I have the two most expensive pieces of T3 now, and I think they should be more expensive. They are just for looks, not for their stats. There’s not much to understand with that, I don’t see how it’s causing confusion. If you don’t like the look, then don’t buy it.
The only thing I agree on is making them ONLY skins, like HoM gear. Because yes, the stats are trash, and if you have enough gold to even buy a piece of cultural gear you should understand that by then.
That’s basically what I was saying – either make them skin only, or make them available as exotic. But not give us useless pieces of scrap metal and make us buy another max armor AND transmutation stones.
Shameless Bump, this needs a Dev answer. I want my T3 exotic :C
I don’t think race adjustments are really an option due to personal story and racial rewards…if you can’t even decide on a race at character creation…
I really wanted to have the “Eir” outfit just for the skin and I do hope they lower the price..
I’d actually be okay with paying the current price, IF the item had exotic stats. There are always very expensive armor sets, and there need to be some rewards that take a lot of work to get them – but after farming up more than 100 gold, you should at least have max stats.
I just don’t get it. Why can’t we have at least max stats when we buy armor for 100gold++? Those are clearly endgame rewards, why don’t they have endgame stats?
Inb4 “you can transmute them on your armor”. I know that. But why would I buy an expensive Ferrari with a slow engine, then take the frame off and put it over some cheap car that has a better engine? It just doesn’t make any sense. Why add this annoying extra step?
Cultural weapons and armor are not an option since they are not available in exotic,
which is the maximum stat level of equipment, regardless of the origin.
They will certainly make a return – They’re included in every micro transactions system ever and Anet made quite some money with it in GW1 I guess. Considering their main income post launch-hype will be micro-transactions, it’s pretty safe to assume that we’ll see those soon.
