I think the time’s right now. On the other side are players waiting for the release of the reservation since head start because they had 2 GW 1 Accounts and only could use the names of 1.

Or there are names reserved which will never be used by the original GW 1 player.

And the original message was: “1 Day after Launch-Day” not a few days or weeks. 1 Day ! So people knew that names will be released and had plenty of time to get them.

We get news next week about that topic.

But i would be happy if they reopen that Thread so we have one Thread instead of having every few weeks a new Thread like that which will be closed anyways.

That thread is closed and everyone ist waiting for the “Timeframe”
But i wonder what the reason is to hold them back
1 1/2 months have passed and those who didn’t claim there name yet won’t do it anymore.

I also had 8 Characters in GW 1 and I’m not using even 1 of the names…with some i use the same second name so others are free to take them.
I think the time should be soon to release them seeing as the game slowly starts looking good. Less updates aswell.

Just click “Skip to the End” then you’re naming your character with 2 clicks
/sign to the rest

that could mean they announce it soon or we keep checking everyday for months
so basically we know nothing. :/

Or at least tell us if you announce it so we can prepare ourselves for another name-grabbing day. Would be a pity to come home from work and after weeks of daily checking read “in use”

his wife wants to use a name of HIS account therefore he probably linked HIS gw 1 account to his gw 2 account and his wife has a second gw 2 account.

i’m not sure but i don’t think you can link 2 gw 1 accounts to 1 gw 2 account…
a lot of people are waiting for the gw 1 names to be released but who knows when…
we get nothing precise.

I’m also starting to get annoyed I think 2 weeks is enough time to get your GW 1 name and it’s most of the time the users fault that they’re hacked so though luck.

Everyone’s saying GW 2 ist a completely new game so cut the roots to GW 1 already.
I’m cecking everyday if the name’s free and the chances are high that those people don’t even play GW 2 or have taken a completely different name.
