WvW: What aspects of Edge of The Mists do you think could carry over to the rest of WvW and how?

-Reward chests at the end of a tower or other structures.
On my own server I noticed this was a big reason for going edge of the mist instead of the normal WvW so implementing this in the normal maps might help get more people in WvW.

-Supply generators, the Pack Dolyak could be replaced with a guard paroling the route normally followed by the dolyak giving small group or solo players still something to do.

Dungeon feedback

One of the thing’s I enjoy most in this game are dungeons, some time ago I even got my dungeon master title.
So far I must say great job!
Especially on the flame and frost dungeon and before that the sorrow’s embrace story this is by far one of my favorite story’s I done so far(with the forge-man of the original gw1). In a way it felt like flame and frost evolved that type of boss fight to the next level without making it ridiculously kitten the player experience, I think this is due to the fact that the mobs in the dungeon help you get familiar with the ’’boss’’ mechanic’s.

This is something I miss with the new sky pirate dungeon.
Since for most people I played with (my self included) its just to hard. The mobs are rough but ok, (you just have to figure out who to kill first) still the boss fights are what bother me the most. compare to the flame and frost there is no learning curve at all. So most people will feel like there been thrown into the dark. (usually resulting in a whipe and lots of frustration.)
Don’t get me wrong I enjoy the way the new content is been rolled out as fast as its been done right know. However I would like it if the difficulty or at least the learning curve of the dungeons is better then the sky pirate dungeon offers know, and more in the lines of what the flame and frost content gave us.

Aetherblade Retreat - Inspector ellen stuck.

Had the stuck bug several times, it seems to me it only happens if no party members run with ellen the moment the door opens. thus she will wait for the the party resulting in the bug.
Also seems that on the final boss fight the first mate does not respawn the moment you kill him first. (forcing your party to fail so the boss resets)

Some things from gw1

So some of the idea’s and game mechanic’s I really liked back in gw1 could in some form make the game play experience better in gw2.

1.build saving/templates. this option was there in gw1 I don’t know in what form this could be brought back into gw2 however it would already make me really happy if I was able to switch my traits on the fly (when inside a dungeon for example) without having to travel back to any of the major city’s.
(a few extra tabs you can swap between could be an easy solution)

2. Replay-able story, currently only the dungeon’s have a repayable story however with the current down scaling system as it is it shouldn’t be to hard to give players to option to re-experience there old personal story.

3.Guild members – last login time. Somewhat more of a smaller issue I and my fellow guild members ran into. Since you can’t really see who’s been offline for a long time, making it hard to keep track of your active members and in-active members.

4. And last on the list, some form of elite mission(s) or dungeon(s) for larger groups then 5, currently the closest thing I could think of right know is Arah explorer mode.
However it would be nice to see a similar type of dungeon like Urgoz or the Deep from back in gw1 (something that feels just as rewarding and massive as thous elite missions).

Guild bounty suggestion

Like to make a suggestion for the guild bounty, as of know you need to do higher tiers in order to get more guild Merits.
It would be nice if the lower tiers would also reward some merits if they are completed again in the same week.
(This would also make it somewhat more easier for smaller guilds to get there merits and thus buy upgrades and buffs for there guild)

In my own guild for example we like to run it twice a week so all members have a change to get there guild commendations, even thou there is no actual reward for the guild currency in return.

Also just like to say great job on the whole guild mission thing we love it

Commander interface

Currently there is no way to see who’s in your squad as a commander.
My suggestion make it appear like the small health/name bars, like the onces you have when your in a big team in spvp.
A kick option would also be nice, since there is non atm, and making your squad members appear as blue dots on te map.

Guild stash improvement (suggestion)

Noticed that our guild stash contains tons of crafting materials, another research that would allow guilds to store these in a different tab (like your personal bank) would be a nice addition.

Guild members inactivity time

Just like the topic title say’s there is currently no way of telling how long your members have been inactive or in other words how long they have been offline/not representing your guild.
This was available in guild wars 1 and in a way a good system specially for large guild so you could kick those inactive members or a way of ‘’social security’’ for your more active members since it might show that something is going on in there personal live
(if your that involved with your members)

Since I do not have the recipe yet myself has this already been updated or is it something we can expect in a future patch?
