In the showcase about the Scrapper, they clearly stated it was going to scale quite a bit with healing power. Maybe it’s just not that prioritated or they changed their mind!

Third leap states it makes a combo finisher in combo fields yet yields no effect for doing so.
We’ve seen the first three of the Tier 2 Legendary Weapons. ArenaNet has stated they will release more in small bundles “as they go”. Personally this is a very vague term to use.
When do you think more will come? What legendaries are you hoping to get released soon?
also, are they hardcoded to not drop loot?
Nothing drops loot if you dont kill it.

So when HoT will be released along with the fresh set of legendary weapons. Do you think they will still need a precursor, Gift of the legendary, Mastery and Fortune like the existing ones? Or will have something completely new required? The precursors have already been confirmed and and I like the way they wrote about how to actually make them.
But since I’m excited about the new legendaries, I’ve been saving money for them. Not making any Gifts in the Mystic Forge because I’m not sure if I’ll need them. But money is a safe bet to what’s needed.
What do you guys think?
As it stand, it’s the only 2 legendary weapons (aside from the aquatic ones) Without any footsteps. I guess the ministrel now has an “aura” of music that actually surrounds the wielder, but the shield doesn’t. It glows very nicely, yes. But I think both the shield and focus needs some love.
I saw a new backpack skin in the PvP Locker, PvP Decorative Molten Jetpack, I need this. How can I get it outside PvP? O_O

Although Super Speed does not grant you more than 33% faster. But you will always run 33% faster, even if you’re in combat, crippled and chilled.
Swiftness is pretty much it. You can have perma swiftness using the Speedy Kits trait. We also have a few mobility skills such as Jump Shot (Switch to a kit and swap back during mid-air for a VERY small speed advantage) and Acid Bomb (Elixir Gun skill 4, If you’re using it right you can turn your character around and use it without losing speed but actually gaining. this is pretty difficult to do though).
Norns are just as fast as anyone else.
When I’m escorting dolyaks, I know that I get bronze-silver reward if I speedbuff the dolyak 3 times. I always get gold if I defeat a foe that attacked the dolyak during it’s path. So obviously the reward scales with amount of participation, presence alone does nothing in the event. Let the WXP scale with the participation too!
You get WXP for killing the dolyaks which, in most cases, is a lot easier. Yet nothing for escorting.. It just makes no sense to me.

Expensive, but I still use it So I guess It’s nice. Main stat is Healing Power, secondary stats are toughness and condition damage. I like it a lot.
Even if it did, it would be 15% chance, once every 4 second. Not very great in my opinion.
Kazi, I’ve been running grenades and elixir gun in WvW a lot. Using full apothecary armor. Not that great condition damage but its decent. But giving up some of the damage, I can outheal the retaliation, so that’s pretty cool. I like the elixir gun as well
So a friend in my guild has arranged a 1v1 tournament within our guild plus the guilds in our alliance. I, as the given class, the Engineer, am having trouble choosing a build that gives me a fair chance countering whoever I face. The thing is, I hate playing with builds a lot of other players are using, (in this case HGH and SD). I know that the build I am doing best with is the HGH Grenadier. It’s a very very strong build, I cannot deny that. Call me crazy, but I’d rather lose this tournament with a build I like and feel comfortable with than to win with the “best” build most players use. And lately I’ve been a bit lost in my theorycrafting. I know I like rifle more than p/p or p/s and would love to make a build around that.
So I was just curious about what are your builds you feel most comfortable with are. Are you mainstreaming with SD/HGH or have you made your own arsenal? Please share!

And neither we can “pack up and move turrets at will”.
Look closely and you’ll see that armor is the 42k karma medium armor ^^ From the game itself.

no, I don’t think it does.
The trait that resets your toolbelt skills (15 points in Tools) resets that.
Not the one in Inventions…Bandage Self works just like any other tool belt skill:
It gets lower cooldown if you spend points in tools (to a min of 14 seconds, reduction of 30%).
It refunds 10% endurance if you spend 5 points in Tools.
It procs static discharge if you traited that.
And it resets at 25% if you traited INERTIAL CONVERTOR in Tools, which resets all toolbelt skills like Big old bomb, throw wrench, whatever….It is never counted as a ‘healing skil’.
Not for Automated Medical response, not for runes that proc on healing… just never.

But you get skill points as you progress through the world and unlock skills that way. But I get your point. Also that won’t work if you have money to spare, powerlevel yourself up by crafting and just unlock everything that way. It’s not the same thing.
So I got the feeling few days ago, when I was experimenting with builds and traits and I realized that I wished there were more skills to work a build around. I know there are a lot less skills in GW2 than we had in GW1, maybe because most of them might have a bigger impact on the battlefield but I had hoped our dear devs would eventually release some more in the future! What do you think about this? Is there anything more you feel you need for any class skillwise?

So I was wondering why you can only get Soldier (Power, Vitality and Toughness) armor for the Badges of Honor in WvW. I know the weapons have been patched so you can get zerker, carrion etc. But why not the armor as well?

We had a good laugh about it too… including the commander in question (in fact, I think he was rather pleased about being made famous). We don’t have TS speak recorded for you but apparently there was a lot of joy about still managing to take garrison… despite the commander set back (I was not fighting at the time – so just going on hearsay from the commander).
I was surprised my video got spread so much xD It was a good laugh indeed. Just wish I could hear their TS or see it from the commanders POV

Saw an enemy team hopping up this hill near our spawn in our borderland.
Ok so whenever I try to make a purchase I get the message saying “Card approval failed. We appreciate your continuing purchases. Please contact customer support to confirm you identity before making additional purchases.”
There’s no error message or anything, where do I do this?
Let’s just be all honest with each other, the new sound is nowhere near as cool as it was before with the pewpew sound. I made my Predator just for that reason, before it got footsteps and the glowing aura, I put down months endlessly grinding to get my Predator because I wanted that pewpew so badly. And now it just feels like a waste..
A-net, you’ve let me down on this one.. =/
I don’t get it, first you said there will be no grinding in Guild Wars 2. (I would not mind it if there were) But still you have plenty of ways to grind gold and materials. What you can’t really shut down is the group of players that actually WANTS to grind the content, most likely to get a lot of gold but some actually likes that playing style. Patch after patch, you seem to take away the rewards for grinding content.
Players who wish to grind the content are of course after some kind of reward for it.
You just made countless people lose faith and interest by doing this.

First of all, great work making this game ArenaNet, it’s everything I and alot of people had hoped it to be.
Straight to the point. The beauty of playing my favorite class, the Engineer is all the flexibility all the weapon kit skills can supply. But I think that the Flame Thrower, Elixir Gun, Tool Kit, Bomb Kit should automatically have the skill 1 set to auto-attack. Because right now I have to switch to the kit then Ctrl + Right click on the skill and it feels just like it would be better with them to be auto-attacks from the start.. Do you agree?
