I have decided to try to get 12 points in Halls of Momunent, I have never played GW, but I get the feeling that most of the game is solo? So I have some questions

Which profession is should I play? (I only have prophecies and Eye of the North)

Is it possible to get 12 points with just Prophecies and Eye of the North or do I need factions and Nightfall?

Been playing since beta and only been kicked once after joining SE p1 on my main(mesmer), I was the 2nd to join in lfg and 3 others join after me and then decided to kick me for no reason, lucky for me, I got invited back by the player who made the group only to get kicked again and then invited back again xD

I have seen them too, in frostgorge sound.

I have the problem, I keep getting the message:

“This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.”

This is something I would pay for, I would love to change my character’s appearance.

People whine too much instead of getting better, I have no problems with mesmers, my character is a mesmer, I have played other proffs too, it’s all about spotting the real mesmer, clones doesn’t dogde or run, pretty easy to spot the real one and focus on him.
And to the guy who mentioned his high ranked group whining about a mesmer, again this game isn’t about ranks, but skills.

As the title says are we mesmers OP or is it a learn to play issue?
Do you guys usually gets insults thrown at you when you play your mesmer in sPvP?
I want to know what you others think.

I agree too, GS/staff is great, I have been playing with GS/staff, now trying sword+pistol/staff, since pistol does a lot of damage, but thinking going back to GS/staff.

I want to know why people keep asking for specs and ranks in pvp, I don’t mind the spec part, but asking for rank, when rank doesn’t mean anything?
Yeah I know there will be a lot of you who will be saying “Yes it means more exprience, better chance to get a skilled player” but seriously I have seen players with rank 15+ getting owned by someone who is rank2-5 and yet people seem to keep asking for rank? Am I missing something?

The game is pretty new, I play with a spec that suits my playstyle what should I answer if someone asks for spec, I know there are specs such as support and condition, sorry if I seem like a noob, I’m just confusion about the rank part, because how I see it, it doesn’t always means that higher ranked player=more skills.

People seem to brag about their high rank and when they get beated by a lower rank player they always seem to insult the player, calling him/her a noob.
