I noticed it too when the bladedancers no longer tried to shank me. Please please please revert it to BWE2 difficulty. As Colin said “The open world content is going to be much more challenging in Heart of Thorns.”

As of BWE3 that statement is a lie and the open world mobs are a complete joke that I can just faceroll without having to put in any effort or thought.

Hello, I’m looking for a casual mid to large size friendly and active guild to WvW, PvE, and run dungeons with.

Just now on EB I managed to find an [iLL] thief with buffs as long as his health bar. I found him while investigating mysterious player deaths on our side of EB. Anyways we fought, my hp exploded, and thank god I chose Guardian as my main. In the end I had 2k hp left and had almost dodged off a cliff. I take out my shield for some prot and quick healing from the 5 skill when suddenly I get xp and a loot bag out of thin air. After realizing what happened I couldn’t help but laugh. Was pretty sure I was dead too.

No offense meant btw.

THIS! So much this. I’ve run and reran the Temple of Grenth event chain 15+ times today. If Jonez isn’t killed by his low health pool, or the boss smashing his head in with a block of ice, or giant spiders eating him, it’s the kitten Champion Wraith that spawns at the end of this mess of an event. There is NO way to keep Jonez alive through it.

Currently on try #7. Anyone want to help save some time and tell us if there’s an uncontested Temple of Grenth?

So there’s a Yaks Bend gs/lb warrior roaming on Mag tonight and I’m running D/D bunker spec, so it’s hard to get near him. I just leave instead of fight him forever, so he invites me to group. I decline. He then messages me with an alt on Maguuma, makes accusations about me trolling (meanwhile he’s playing on Maguuma and Yaks Bend) the forum all the time and he’s glad to have beat me (neither of which are true), then logs that character off. I see him again and save a guildy from him, and then he runs, does a laugh emote because I can’t burst him down (because I’m bunker), and then it’s my turn to run when I’m waiting for cds, and he stops and spams laugh emotes forever.

Stay classy Yaks Bend.

Finally explored that area today and I found that event hilarious. Also Asura have a more acute sense of smell compared to humans so perhaps they, or at least those two brothers, do think harpies smell good.

As a side note my little Asura sniffing the air is adorable.

Experiment Log 389-10b

Trials of the new agent are proceeding smoothly. With this batch we hope to avoid the purging and waste suffered from our last iteration of the agent. The test subjects appear to be responding accordingly with 23% showing the desired results. It should be noted that of the 23% that responded 3% seem to show intense affection and attachment towards the [REDACTED] where as before they showed mainly apathy and possible hostility.

To whomever that TC Guardian was that had that duel with me on the side of the Sendaran(?) Hill cliff face in the TC BL. That was by far the most fun I’ve had in a W3 in awhile. And for that I /salute thee.

If this – by a cosmic chance – was when a ranger jumped on your head after you downed the guardian (the overall setup and time approx. matches), then he actually wrote in local something along the lines of “that was a great duel, mate” afterwards, despite knowing the poor dead Asura won’t ever be able to see it. I found the sentiment a bit strange at that time, but I didn’t watch the duel in question, just ran there after I saw the downed icon pop up.

So in case this actually was ‘your’ guardian, you can rest assured he clearly enjoyed it at least about as you were.

If the Asura in question was wearing fiery red Draconic armor with blue cloth bits then yep. You falling on my head was completely unexpected at the time, but I’m glad to know he enjoyed it as much as me.
