Sorry, you guys ended up being in a mach up when we decided to start Karma farming.
I didn’t expect it to go over a day or two, but I guess the puggies wanted more of it… so there’s where this "huge zerg " illusion comes from.

While I find all the forum warriors really funny(all them QQs :P), FC really made us work for that keep the first day of the farm. I found it fun, especially since my guild leader finally got a challange to overcome(usually he’s just an LA rat, akitteng all the time). Haven’t been on the karma train since then tho.

GoM is bored of the match ups. And while some want us to rank up, some don’t really care about it much. I personally don’t care about ranks(I want them shinies).
We have a few dedicated WvW guilds, but the sad truth is that the more we win, the more PvE players will log into WvW. And it has been this way since launch.

If someone created a more defencive based guild for WvW, we’d fo far. But good luck to the person who’d get players just sitting in towers all day and manning Acs. ._.;

“titanlectro.5029” post really sums GoM current WvW state nicely.

People wo are complaining about achevements… I sugest you all go to GW1 and get the “God Walking Among Mere Mortals” title and you’ll be busy for a while.

If you have that, than go get all the legendaries avalable in GW2. Than we’ll talk about somethig trivial as JP ports.

They “fixed” the shoulders once, but they were stuck on the chest and you couldnt turn them off. Also they ruined the head. And I personally prefer it without shoulders

It’s not really “fixed” if it’s not working properly. :P
I’d like the shoulders to work like any other shoulders, with a nice toggle button.

Frankly, I don’t even know how they look on a female asura.

They should probably try playing GW2 ob low-edn computers, because this happens to mine a LOT. It’s annyoing watching your characters head sink when running. And I also get this ranomly while running places. I hope there’s something than actually can be done to fix this.

YES YES! I just recently bought my T3 top and I find it annoying to dye the way I want her to look. All I want is the shiny stuff to be a different color, I can change that on T1 but not T3.

And I’d love that shoulder piece fix! I wanna be able to see them.
I’d love for a dev to reply on this. I love that set… it’s an expencive set, yet so hard to work with. :/

I think some people have forgotten that we have been in a similar position that is currently facing ET and FC. And nobody and I mean NOBODY ever gave us a break.

Glad they got their map completion but I will be relieved when this match is over with.

Every time I log into GOM BL at night…theres hardly anybody playing and some GOM in map chat were imploring people NOT to attack.

I could understand if there was a scheduled FIGHT CLUB but there wasnt. I left of course…because people were being bullying about it but like I said….I will be relieved when this match is completed .

Just because other servers wouldn’t give US a break, it doesn’t we can’t give others. It’s like saying no one’s nice to me, so I have no reason to be nice to others.

I’ve been on GoM since 3-day headstart… I’ve never transfered even when it was free and I do remeber how horrible we were back then.

Give the people a break, it’s a game.. and Our server just ROFL- stomps everything atm anyway. It’s no fun for any one atm.

WHY? We have a 50K+ lead and we have almost everything in EB. Whats the point of taking it so serious?

While not let some ET get some map points they might not ever had the chance to get without transferring?

EDIT: the act itself doesn’t bother me at all, the fact that one guild held its opinions higher than everyone else’s does. GoM’s alliance isn’t a few guilds, it’s many. it would do well to remember that fact.

It wasn’t just one guild it was an alliance.
And GoM gained much more than we lost… Really we outman them so much we don’t need sieges.

Everyone was raging about them taking over… but once it was time to take stuff back, you guys sounded like you loved it. There’s nothing to do in WvW if we own everything.

Not trying to start a fight or anything, but it wasn’t that huge of a deal.
And to any GoM player that whined about loosing IRL money because of siege… Don’t waste it on WvW, it’d be gone in a week anyway.

I love the fact that GoM gave up the map for EB.
They were /bowing and /saluting us when they got that annoying last vista.

It’s rather scarry really. XD I hate getting hopeful even if I think I did well.
No matter how many people around me like my work… what the judges say is more important.

I am getting rather nervous, especialy not knowig when the results might be up.

I do want to se the best entries also. I did see what other people crafted but I do believe not everyone who participated posted it on a website for all to see.

I did enjoy a contest that was just about who can do the best digital art. Tho some complained about it. I wanted to participate in the Guild Wars 2 Alienware Diorama contest… but it was not avalable for where I live.

Having the CE for the grand prize is amazing. Especialy since the contest required you to sculpt(I know some people didn’t sculpt). The Rytlock statue looks amazing and I’d love to see how it was done, to admire the detail and study it.

I do see myself refrieshing the main page every 5 minutes for the result. XD

Well Anet isn’t the one judging it, it’s the sponsors.
But yeah… we had a deadline to meet and I wish I had more time to take better pictures.

I’m hoping to win, but mentaly preparing myself to loose. ><; I do hope the results will be out soon!

I think it would also solve that annoying “Soulbound to another character” if each character has his/her own armor/weapon storage.

I don’t know what’s so great about the title that makes everyone jump like it’s a legendary at this point… I’m walking around with “God Walking Among Mere Mortals”… and no one notices.

I used air dry clay(can’t get super sculpey in my country) and Epoxy Putty type clay.

I started with her head (made a ball out of paper and wrapped in clay) than made a wired anatomy based on my asura ingame. When I decided what pose I’d like her to have I used tape to hold the wiering in place. Than added clay and formed the basic body. Since the head and the body were made seperatly I had to attach it before going into detail. Making it stand in place with air dry clay is almost impossible since the weight and the long drying/hardening process takes so long. I used Epoxy Putty since it dries rock hard in a matter of minutes, adding good support to the neck.

Epoxy Putty is rather expencive so I only used it on the cape, neck, fingers, the scull on her pants and the rock she’s standing on.

There’s a wire sticking out of her left leg making her detachable from her stand. Basically she’s balancing in the whole thing. I can also easily remove the hat, cape and broom.

The reson I like air dry clay is that I can make a mesy sculpture and sand or carve it after it’s dry. It’s a rather fragile material and does take longer to dry depending on how much clay you added. It’s sometimes cracks easily while drying, but you can use that to make some awsome textures(like the hat).

I’m bad at taking pictures, but this is what I send in.

I do think if it was the original artists work the “charr” would look less like a werewolf. ^^;

I think that books from GW1. In the “Nolani Academy” mission you had to retreave the “Tome of the Fallen” witch is interesting because guardians use tomes.

The icon does however look like the weapon we’re searching for. So might be worth a shot to investigate when that event spawns.

Me and my boyfriend solved that puzzle in the brand(the one with the god shrines and a bunch of ghosts). Sadly the only thing we got was a veteran mob… and not one clue.

Also what are those NPCs in the Charr starting areas that lead you to places yet you gain nothing? There’s one near the AC dungeon (Priory Explorer), one is at the Priory camp next top the dungeon… and one’s at a Charr camp.
I thought if I followd them I’d be lead to a hint. But all they do is dig something and run back( I don’t even get a reward).

I even read all the Priory books hoping for clues… Sadly my order doesn’t teach me much about the stuff I’d like to know. XD

Can a dev give me a hint about how look for a hint? XD
Nah, I just kind of want to know how difficult they think they made the ingame hints.

While I do know a bit about the Foefire lore… Nothing screams of specific items. Unless I can somehow throw a ghost in the mystic forge and hope for the best?

The only thing that I can’t get out of my head is… why is there a ghost cat names Alfa? And why is it chasing a frog? And what is that sword with the “faded runic inscription”?

On the side note. I sure hope they made the whole set of these. I want my weapons to mach!
Even tho… A charr NPC told me that ghosts never go into water. Does that mean no trident or spear?

I’d really like to know an example of a hint.
Even when I was running around the Charr zones talking to every NPC that has something to say about the Foefire… I never got a feeling they were hinting at something more than what they’re ranting about.
Or am I going at this the wrong way and I shouldn’t be talking to NPCs?

look i agree on the pve closet like the pvp closet, but tbh i think the transmution is fine. if you want have the same look with diffent start you just need to have several sets of it. I totaly don’t see the problem of that, it just keeps giving you goals ^^.
While if you go with something like wandrobe it just cuts away like allot of those goals.
And there is a other point ppl keep qqing about you need to spend money for gems, tbh i just get them with gold in a slow phase. I have 180 just with gold now and i just keeps slowly rising while i do not even have a real goal for them. Since i come around with the bankspace i have and don’t feel the need atm for a additoin char slot. But when i start feeling the need for it i will be on track with gems to get them.

Not sure if I understand what you’re getting at. But since I might have not been too clear about my comment I’ll try and explain again.
I’d like to have several different armor sets(T1, T2, T3, dungeon armors…).
I do not want to have one “skin” to be saved for easier transmutation like let’s say the HoM stuff.
I’d like the “closet/wardrobe storage” to be there like the collections tab, but you’d only be able to put in one piece of the armor skin(because armor doesn’t stack).

Each character would have it’s own tab coresponding to what type of armor they wear “light, medium, heavy”. I wouldn’t even mind if you had to buy each characters “closet” seperatly. And if they’d add this feature for free… no complaints here.

TL;DL: All I really want is a better system for storing armors. I want to collect them and be able to store them seperatly from my other junk I’m hoarding in my bank. XD

I wouldn’t mind giving money for that kind of feature. That’s all.

I don’t mind having 15 armor pieces with different looks and different stats. Or even having to transmute them on my 8 characters. What I do mind is the lack of space. :/
If there was a PvE armor closet like the one in PvP, that would be great!

I’d even buy this kind of thing in the gem store if needed be.
I’d like to be able to buy a “Heavy Armor Storage” on my Guardian and a “Light Armor Storage” on my Mesmer. And I’d only have access to a particular one from each character.

For this kind of thing I don’t mind spending my real money on. It’s a good investment and it supports the game. I could dish out a few € every few months for a useful account upgrade like that. The 20 bank slots are just not doing it for me (and I bought 3).

I don’t think their art team is that bad that it would take them forever to create a “darker” version of the weapons like the great sword has.
I prersonaly want the staff and greatsword on my guardian, but my necromancer friend is quite unhappy with what is avalable.
The only thing he might make is a trident(snakes everywhere) but he wouldn’t see it 90% of the time.

I don’t think the greatswords should get all the love and I do hope they add more weapons.

I still think making the weapons should be a 100% recepie that makes the weapon account or soulbound on creation. Any thoughts?

Actually, yes. The first day the change was implimented I got 30 Ascalonian Tears instead of 60 and decided not to touch the dungeons till it got fixed.
Yesterday my boyfriend ran all 3 paths of Ascalon and didn’t get 60 tokens for each run. I think the lowest he got form the last run was 15 Tears.
He also ran a dungeon he’s never done before and still got 15 tokens.

The system works for some people but it’s really random for others. I hope it gets fixed soon. =/
