I decided to take a break from GW2 after a very fun couple of months due to the Ascendent Gear fiasco. I just wanted to know if anything has changed or if the changes they hinted at right after the uproar are still in the works.
1) Is all Ascendant Gear available through WvW?
if not:
2) Are there any other ways to get Ascendant Gear than Fractals?
3) Did they reduce the amount of time I would have to spend in dungeons (not something I enjoy) to get Ascendant Gear?

I’ve had situations where I have stayed in game with no activity for hours upon hours, well above 10. This is in game, not character screen.
The second half would suck.
It makes me miss grinding heroics. I hated heroics.
I have multiple friends who have gotten refunds, sadly I pre-purchased and was unable to.
150 tokens is super easy, I agree I wish that they had a “normal bag” but it’s not too bad having your greens go into different bags first. And Valandil, it is sooo easy to get past level 1. If you’re serious about the connection issues you have, whether it is Anet’s fault or your own, you need to find a new game.

0’s across the board, I play this game solely for WvW and adding new PvE only obtainable gear is a real head scratcher. I also am fine with all of the PvE grinders quitting and finding new games.
I don’t think there is anything to get from OP. Just a bad star wars reference for now reason. To be fair moons aren’t darker than the sky.

I truly cannot believe the entitlement that the above poster feels people are… entitled to.
I remember Orr being very frustrating for me when I first showed up. Honestly Orr gets much much easier once you develop an Orr strategy, I can run around Orr without dying on any of my 80’s now with a mix of dodging, good routes, and well timed heals.

I love when people act like they are “old school” and say a game shouldn’t reward people but should be painful. You aren’t even to tier 2 yet, why would it be hard? It’s like complaining the first level of mario is too easy… Get to level 2 newb.
Did you even read the first post? I’m at lvl 7 atm, I would like to see more challenge into it. Perhaps you should go back to pre-school and fix your reading comprehension.
Tier 2 means Fractal Level 10+ Tier 3 is 20+ etc…

Population dropped severely after the last event was over, that’s to be expected but I personally am going to take a break (after WvWing incessantly) until they alter how Ascendant gear is obtained.
It’s too bad that this happened to you, but you can’t act like this is anyone’s fault but your own…
