their time because you don’t like the race of a character? Make a new character and move on. I think what it is has to do with a convenience factor and then we will have these players switching – too lazy to make a new character.
If A.Net does this, I think it should be the most expensive item in game – 100K gems.
I recently deleted a lvl 80 character that I could no longer play (I finished the PS with it and everything). The name and the Race were connected, so even if I had a race changer, I wouldn’t have done it.
this could be a feature that brign a-net money, i dont mind spendign 20 dollars on it, and why should it be the most expensive your argument seems more guided by hate than reason, i dont think a game is a place to talk about lazyness, i play for fun nto for chores thats the main reason i dont play other grindy mmos. not asking anet to do it for free i asked it for be for gems wich i wil pay

im pretty sure “how npcs interacts with you” is not a problem, if one wants to change races most likely means he/she doesnt like the cultural amror as well so losing it shouldnt be a problem, having one that resets your story line, delets your cultural gear would be still great. personally what i want is to change races keeping my commander tag, bag slot, lv and name don’t care about the rest,
You realize that by deleting a character you get that name opportunity back, as well as lvling which is very, very easy. You just lose the bag slot and the 100g

I don’t think people understand that it isn’t that easy to just “resest” a personal story. It’s not just personal story it’s everything in the game linked towards your race. How other NPC’s interact with you, cultural armor, etc. And as Jokke said they won’t do race changes , sorry.
So true – also character slots are not that expensive. You can just roll a new character. IF we were limited in the number of character slots, I could see this. As it is now – no way as you have an option that is cheaper and easier for the programmers/developers to deal with, a new slot.
its not about not having slots for a new one its about keeping your name , commander tag, bag slots, crafting lv, and not have to spend tiem lving a character wich you dotn care about doing, maybe it could be an option to buy a kit that transfers your tag, bag slots, cmd tag, the lv, and name to a new character

It would be really great if you could add to the gemstore a kit wich changes the race of your character
and now i cant use skills in eb at all even out of fights…. anet come on wtf

i have been on either gold, silver or bronze league wvw servers, recently was in sfr, why is there pretty much no latency on sfr while on (for example)ag there is significant skill delay.
we all payed the gamed the same price, buy gems, why are we getting the bottom of the barrel of your servers?
Do you really wish for all wvw ppl to go to tier1 servers only, to have a proper wvw exeprience or think that on other leagues ppl just dont play?
Come to Aurora Glade, its pretty much ran moslty by guild groups and 1 commander for pugs, a roaming team that organizes with the rest would be a great addition to our force,
you could put up doantinos to upgrade your servers, a lot of ppl me included wil eb very happy to donate
all teh time some ppl in a part of the world keep getting dced by connection error thsi time its my turn in italy, it is frustrating when in wvw with long ques,
until you fix this you wotn see a penny fomr me, plz stop being cheap on servers, do an update that wil fix it and lto of ppl wil buy gems ,me included
forgot to mention after i use cure condition adn stunt breaker i stil cant move
This is happening not only to me, but more often than not after being immobilzied or stunned i cant move unless i use a leap skill or get knocked out of place, teh character animation shows me standign with legs together
wow abaddon very decent of you to tranfer to ros and order upgrades on towers like quentin jsu tnow before attackign to drain supplies , i hope you are very proud of yourselfs and feel good for teh capture
as for the discuss of professions, warrior is jsut the far esier to play, and build, oteh classes are as good or builds can be even better jsut apply some thinkign to yoru runes sigil and traits, berzerker armro isnt always the answer as ther are combos in trait lines , runes and or skills wich can imprive your dps having a large tank as well, or by other means to benefit your survival.
spend less time complaining in here about classes and more on your build

you are not making decent cash if you ar ento one of those ppl who farm cof 5 hours a day let m eexpalin
teh value of your gold is directly linked to the amount of gold ppl have, 500g is a lot onoy because very few have that amount of money, but as cof path 1 farming continues mroe ppl will have 500g by playing a boring stale and not fun game, while the ppl who are having fun earn a lot less making theire bying power lower and lower no matter what they do.
so basically you are supporting (assumed you dotn farm cof path 1 5 hours a day) having less and less gold each day, as you can see the tp prices rise faster than you can make gold, and no theres no more items in game as well to balance it as the primary target of farmers is the silvers dropped from bosses and chest with are far greater than the loot
also you are supproting a sweatshop type of gameplay, go work in one of you enjoy it so much! you can get more gold by buying gems later
for the rest of us wich are a LOT , we would liek this game to keep being fun with multiple things to do and anti farming

fractals is a very good idea for example exept i dotn like that to advance you need agony resistance wich to get involves farming a lot of materials or jsut hoping that a specific item drops, my opinion is that dungoens should get harde and harder perhaps with better rewards along the way but its not that improtant for me, perhaps a title that shows that you completed a very hard thing? why is looking for 1000 boars to kill wich drop a fortune is so popular? how can it be fun?
There’s no reason to nerf cof. Just buff some of the other dungeons so they’re some incentive to run them.

cof money drops should be remvoed as ppl are frmaing it for hours , making the game dull and boring, and if you choose not to your gold is worthless as it loses value faster than you gain more of it, i bought this game cause of the non farming mentality it was advertized as, a lot of ppl i knwo left the game for this reason feeling lied to,

havign ascendant gear in wvw doesnt make a difference, i was jsut making an example with precursers, my main point is the only way to make gold right now is famrign cof path 1 for hours or the amount you make get less in value faster than you gain more ( sorry if my english isnt perfect im not english or american ) so ppl who are nto farmign cof have almost no buying power , ruining the market , as the drops farmed in cof are mainly the silver you get from monsters and or chests
think why has gw2 lost so many ppl it because of things like this
and cause if i want a legendary why must i famr for hours cof for the precursers or the price will rise every time higher than the gold i got? content shouldnt be nto acceclible if you dotn famr , this game was based on an anti farming basis thats why i bought it in the first place but seeing it revert to these dull forms of mmo makes me sad

if you enjoy doign the same thign over and over its fine but it cant be that so you either do that or be left behind, for excample you cant afford precursers unless you keep farming cof like a lot of ppl do
ppl are jsut farming it making 6 minute runs for hours , if you dont you get behind in gold and makes all the rpices rise a LOT.
PLZ make it harder or with a lot less rewards because right now its repeat doign the same path of the same dungeon with only 1 class with 1 build or you cant afford anything, you can see yourself on the famous lfg website
also theres no effect when wielded!!!
dear game devs the torch rodgort costs as much to make as ny otehr legendary upon creating one i found out the effect are much less impressive than all the toerh weapons, plz fix teh footsteps can be barely seen!!!! and the torch as well
