It should be enough to run Guild Wars 2 but running and enjoying are always 2 different things.
I know it’s always a matter of how much money you can and want to spend. The problem with this configuration is that it might be enough now. But what if the new expansion has bigger levels, more enemies, bigger fights. For low-end systems this always results in even lower graphics settings and less details etc. So at the end your great and beautiful GW2 graphics might end up as some low quality goo on your screen.
To make it short: Yes, it should run on this system but it won’t be lots of fun. Especially when going to world boss events it won’t run smooth. To be honest, the specs you posted are some of an already outdated computer. Gamers would replace these computers now to get new ones.
If you want a system where it starts to be fun you should consider something like:
AMD A8 / AMD FX 8-core or even better Intel i5 or i7
extra graphics adapter like nvidia gtx 470 or even better 970
8 GB of RAM
and optional (to load maps faster) kitten-Harddrive.If you stay somewhere in between these specs you should get a good experience. The higher you go the better it will be. And the longer it will take until you need a new computer.
Can you list some gaming pc you think will be good with the game and my price range is 400-500 if you reply thanks
Do you need a complete PC with everything or only components of which you can assemble the computer?
400-500 of what currency?
And in what country do you want to buy the computer?I checked some computers in the UK
AMD Computer Link 1
Intel i5 Computer Link 2The AMD Computer only has a quad-core (4-core) processor, that could be a bit better..
The Intel Computer only has 4GB of RAM… 8 would be fine…And both don’t have an operating system, so you would have to get windows and install it yourself.
400-500 pound / euro for a complete system and good in gaming is almost impossible.
Because if we start to calculate: 100 for windows, 50 (maybe even 100) for case and power supply, 50 for harddrive, and that’s already half our budget. We still need mainboard, cpu, ram, graphics adapter, etc.
If you know someone who can assemble a computer from its parts its always cheaper, so maybe check if that’s an option for you too.
Or start with a computer like one of these mentioned above and when you saved some money, upgrade some components. Adding a better graphics adapter or upgrading RAM is something everyone can do.
400-500 US dollars
United states Columbia And i need a computer that’s already assembled

Let me now plz
I wish to make my second lvl 80 but he’s or she’s a rang class so i want to know whats the best class i know all class have their own pros and cons but i want one that fits me
I love to do a ton of damage over time and for a direct hit
I love to Go in a team and solo a bit
Love a well arounded class like for pvp pve Wve
And a good race for one of the class If you put a picture of your ranger and maybe i can figure out which armor look the best on the race
And i know the Expansion pack is coming out but Pls for my sake
i like full beard or circle beard but i dont know which one should go with my warior
(edited by FlamingMelon.4792)
Can you help me choose between a warrior or guardian i like to do damage and catch up to opponent fast, finish a fight fast and do a tons of damage and look cool doing it
I like both but i don’t know which on i should lvl first their both fun.
i like to cause a lot of damage, help my team a little bit fast attacks heavy conditions, and a all rounded class like pve, pvp,WvW,dungeons Etc :/
Guardian. If you know what you’re doing, you can solo stuff like nobody’s business. Your damage won’t be as great as a warrior’s, but your ability to survive will go through the roof.
Check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TCbfaVHEjPI
I don’t like to solo i have a guild and like to mission with them.
(don,t Mean to sound rude)
So far i like both of the classes (Melee Rules) but i don’t know witch one should play i like in a melee class high damage (Dps) also like to survive in a fight a and speed to take enemy down and a little bit of range skill .Witch Should I pick Its Driving Me Insane !!! -_- -_- -_- -_-
Oh and i like pvp, pve,WvW,Dungeons etc. Well you can say i want to know which is well rounded with all of these gameplay

Confused Melons?
(I was going to suggest Confused Flaming Melons but, too long).
It would help to know if you like serious names, fanciful names, names to role play by., etc. Asking for names without giving any sort of hint means you are unlikely to get a name you can use.
I like all names as long as its catchy
I need help my Mesmer is going to be a human female. any suggestions
All of the professions are unique in their own way.
Although I still haven’t been playing that much with Necromancer and Engineer!![]()
I have to do that, although I have already created a few necros and engins already… 2 years ago.
My favorite profession and most playable is Mesmer.1. Mesmer
2. Elementalist
3. Warrior
4. Ranger
5. Guardian
6. Thief
7. Engineer
8. Necromancer
hmm i might try mesmer first
ok these are my top picked classes thief, necromancer,Mesmer, and warrior don’t know witch on to play for my main i just tried the ranger didn’t like it to much
i have a guardian but i think its going to start getting boring
which should i play
Things about my play style like to charge in to battle and do good damage ,don’t go down so fast like rang and close combat, cool armor and don’t like to supportAlso i’m leaning towards thief or necromancer
Mhmm, I would have said warrior but if you got bored with a guardian then I don’t really think you will enjoy warrior that much either. Both are great but warriors are arguebly even more boring to play than guardians.
Now, I would say than 1 day is too fast to decided wether a class is boring or not but that’s up to you.
Thief and mesmer are both complex. You may end up dying alot in Pve as a new player and it will generally take you longer time to learn. However, they are both rewarding eventhough I would say they are more popular in pvp than pve.
Thief is an assassin, has the highest melee damage and is REALLY rewarding if played correctly. It is probably one of the most rewarding professions in GW2 if played by a vet, however to reach that understanding of your class, it will take you time.
Mesmer is more of a unique class. I don’t think you have seen something too simliar to it in other MMOs.
They are both interesting to play. If you fan of assassin’s creed, you may want to go with the thief. If you want to try something unique and different, you can try the mesmer. Both classes are hard to play though compared to the guardian and warrior. You may want to give them time before judging.
thanks love assassin creed best game but should i do pvp to pick on because the ones i’ll make is thief and necro i like thoses classes. Mesmer comes later

A couple of questions -
- What sort of thing do you enjoy playing?
- What Game mode are you playing? There’s no point recommending Ranger if you really dislike playing a pet class. Equally there’s no point in recommending an Engineer if you’d prefer a class that uses swords. If you can answer those two then we can give you a better steer on what class (or classes) may suit your play style.
Hmm i like a charge in class like a guardian or warrior i don’t like thief or ranger because i want to rush into battle and i starting to look into necromancer.
Come play with me sometime when I’m on my Ranger and I’ll show you a charge into battle class :-P
But you’ve pretty much answered your question now. You want an up close and personal sort of class and build and pretty much every class has strong melee options. With that in mind (speaking from a PvE viewpoint) the ones i feel you should probably try are -
Warrior – A pretty solid choice for up close and personal. Plenty of weapons to choose from to suit your style including a couple of cap closers (mainhand sword and greatsword). You can also give some nice offensive buffs with banners/shouts. Hell you can even hit the bad guys with the banners if you want to :-P Biggest downside is everyone and their mum has one and for some people the playstyle can get kind boring.
Guardian – Once again nice for the “in your face” sort of style. You’ve got some gap closers (Sword, Greatsword and Hammer although not so much on the last one) and are able to dish out some serious damage. Also a well played Guard is a boon to any party as you have good group wide condi removal, and can keep people alive with reflects/aegis and other defensive boons. Biggest downside (for me) is you’re slow. I mean really slow! Also you will have a low health pool. Guardians and Ele’s have the lowest base health pools in the game.
Ranger – I know you said you didn’t like it but honestly try Sword/X and/or Greatsword. Greatsword has a gap closer, 2 evades, a block and an interrupt. Sword has 2 evades and some incredible attack speed. Couple Sword with something like offhand Axe and you have a reflect and a pull/interrupt as well. Downside is you are squishier than the 2 above but that’s why you have the evades :-P Also your pet is as dumb as a sack of rocks and you will need to command it. The micromanaging of the pet can be a pain in the kitten.
Necromancer – Well as you’re thinking of trying it, then for you’re “in your face style” then you’re going to want to go mainhand Dagger. This gives you access to a small cleave (2 targets I believe), a life steal ability and an immobilize. With an offhand dagger you also get a condi removal and blindness which can help a lot. Your other choices would be a focus, which has a chill and I believe a boon removal/corrupt, or a warhorn which has self swiftness and an interrupt. In a group you won’t be as useful as the ones above. The best you can offer is group wide protection (when traited), blindness on foes, and group condi removal (by drawing them to yourself).
Hope some of that helps.
Hmm i’ve been playing pvp isee that i not good with warrior but when i played guardian i win so battles and a starting to like the necromancer so i think those two will be my main and i’ll still like to try other classes expected engineer, ele, and warrior.
When i read about the ranger i guess i was wrong because a pretty good class so i’ll like to get a chance to play ranger and Mesmer.
Thanks for your help
