I like the T2 and the T3 cultural heavy helmets a lot. I don’t really see the problem?
To be honest, I don’t think this will ever happen in GW2. It would be silly, to say the least… But I can understand that you want to show of your awesome tattoos though.
All T2 cultural chests shows a fair amount of skin, mainly around the belly area for females. For males, the arena fighter style lvl 80 exotic chestpiece is pretty good for showing of tattoos.
I got about seven keys by doing story missions and exploring with different alts. One key from that main story with my ranger, one with my guardian etc… It adds up fast.
Didn’t get any fancy fancy charr och quagan backpack though (Not like I expected it either, really…)
Are you sure it’s your character and not anything else? Sounds very odd.
Butter would become the new currency.
People will always find a new way
Buy buy buy! It’s the coolest thing in the entire game. Beats both Sunrise and Twillight hands down!
That’s at least what I think. It’s entirely up to you mate!
- When you fix the transmutation system.
It’s very obvious that you made it this way because you would make the most money out of it.
You have to get transmutation stones worth about 5 gold just to change your looks once, not to mention that there is no way for you to save your old looks other than buying a whole new set of exotics worth around 30 gold in total.
And the more sets of gear you save, the more bankslots you need. Bankslots are very expensive. The gold you need adds up fast.
Please ArenaNet. Allow us to change the looks of our gear without having to pay gold every time and without filling up our bankslots.
But I guess that at the end of the day the only thing that matters is how you can squeeze the highest amount of gold from the players as possible… No offense.
I know that it’s entirely possble to do this without paying a single dollar, but I think that it is very tempting for most players with the high gold exchange costs.

You mean monthly, right?
In that case I am in support of this as long as HotW is not in the rotation.
It actually has something like that: gifts (10g recipes from Miyani), they are account bound and you have to craft them yourself. No way to buy them from the TP.
Really? I had no idéa. I’m going to check it out next time I log in
This is a great Idéa and I really wish to see it happen! The current system is a mess in my opinion. We shouldn’t be forced to pay every time we want to change a skin, but rather pay every time we aquire a new skin.
(Tip to ANET: give us more skins. More skins = more transmutations = more transmutaion stone sales = more crystal sales = more money.)
A 40 silver fee would have been understanable if the professions actually gave you an advantage like in World of Warcraft. If you were an enchanter you would have access to special enchants to use on your own gear only. Alchemists could do a 24H CD transmitaion.
Guildwars don’t have these perks and it makes me feel like the only reason to pick up a profession is the experience you get from it…
You could probably save a couple of gold right after launch, but not now
I’m in the same boat. It only happens sometimes though.
Flickering fractures with Radeon 7970 card

I’ve quite recently bought a new videocard, an 7970, for my computer. When I am playing GW2 something wierd happens sometimes, please have a look at the pictures I attached. The screen flashes very fast in those colors whenever I move the camera. At some places there are walls of color as you can see. What could be causing this? Do/did you have/had the same problem?
Some notes:
- I have the 13.2 drivers installed (cleaned old drivers before I installed the new ones).
- It only happens outside.
- I have seen it happen in these zones: Holebrak, Lionsarch, Dissea pleau, Kessex hills.
- It disapears if I Alt+Tab in and out.
- It happens rarely.
- It only happens in GW2. I used to have problems in other games but the new ATI drivers solved those.
On pictures 1 and 2 the “fractures” are attacking the screen. On the third picture we see a wall of “fractures” and a line going through the picture.
I recognize this. I remeber one time where I targtetet one centuar and then charged the other one next to him. My Ranger shoots the wrong target sometimes aswell. It might have to do with me pressing the attack button to soon and the character just selects a random target, but I’m not sure.
Targeting have just felt sloppy in general since I started my ranger. I will play some more and try to find out whats actually causing this.
I use a side mouse button. Works great!
yeah but, who actually finishes their storyline ?? lol
I guess I have on one character.
Same here. Did it once and probably never again. After claw island the story gets very dull and boring IMO.
And honestly, I don’t really see why your personal story would be an issue. Wouldn’t a simple reset work?
So Karma is finally useful again? Yay!
Edit: I’ve looked into some weapon vendors and they are all pretty bad looking in my opinion (Norn, Pirate, Lionguard)
So I decided to try a different trait build and needed some new gear. I have a lot of karma and thought that I could put it to good use now by spending it on the armor in Orr, but then I realised that Orr is completly abandoned and all the temples are contested.
My question is, what do I do with my karma now? Not only did I struggle with finding any actual use for karma when I wasn’t intrested in the Orr gear, and now when I am I can’t even buy them. I dont have the gold for legendarys and I dont really need any profession materials . Any ideas? Sorry for my bad spelling and grammar.
Wow how unpredictable. Ofcourse its gonna crash, its anet we are talking about after all
Give us the option to only hear our own abilites and attacks. Hearing swosidhsujdhgsyd7itftsud every time I go into battle with 4 other people isnt supernice. Works for shooters, but not for Mmorpg imo.
And yeah. I agree with the guy at the top, it’s just going to get even more and more repetive.
The voice fits the race perfeclty in my opinion and the voice was exaclty was I was expecting. Female norns are quite manly after all

I always jump (No dodging etc) into the clock tower right when the lightning strike happens. I have very low ping so it might not work for other people though. It might be wise to jump a bit earlier since I usualy end up at the corner of the clock.
Me and my friends had LOTS of fun with the clock tower, laughing our kitten of as we and others failed misserably. Well, at least until we had all failed like 10 times and wanted to throw our mice into our monitors. Two of us gave up before me and one more finally made it into the tower. The reward in the chest was nothing special, but it felt great that we finally made it after so manny failed atempts.
Sorry for my bad spelling and grammar, english is not my native language
I agree! I was starting to get a bit bored, and then this patch showed up keeping me busy for days. Keep the good work up, Anet!
