search for “blueprints” (with no filters), and siege comes right up. Regular, Superior, and Guild versions, all there.
Body size is antiproportional to intelligence
If this were indeed the case, a progeny’s intelligence would be as inflated as their overblown ego’s, and they would grow dumber as they grew larger. A wealth of observational data to the contrary shows that the first postulate is false in all but the most exceptional of subjects, and the ones who fall prey to the second tend to have suffered a severe cranial injury at some point.
Asura are optimally sized. The inferior races are far too large and are cumbersome because of it.
Optimal size varies depending upon the task requiring completion. The obvious solution to this problem is not to change ones inherent size, but to find a way to allow one to change their size at will.
There’s few strategies more effective than hamstringing your opponent.
Quite. A small size also presents a smaller target, which is helpful when trying to preserve your structural integrity.
Perhaps in addition to evaluating the amounts required, there should be additional Titles at lower tiers of the achievement. Instead of being the Ultimate Whatever you could be something a little less ultimate.
I have never seen a badge drop from guards, only supervisors and lords, the “bosses”.
When I don’t run in a big group I usually run around soloing camps and sentries (or do the same thing with a small havoc squad), defend things and run supply for repairs/refresh siege, or hit the JP.
Which class do you play? Because different classes have different abilities when downed.
An elementalist can mist form temporarily, a warrior can rally and then auto die after a few seconds, a ranger can call for their pet to help revive them, etc.
I don’t have a problem with it. Part of war and all that. Preferably it would be the two losing servers against the winning one, to balance out some of these lopsided matches we’ve been having. But obviously it doesn’t always go that way, which is unfortunate.
Of course rarely if ever is there an actual server agreement. It isn’t some Yalta conference where alliances are forged. Usually it’s two or a handful of commanders collaborating (hey, don’t hit us and we won’t hit you!), but it’s usually a limited time offer. This ceasefire/truce/alliance is usually limited to one map, and/or only lasts a few hours, at which point one of the collaborators leaves, and somebody decides the time is ripe to break the agreement (or someone else who doesn’t know there is an agreement does something), and everything goes back to normal.
As for whether it’s actually against the rules and what Anet intends, I really have no idea. The very first time I tried WvW a guildmate was complaining about how badly we were getting stomped. I asked why we didn’t team up with the other losing server that was also getting stomped and team up. He told me he thought it was against the rules, but when I looked into it I saw a lot of vague wording, and pages upon pages of people arguing about it.
I personally would rather like to explore the more diplomacy-esque side of things, with all the alliances, spying, counter-intelligence, betrayals, backstabbing, and other interesting opportunities that entails. But it seems like only a minority of the playerbase is also interested, and it’s “legality” is questionable.
It is not bugged. You will receive one extra chest, every time you level up (for a total of 2 each time) until you have gotten 39 extras. So when you hit level 79, you will only get one chest per level up from then onwards.
As far as I know, the JP’s reset when daily’s do, so every 24 hours.
On the funnier side, there could be a maniac that breaks into forts occasionally, starts yelling about “invader pigs,” and smacks at their set-up seige until killed. He should do minimal damage (unarmed) and be there more for flavor, just to make the invaders feel unwelcome by the local populace.
I am completely in favor of this idea.
Your note on armor repairs is awesome. When the outmanned buff is up, players push harder, have more engaging fights. They don’t worry about repairing their armor, so it’s a reason to go in head first. If armor repairs are free in WvW, though, a lot of people are going to pop into a BL just for the free repair then leave and go back to PvE. Adding some kind of guild/server buff might work, or putting a few “repair vouchers” into each reward chest might help.
Could avoid that problem by making it so that you just don’t sustain armor damage while in WvW, like the outmanned buff already does. This means that if you got damaged doing something out in PvE land, you still have to pay for it to fix it.
