Yes, my server ended at 8th place, then 7th and then again at 7th place, so i was able to craft only 3 mistforged hero’s weapon… and since then, no more P_P
About achievements… already done all from edge and many from www (still working to complete the kingmaker and the camp counselor; I give up for the ultimate dominator: after 4 years I just have only 37k kills XD)…
So, about your suggestion, only “retro-rewards” or new achievement for me ^^
I have already done that track, but my problem is the gift of heroes because from wiki/dulfy it seem the only way to purchase that is by www tournament tickets…
So I would like to know if Anet is willing to give us another way to get those weapons or just more www tournaments in the future.
Personally, even some special www event could be a reasonable (and funny?) way to upgrade weapon hero; but I’m here to gather info, not to give more suggestions to Anet.

They’ve already explicitly stated that they have no interest in improving dungeons at all, so this is not going to happen.

Reduce gold reward is just the first (and easy) way… maybe they will increase dng tokens coming from pvp tracks in the future, for example…
Honestly, I want to play new content because it is better, not because old content is ruined…
I’ve been playing Tempest with scepter/warhorn: it is fun, especially with the tornado’s addition (more tornado for more Tempest now!!!), but it is also slow and I feel the lack of no conditions removal…
I would like also to see more new “tools”, especially with the elite rebound, so here my suggestions (minor changes for great effect):
1- speed up warhorn skill (also several scepter’s skills need a speed up)
2- add some way to remove conditions, maybe from warhorn (water globe?) and shout (Wash the pain?) or with a trait (ex. : make all shouts remove 1 condition, like rune of the trooper)
3- improve rebound deathblow’s effect (it is not easy to trigger and it is an elite skill); maybe with an additional effect like retalation or quickness or stealing enemy’s buff (if a necro can transfer condition to enemy, an ele could transfer buff from an enemy :P)
4- improve overloads by improving tornado/field effects and by reducing channel time to 3s and cooldown time to 12s (together are already 15s of penalty!!!)
So I guess all I’m left to do now is wonder what went so horribly wrong.
- ArenaNet lost control over their own forum. They undid the contract with the company that designed and mantained this forum, which is why they cannot add new features or fix bugs (notice how the “forum bug” posts, correcting a bug in which the forum stops showing posts when a topic reaches a new page, are still around; the forum search is still broken, too). Do you honestly think Blizzard would ever have allowed that to happen, much less allowed their own forum to not belong to them for years?
Really? Not to be rude, but it is hard to believe that a commercial company, or better, a software house don’t control his own forum…

Since the game is recycling the “celebration” here is a recycled post of mine from this time last year.
It’s sort of like the difference between a small town and a big city.
The Devs in Guild Wars 1 took the time to celebrate with us. It was more intimate and meaningful.
Here it feels like they are rushing from place to place. Got to do this. Got to do that. They don’t seem to understand the importance of building a community. Of taking time to mark the important anniversaries.
Imo, while the birthday blaster was a nice gift, the others were…… well, they almost like an afterthought, or even commercial. Leveling scrolls (again!) for which most people will need to buy character slots to use. Soulbound skill points (really???). Birthday boosters (nice but utilitarian. Sort of like getting socks).
There is a distinct lack of lightheartedness surrounding this birthday. It’s as if they wouldn’t have bothered with it if people hadn’t so obviously expected something. It was a chore. Something to be ticked off a list. So they went to a meeting and got the chore done. The item on the list was ticked off.
No celebration. No special events. No special drops. No birthday quests. Just an emailed present with several of the items identical to last years.
Happy birthday, ANet.

But honestly, many of “old Anet” aren’t here anymore and I doubt “newcomers” are so “romantics” with GW2 (and I would like to see a list of Anet’ staff every 6 months just for my curiosity :P).
Also, I don’t understand Anet’s priority: so much for April’s Fool Day and so little for this… uhm… Sellebration?

First, time-gated charged quartz is a minor issue: at worst, it prevents instant gratification in creating celestial gear. That said, the benefits of gating are equally minor, especially considering that the charged quartz is account bound.
Probably the only reason the time gate remains is that it would take some effort to remove it; there are probably several bits of code that need to be tested after making even this minor adjustment.
In other words, we’re stuck with the time gate on celestial because we are.
I believe this: at this point, i don’t see any good reason to mantain this time gate.
Anet can always introduce more ways to gain crystals if necessary.
Also, the “Daddy Warbucks” have no problems to make any other stat from day one, if I remember correctly.
So the only anomaly (for exotic gear) is celestial gear and personally the only anomaly that i like to see is a certain focus skin…
They were released once, ages ago, and never again. Powertraders bought up supply and relisted it at ridiculous prices. Such is the life of a rare skin.

As always, rarity (suppli going down) and re-sellers… same for special dyes, for example.
I do enjoy the changes to allow different builds in each game-mode, but it is not the same as templates; which would switch your gear/weapons, traits and utilities, etc.
Tenplates dont have to change hear, simply changes traits and utilities is all that is needed, since in SPVP we dont even use gear.
players can do that themselves. We just want the basic stuff of changing traits and utilities.

It’s nice to have 1 build saved for each mode, really, but it is more a partial feature for me.
I just hope that Anet will change their priority in their “feature’s list to add”
For what matter, I also would like to see some update for underwater content… but no new skins for sub weapons suggest otherwise.
I like it because when you learn how to play in sub environment you learn how to play in a “different world”. Better than SAB, for me.

Almost every single traitline got buffed like mad and some very niche, pointless and poor builds got changed around. I don’t see a problem. Most people I’ve talked to love the specialisation system, after adjusting their various builds to fit with it.

RIP ranger traps(throwable)so…..buff? what buff. forcing us to play “League builds” instead of our old “less effective but more fitting to our own playstyle” build?
Just for curiosity… How about ppl using “less effective” builds and crying on forums because ppl kick/avoid them?

back when i only got kicked 30% of time i’d just jump to next group
but now. they see 2 pistols and its kick time…and i’ve abandoned the class entirely.

Yes, it’s true… and for a more generic discussion about medium armor: Marauder set and Stalwart set can be obtained only by personal story, but if wiki is correct, even in this way you can’t complete the Marauder set.

But still bugged for others merchants, like the karma vendor Lionguard Micah near Delanian Waypoint in the Kessex Hills…
During my fashion collector hunt I find two sets of armor “bugged”:
1- I can’t unlock the skin of the head piece for the Rogue armor set because there is not the option “unlock skin” in the menù after right click… and then, I can’t find a such piece as loot drop but just by karma vendor
2- Head piece and shoulder piece of the Studded armor set don’t drop anymore as loot, the only way to obtain them is now by personal story
All others Loot armors sets are working perfectly, and I had no problems with light/heavy Looot armor sets.
Maybe isn’t a great surprise if you consider that breather apparatus is still blue/green rarity only… never a priority, but after 9 months…
Every update I run to check ascended earrings… I just want valkyrie for my ele and rabid/carrion for my necro XD
Btw, It’s not funny that we can’t craft our best equipment with our professions… mystic forge should be used just for skin (and for that, no problem if such recipes are expensive), at least for me.

Personally, I agree that there are bugs more annoying actually, but maybe, just for this month, Anet can reduce or remove this specific achievement temporarily, if it needs to much time to be fixed.
After all, it is just a reward for who is already playing this game, nothing so game-breaking… but I’m happy that they are aware of this problem (I wasn’t sure reading wiki).
I agree also that survivor change your way to play… no risk to help players or fight big avents/boss or jumping puzzle… this is also against co-operation between random players (this was already true in guild wars 1: no pugs during survivor title).
Everytime I log off, it is like to die… so i cannot complete the experience survivor for this month… only me?
I hope it is a bug, because i cannot play enough hours to collect enough experience in just one session…
