This is more of the type of reply I was expecting in this thread. And I’d have to agree with it. Maybe not the whole, “you’re both jerks” thing, because we still don’t have all the details, but I was wondering what place this had on gw2 discussion. Were you wanting us to discuss how mean your guild officer was or what? This probably could’ve been handled with a report or something if there was a serious problem of abuse here.

You can report people for kicking you just before the dungeon ends, though really refusing to ress doesn’t make you look any better than them.

I’d say it depends on the details. If he died at the beginning of the battle and then sat there for 10 minutes while the other members killed the boss, then I’d understand not wanting to res him. He didn’t help at all with the fight, so the least you could do is make him run from the waypoint.

But we don’t really have all the details here…

So by this logic, people who win the lottery should have a different type of currency because it’s not fair that I have to work for my money and they just got lucky… Regardless of how kRiza spelled it, this is still a pretty absurd idea.

Don’t really know what kind of tonics you’re refering to. But last night I ran MK dungeon for like 5 runs and exchanged around 250 candy corns with the kids and got 2-3 rare tonics. One of them transformed me to a small ghost, like the bedsheet, but nothing really outstanding. The rest I haven’t used and seen what they will transform to.

They’re talking about the endless halloween tonic. It’s one tonic that NEVER gets used up and can transform you into any of the halloween costumes randomly, except apparently the ghost costume I guess…?

I was kinda curious if its rebuilding would be part of Act 4 since Act 4 kinda sounds likes a breather day of the final event. I don’t really feel that like anything too worse can happen at this stage, I mean ppl are beating Mad King Thorn x305825082, I doubt he’ll be coming out anytime soon. xD

That would make the most sense, considering the only achievement left it seems we need to get is “attend the party”.

Queensdale is definitely the best place to go to get to the mad king’s realm quickly. There are portals everywhere. once there, you’ll see an npc standing on a rock. Talk to him, and he’ll give you options. Inquisition and Reaper’s Rumble are both pretty fun pvp events that you might want to check out. This npc is also how you get to the clock tower.

To your right of the npc, you’ll find a stone circle which is the portal down to the labyrinth. That’s mostly running around and killing halloween mobs. Every haunted door that opens in the labyrinth will start one of the door events. A champion will also spawn at the top of the hill in the middle, and you can loot a pretty nice chest once a day there.

The dungeon is right in the middle of lion’s arch. You shouldn’t have any problem finding that or finding people to do it with you. There’s also a giant cauldron that you can jump into to put on a halloween costume. While in costume, you can brawl other people in costumes. Mostly, that seems to be for the brawling achievement, but it is pretty fun to try out at least.

Act 4 hasn’t happened yet. That should start on Wednesday (10/31). I think that’s pretty much it…

Well, it magically exploded to form a gateway to another realm, so I wouldn’t be too upset if it magically fixed itself once we closed the realm.

Edit: On the other hand, that’d make for a pretty cool world event. Make it take a HUGE amount of gathering materials so that the whole server can help to rebuild the statue.

I’m guessing that you’re trying to do the halloween scavenger hunt? My best guess would be to ask around lion’s arch. Since that’s the main area for the halloween event, there’s a good chance you’ll find other people who also still need to go to sparkfly fen.

Edit: I’d also help if I could, but I’m at work for another 5 hours… :’(

I’ve heard mesmers are actually pretty hard to play at low levels, and the personal quests seem to be built around much stronger classes half the time. I still have a heck of a time with personal quests with my elementalist, even if the quest is lower level than I am. My warrior breezes through everything, though.

If you want a more relaxing “just kill things” type of style, perhaps you should try something other than mesmer or elementalist, since those two seem to be the most strategy-centric classes.
