No, your condi rev does not eat ventari rev in one rotation. Unless you are a top 250 player up against a bronze ventari rev, I suppose then you’ll be able to do so yeah.
I’ve been exploiting this ventari build for a few days and I can confirm it’s OP and needs a nerf. I’m a platinum player, as in, other seasons before this build came I already managed to hit platinum. This season I didn’t care about my rank so I decided to troll a little and see how far I would get with the ventari rev build. It managed to get me into the top 250 with no real effort.
Even top 100 players get bullied and pushed off their points by my ventari rev. And I never die, unless I get focused by not just one, but two strong condi builds. It’s mostly condi reaper duos or a condi reaper + a condi rev that get to me. The CC, chill, torment and poison combo really screws with the ventari rev.
But a single condi rev? Pffff, ain’t doing nothing to me. Not even top 250 condi rev players. So you most certainly won’t.

Lets ignore that there is a core hammer guard build becoming very popular right now and that like every second guard in platinum adapted to it
Also Staff Guard with a bunker build is way more useful than several other weapons that arent meta

agreed the more I rank up in gold the more I get losing streaks, like each time I reach high tier in gold , BAM, keep losing and losing and losing no matter how HARD I try there’s is nothing to do, I get games like you describe EACH time you see my necro boting far or, people fighting at the entrance of our spawn….I thought I had skills and I can’t even get passed kitten gold because people are just not there at all
Calling it now. New specs don’t really have access to stability and ventari rev will be fullcapping points even if 5 enemies are around (in a 5v5), yet again a bunker build’s going to destroy the expansion launch season and suck the fun out of playing the game. No build should be able to spam AoE knockbacks every 3-5 seconds that happen to heal for ~20k and cleanse conditions.
Anet seems to have learned nothing from season 1 or the era of decap engis.
If only a healthy state of combat was something they even remotely cared about..
Would like to point that condi thief is more of a problem before they even touch ventari, you can out-rotate this build, also, in that video, the fact they 2v1’d for that long already means both of the players arent… Amazing. That game is also covering players from high-gold / low plat.
condi thief is more manageable than pistoleros for me spaming unlaod like this is just plain stupid

And if there’s no Condi classes on your team? Not even my burn guard can down a vent Rev 1v1 efficiently. At least not quick enough for a worth while.
Bunk Revs are basically a beefed up bunker Guardian back in 2014. Sure you can rotate around the punching bag but taking the point is futile. The “better” bunker Revs knows how to survive long enough in a 1v2 to matter while rotating around the map so the team can Zerg elsewhere for a snowball potential.
Bunk Revs are OP because there’s no efficient way to actually beat it… you just gotta work around it and pray your teammates don’t 1v1 him on a point he controls :/

cleanses……let me LOL constant application of condi > cleanses , condi needs a nerf….you should see my "burn " druid go with my lil spirit friend constantly applying burning on my target at 1200 with my staff……you think I am having fun? I am just laughing my ass out to see everyone melt by only using my staff on a condi spec druid…..5 – 6 stacks of burning is really a ll you need + plus bleed and poison I got ? come on condi are stupid atm….my burn druid is OP as **** skirm/nature/druid LoL Inferno Staff is real BB

I’m not going to call you anything, because that would be mean :P. What spec do you play? Because as a PvE Mallyx build, I am CONSTANTLY out. Without even using the elite skill.
Frankly, for what it does, Pain Absorption shouldn’t have such a steep energy cost. AT ALL. Using it ONCE almost completely kills my dps. lol
I talk pvp wise or WvW I dont pve…sage amulet/berserker rune Retrib/invo/coruption, hammer- mace/sword
yea pain absorption cost alot it’s a freakin break stun,if you could do it like 4-5 times it would be stupid and pretty sure anet doesn’t want us to sit in only 1 legend, the point is to create a sinergy between your 2 legends
you arwe not supposed to stay on a legend to build your energy to 100 cmon, swaping in combat will always gets you over 50, find your rotation….I mean….If I lack energy I played wrong
exemple…hammer/jalis I’ll taunt make an attack ,lay down the road, swap legend, unyelding,blast in,banish, when legend swap is rdy I swap while swaping weapons, taunt, etc I keep elite skill for break stuns on dwarf….always swaping , I suggest drop herald and go pure rev for pvp
using attacks requires lots of legends swap, it’s like you are going to do 2-3 attack skills ,swap legend, defense buff, attack skills(2-3), swap legend etc…when I am stayin on 1 legend it’s because I dont have lots of presure…and building energy goes pretty fast.
you need to find a good rotation thats all…and always swap legends, auto attacks ain’t a bad thing espacially on condi rev with mace,find ways to blind etc…but on renegade f2 f3 f4 shouldn’t cost….I barely used em
pretty neat set up for Hybrid good crit damage due to power and rune and more than enough condi to hurt, tons of CC’s, vengeful hammers now is really powerfull ,blind for ever,pulsating pest is clutch, I’ am wrecking everything in sight
why this trait does not apply on torch? it’s 1 handed…. if it work as intended you should change the description to fit your toughts (critical hit chance increased with 1 handed weapons….)
scepter 2 should be a symbol youre all going to say I’m noob but…in WvW I use sigil of doom on sword and earth on scepter…poison comes in handy to prevent some healing and my high crit rate when hitting a burning foe gives me 3 stacks of bleed on scpeter with2 not really THAT high damage but it adds a bit morre damage per tic and it burry my burning a little I think it comes in handy cause usually those 2 condi last longer than my burning so it’s up when burning is not…I swapping often IDK maybe I’ll change earth for something else tho

the kd is to prevent them from going stealth…and the hammer will command even if the guy is stealth if you did the command just before he went stealth just like on ranger with Rapid fire …and I don’t use the hammer to tank a zerg I use it only to interrupt or PREVENT some1 to go stealth even if it’s only once I can assure you it’s worth it I’m almost full dire+ undead rune so I’m tanky as hell and I nearly got 2k condi full stack….but seriously my build works really fine for me I got he skills to play it like that not every build can suit everyone and a poor player playing meta will still being kitten d if he sux when I lose 1 v 1 it’s not because my build sux it’s only player based skills and I win 95% of my 1 v 1 in WvW

thats only 1 golem he did this to like 5-6 golems no1 ever saw him on AR before. Him and his guild of losers came and start talking kitten to MY JULIE!!!!! then they sabotaged our golem rush please Anet pleeease do something to discourage losers like this, they are ruining your game and our fun people like Dante roam free without any concequences
I went almost full dire for WvW. sword torch/scepter focus with spirit (life saver) hammer I have no problem roaming, 1 v x or big fights my only real issues are signet necros… maybe forget it for GvG cause it’s a pretty selfish build but a big YES for me in zerg roaming and 1 v X I’m tanky as hell and my burning tics gets really high
Spvp (carrion ofc) —-> It’s a pug stomper and you know pug cry ALOT so prepare yourself for the flame.. other than that an half decent player can easily manage you..
Open Pve —-> Who care? Pve is the easiest thing on Gw2.. npc have no brain and give you almost no challenge, run what you like.. If you ask me you should go naked, it’s August and it’s pretty hot out there!
Dungeons —-> This isn’t the best set if you want to rush it, plus people always ask for “metahere, metathere”.. but if you just want to end it, again, run what you like..
